The first full-length album of JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong has taken six crowning titles on Japan’s Rakuten.
C-JeS Entertainment stated, “Kim Jaejoong’s first full-length album is expected to be released late-October but has already become the most ordered product on Rakuten, a Japanese online shopping site that features 120 million products, and has also become the most ordered product by women, the most ordered CD/DVD, the most ordered CD/DVD by women, the most ordered CD and the most ordered product in the Asia/K-POP section, for a total of six crowning titles,” and “As soon as news hit that Kim Jaejoong would be releasing a full-length album, we’ve been receiving calls from fans from all around the world, and fans in Asian countries are already gearing up to buy the album in groups.” They also added, “A high quality album that lives up to the fans’ expectations will be released.”
Singapore’s popular ‘My Paper’ also covered the news of Kim Jaejoong’s album release. In their October 1st edition, they stated, “Kim Jaejoong’s full-length rock album will be released soon, followed by a concert in Korea and an Asian tour,” while adding that his mini-album ‘I’ had already topped the Korean charts and that his upcoming album had dominated the online Japanese charts.
Kim Jaejoong’s pre-released track ‘One Kiss’ topped the iTunes rock charts in nine countries, including Japan, Singapore and Taiwan, and ranked second on the Billboard Worldwide Charts, and first on various Taiwanese and Japanese album ranking charts, proving that the singer is loved all around the world.
Kim Jaejoong’s first full-length album is set to be released later this month and he will kick off his Asia tour in Korea, moving on to Japan and the rest of Asia afterwards. His Seoul performances will be held at COEX on the 2nd and 3rd of November, and ticket reservations will be held tomorrow at 8p.m.
