Kim Jaejoong will be portraying the character of capable Financial Prince Cha Mu Won, acting against Ji Sung, Choi Kang Hee and Wang Ji Hye. Although he is the talent who is excellent in handling matters and with gentleman poise, but as the time passes by, changes occur with the surroundings.

Kim Jaejoong’s first domestic drama had attracted lots of attention. He, who debuted as an actor through Japan’s drama, “In Japan, all the staffs are Japanese. Therefore they miraculously looked at me and treated me very well. If I were to say a similarity between acting in Korea and Japan, it would be that both treat me especially well,” saying this while laughing. He also talked about the most worrying thing in domestic drama. “Because Japanese and native language are not the same, it was less burdened on the contrary. It is a domestic drama and although it is my own country, I am afraid that I might speak wrongly thus I am rather worried about this.”

In the revealed video, Kim Jaejoong’s expression and talking were very natural. Though the attention was on Kim Jaejoong’s first domestic drama, the fans’ gifts placed at the production press conference garnered even more attention. Both domestic and international fans have sent rice wreaths to support Kim Jaejoong’s drama, expressing their support.

It is a common sight in idol-participated activities to see rice wreaths but it was a large-scale support on that day. The amount of rice wreaths sent in was a total of 6.56 tonne.

Well wishes from fans such as “Wish for big success”, “Hope that it will be a great success”, “It’s Cha Mu Won time”, were seen on it. A total of 80 groups of Kim Jaejoong and JYJ fanclubs have sent the 6.56 tonnes of rice. They did not just sent the rice wreaths. They donated the rice to the less fortunate under the name of Kim Jaejoong after the activity.

Kim Jaejoong will be changing from his charismatic stage performance into a capable gentleman Cha Mu Won through this drama. Although he have attained popularity in Japan’s drama, the domestic reviews might be different. Whether he is able to present a satisfied acting to the viewers and himself, has attracted a lot of concerns.

‘Protect The Boss’ is premiering on the 3rd of August.
