  1. Loved this trip down memory lane Cha. Do fans still have faith in these unique friendships? I wonder what the guys are thinking. How I wish I could look into the future – or maybe not.
How are you my friend. Busy as always I know. The little sigh you left on Jae`s ELLETV post made me want to check on you.
    Your friend YF.

    • Hi YF, Thanks for the caring. “Sigh” means I want to settle for a while and talk–but time will not allow. I had to study for my class, coordinate with John on the family budget, and tweet the guys.
It is hailling, snowing, and sleeting here. One of the worst early spring storms we have ever seen. There was so much snow this year that the melt a couple oif weeks ago has not dried and then it rained and snowed again–so we are talking a really spongy lawn right now. Hopefully, it will dry up soon before I fall through to China.
March winds are blowing also. What’s going on in your neck of the woods? Cha

      • YF, I meant to address your question about people still having faith in the guys friendships. That is a good question and one that is hard to answer. I prefer to think that love suffers long and will forgive all things–but I am coming from a much older perspective.
My personal opinion is that despite all the occasional blustering and posturing–these guys still love one another. You fight the most with the ones you love because the emotions run so deep. All that we can do is continue to pray for restoration. I am not as interested in wanting them to go back to status quo as much as wanting them to decide to love where they are, when they are. Then we can let time take care of it all. Cha

        • Hi Cha,
thanks for both replies. The tasks are the same here but the weather is kinder – just rain and chilly winds. You sure have had a rough winter.
Hopefully you will be seeing spring soon – I believe we will also. The sun is quite powerful already – when it`s there.
Wise and comforting words about our boys/men there. How I wish they would come here to read.
My sentences are short and choppy now – typing has become an impossible undertaking as my arm and shoulder has given in again. Due to this and other aches I will be less active posting, commenting and tweeting for a while. I take it to mean I should let go a little now. We are still open though so come by whenever you want to. You guys` visits were one of the things that made the whole thing worthwhile.
Oh, and about the Five Member Project – it appears the money are supposed to be for bus ads. I left you a comment about it.
          Thanks, YF

          • Gee YF,
Why is it that I am always missing the memo? Are you dealing with carpal tunnel? You must be in a lot of pain because I know how much you love to communicate.
Rest for now, and even if things are a little slow, they will pick up again. I’ll try to get to your website as much as possible. This has been a catch-up week. Groceries, car problems, you name it–we’ve done it this week. Here is Friday and it feels like a month has passed in a few days. I’ll check out the project as soon as I can. Cha

            • Thank you for your kind words Cha. That`s a good question. I haven`t had it examined – perhaps I should. I do? I`ve always considered myself as someone who doesn`t communicate very well, at least not within the fandom – it is getting worse and worse knowing what to say. So a break might be called for – I probably don`t have a choice. Ah…yes, please post the photos. I would love to see them. Can I save a few of them? Nature photos are about the only ones I save to file these days. They tend to make good wallpapers.
It`s been one of those weeks (months) then. Somehow our cars just have to fall apart at times when at least three other things in the house refuse to work (to be sure, one of them will always be the washing machine). It`s like they know. I hope you will have a quiet and happy weekend Cha.

  2. You too. I’m sorry. I didn’t take all of the photos. They are of my yard, I prefer to keep them close if I can.
However, I do have some general beautiful photos in my files that I will post soon. You may take your choices there.
I really think that you should get that checked. I know that it isn’t always as easy as it sounds, but in lieu of that, I will pray for healing for you and cessation of symptoms. Hopefully, as the weather warms up–there will also be some relief for you.
My dilemma is always my back. It calms down then flares up if I push it too hard. I guess age has its drawbacks. John says it’s not the age–it’s the mileage. Cha

  3. No problem! You know – I thought the minute I saw the photos (and that was before I read your comment in the posting), “no, because these are HERS.” They just had that special something that make them belong to the one who took`em. And this is funny – because there`s another reason why I don`t need to save them in order to remember them: your corner of the world looks exactly like mine. I know, crazy right? But those are spring photos, aren`t they? I may be mistaken, but I recognize the light.

Thank you very much for the caring! I actually feel better (which makes me feel like I`m, once again, complaining about nothing.) I will have it checked, just because one always should – but I suspect it`s the Curse of the Lefthanded again, as it calms down when I stop using the mouse. I could switch the mouse to the left side of the laptop, of course, but it feels awkward. I guess taking it easy is a good solution for now.
Uh-oh. Backaches are absolutely no joke. Maybe it is the mileage – or maybe you`re just one of those unlucky persons disposed for pains like that. Cha, have you tried acupuncture treatments? They have helped me a lot.

  4. So you are left-handed? So is Chris, but she uses the mouse right-handedly. Oddly enough, Ivory is the one who uses her mouse on the left-hand side.
I’m glad to hear that our worlds look similar. They call it God’s Country here which makes me think of Mi-guk , Korea’s name for America– “Beautiful Country’. Most of our pictures have us in them, so I didn’t post any of those. Acupuncture is not in my realm nor are chiropractors. I guess I”ve never given them much thought. Usually avoiding doing major tasks with my hands does help. I see that works for you too. I saw the twitter account and followed it. I usually show up in the mentionables, so probably noone ever sees what I write. Oh, well. I get the satisfaction of knowing that I did. Cha

  5. Yep, I am. Interesting variations there – and I do admire peoplewho manage to use a left-hand mouse. If I could do that, no doubt my problems would be solved. Well, one of them anyway. Practice and patience,YF. Really, they call it “Beautiful Country”? No doubt they`re right – but there sure are a lot of dreams and hopes ringing from those words also. It`s very touching.
Thanks for following us! I`m following myself really. Meaning I hardly know how it works, so I`m just hanging around, watching others and mimicking them. love dbsk takes care of things. YF, says, “Aaaah…so THAT`s how it works!” Such are things in our household. ^^

  6. Here too. I am learning quite a few things beyond what I initially started with. John helps if I get extra-scrambled, but I’m beginning to fgure out a lot on my own. It kind of like the thrill of the hunt thing. I experiment sometimes to see what doesn’t blow up. The family celebrated I and John’s 28th anniversary today. We went to church, then to dinner at Red Lobster, one of my favorite places. Anniversary gifts are tomorrow and then I can breathe–March family activities will be finished. No more birthday’s until May and June, then none again until March of next year. YesAsia shipped Junsu’s Levay with Friends on March 14th. I hope it gets here soon. I’ll probably let the Intoxication disc sit. I’m not that interested in that one–but I really want to see the Mozart and LeVay with Friends. What is Elizabeth? Cha

  7. Happy Anniversary Charlene + John! 28 years…that is just amazing and wonderful.

And I am so glad your DVD is underway also! I am awaiting a few of the newest Cantopop releases, some Hello! Project stuff and then…Keep Your Head Down, Repackaged Version…what else. xD
Elizabeth appears to be a Viennese musical composed by Sylvester Levay. Junsu included some of its songs into his musical concert and I assume these are on the DVD as well? More on the musical itself (though with no mention of our Junsu unfortunately) here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elisabeth_(musical)

  8. Thank You, YF. Very relaxing day.
Elisabeth is included in the breakdown of the songs on the DVD. Thanks, I’ll check out the link. Elizabeth/Elisabeth is a family name that has goes back at least five generations. I and my sister both named our daughters Elizabeth/Elisabeth respectively.
I was born on the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s inauguration, so I tend to pay attention whenever I see the name.
Maybe I’m just fussy, but what’s with all the remixes, and etc. They are exciting, but you can’t absorb one version before they’ve remixed/repackaged/re-something and put it back out there. You could go broke for sure. 🙂 Cha

  9. Really? How nice when a name becomes a family tradition or even part of your own history like that!
I think that is a sentiment that you share with a lot of fans actually. 🙂 One new song will not, in many cases, make fans feel as if they have spent their hard-earned money wisely.

  10. I guess I shouldn’t complain, I think it is just as extension of K-Pop’s tendency to work extremely hard at everything they do. I guess if you don’t like one version, you may like another.
Sorry, YF, I’m really caught up right now as I think you have already surmised–so while things are relatively 🙂 quiet right now, I am doing spring cleaning and winter catch-up. Soon the garden will be calling. I haven’t yet decided whether I am going to rest the soil this year–but that may not be a bad idea because it would rest my back as well. I am praying that no radiation will affect where you or I or the other ladies live.
I will try my best to converse for a while on Wednesday on the websiite and twitter. BTW, are you posting each one of your posts on there? Cha

  11. Yes I am – or rather, they get posted automatically. You just connect to Twitter via the Sharing settings on the dashboard. I did it that way because I did not have previous knowledge of Twitter at all and I wanted a chance to see what tweets actually looked like before I started making them. But I kept it because I realized that as long as I`m operating the account, that will probably be what I`m going to post – headlines, both ours and those of other writers. I really don`t think there`ll be any diary entries from me….this may be quite hard to believe as you know only too well what a chatterbox I can be, but by now, having said all these things for so long, silly things as well as hopefully-not-so-silly things, I don`t really have so much to say anymore. I`m just someone who supports the boys and posts some news. Sometimes when you start out doing something, you have all these great ambitions. But the ambition of simply to carry for a little while is fine too… I don`t really think it matters all that much to five guys we all know of anyway. They are doing their thing, bless them. The world keeps turning, with or without my contribution. That turning must continue, so, yes, we are praying for Japan and for the other areas that are or may be affected. I see you have posted a lot on the situation. I am beginning to come here for world news as a matter of fact. Being informed is so important – it helps us plan our next step. Gardening is such a step too – venturing outside to meet with a new season does take a lot of courage in fact. I hope there will soon be flowers and sunshine enough to make you forget the winter! We`re awaiting it too.
Thank you for always coming over whenever you have the time – but please don`t worry about it, because there is no rush – you are always welcome.
And regarding the new version released…I still really can`t stand that song…
    😉

  12. YF, You are so interesting. You need some encouragement. All of us have a habit of foot-in-mouth occasionally. You should check me out at church. I can be very adamant about the things that I personally believe are important, and everyone doesn’t always agree–so there you are–foot in again. You have much to say to this world–say it even it it proves to be inaccurate. That is what you believe is accurate at that moment in time. Just correct it and try harder next time.
I think that you and I are suffering from sensory deprivation. I am so busy posting and tweeting that I don’t always find time to enjoy what attracted me to the guys in the first place. Their music and dance. As DBSK initially, and now as JYJ and HoMin/DBSK.
I have spent some time recently just listening to the songs and albums I enjoy, and not allowing the computer to dictate to me. I am in control of you, Ms. Juicy, Not you in control of me.
Maybe we all need a break, which is why I have been trying to relax for a while–more will be happening come April 2nd, and remember that there are still hearings to get through. When you stop the sentry duty is when the enemy takes you by storm. I do not cease to love but take time to bask in that love.
Anyway–world news–I am just trying to understand and encourage people because it seems as if we cannot breathe. One disaster follows another and there you are, full of fear and uncertainty. We don’t have to go there if we can just apply our God-given common sense to the issues. Spring is coming–new life bursts forth. Let’s lean back and enjoy it. Cha

  13. Hehe, thanks. Well, you are encouraging me – thank you. I hope I can do the same for you – because I don`t ever think that what you say is wrong. 🙂
Tell me about it! I don`t even have the time to watch the videos I`m posting. Luckilly nothing too outrageous has got in yet. And I haven`t watched a DVD with them in I don`t know how long.
Usually all I`m up to at the end of the day is to catch an episode of some KDrama online. At the moment, I`m halfway through Full House. Late, but great.
Ms. Juicy – I had almost forgot about that lovely name! You are providing some great entertainment in here. Nothing is as fun as listening to (reading about really) people arguing with their computers. Mine has behaved well since I got it back, but it`s a different soul in there. Yes, I am sure of it. Whereas the first “edition” of this computer was taking me all over the place at great speed, this one seems to be a lot more cautious. Maybe not so strange after what happened. Since we agree that our computers are ladies, let me just say that while the first one of mine was a perky teen, this one is a suspicious old lady in her eighties. Dependable, to be sure, but definitely holding back some. Maybe that is just as well. In any case I am still able to make looong threads in here.
Are you getting lots of comments?
I can`t say I am. Maybe I`m talking so much that noone else can get a word in?
Yes, let`s – we sure have deserved a brighter season after this long, long, too long winter.
Oh, and the HoMin boys` repackaged album arrived today and I take back (almost) everything I said. (I still don`t like that song. xD) The photocards look so different when you actually hold them in your own hands. It`s a precious addition to the collection.
    See ya,
    YF

  14. Well YF, we both got blessed. Junsu’s LeVay with friends arrived today, and, I do declare!!! It was worth every penny. There’s about 4 hours of footage of Mozart and Elisabeth, a very dark tale, and encore performance footage. There is an hour’s worth of rehearsals and such a mix of song and comedy. Excellent singers, dancers, and of course Junsu and Levay. Levay wrote music during the seventies and the 1975 disco song ‘Fly Robin Fly’ is his creation. I loved that song in my twenties. He also wrote scores for many movies I know. Such an eclectic talented man. I didn’t get away with not inserting the Intoxication disc because that was one minute details on one and one-half hours worth of footage. Just suffice it to say that it was the only fly in the ointment and I am praying that our Duckie realizes that his own personal sex appeal is in his personality, smile, and mannerisms.
John upgraded my computer, and yes, it turned into syrup. I now ascend the hall stairs and do my posting on Elizabeth’s dream machine. Fast and furious.
I have a breakfast appointment with a lady from church at 9 a.m. tomoirrow, so I’ll check on you about noon.
    <3 Cha
