[News] Record stores set up special ‘JYJ sales counters’ for “In Heaven”

The in-store release of JYJ‘s new album “In Heaven” has forced some stores to open a separate counter in order to handle the sheer volume of JYJ sales.

Before releasing their album on September 27th, JYJ sold 300,000 units in pre-orders alone. While many were expecting “In Heaven” to be a popular item, no one foresaw the level of demand that flooded record stores, forcing the decision to set up a separate sales counter just for JYJ.

In a Hot Tracks store, a counter with the sign ‘Only for JYJ Purchases’ can be read along with stacks of boxes containing the “In Heaven” CDs for faster and easier purchases. Meanwhile, online stores like Synnara Records had to create a separate page for JYJ purchases on their website due to the rush of visitors purchasing the album.
