[NEWS] 150215 Kim Jae-joong Fights For Love

Kim Jae-joong transforms into a man who will stop at nothing to protect his loved ones in the KBS drama “Spy” on Friday.

In the latest episodes Kim’s character Kim Seon-woo, an elite National Intelligence Service agent, protects his love, his family and his country in his own way.

In the episodes, he volunteers to become a double agent when his mother is blackmailed into becoming a spy.

And when his girlfriend, played by Ko Sung-hee, is kidnapped, he steals a hard disk for Hwang Ki-chul, a North Korean spy played by Yu Oh-seong.

He even fights off his fellow NIS agents to deliver the information to Hwang.

However, when it is revealed that his girlfriend is a spy planted by Hwang, Kim’s character goes on to recover the disk from the North Korean master spy.

Two 50-minute episodes of “Spy” are aired back-to-back every Friday.

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong will be making his return to the small screen as a genius analyst.

C-JeS Entertainment, singer and actor Kim Jae Joong’s agency, announced on November 26, “Kim Jae Joong has confirmed his appearance on KBS2’s Spy. Kim Jae Joong will be acting as a genius analyst, showing his new charms in acting once again.”

Spy is based on the Israeli drama titled MICE*, depicting the story of a mother who is a former spy and her son who is a national intelligence service agent. It will be a new type of drama combining the genre of family and intelligent thriller, targeting those in their 20s to 40s.

In the drama, Kim Jae Joong will be taking the role of the genius man named Sun Woo, who analyzes information on North Korea as he works for the national intelligent service, showing his extraordinary skills with quick judgments and level-headedness.

He will be showing a tight mother-son relationship with his mother, acted by Bae Jong Ok, and a sharp competition with Yoo Oh Sung, who will act as the North Korean spy.

Spy is aiming to air in January next year.

JYJ‘s Kim Jae Joong has been confirmed as the lead actor of an upcoming KBS drama called “Spy.”

Kim Jae Joong’s agency CJeS Entertainment announced on November 26, “Kim Jae Joong has been confirmed as the lead in the new KBS Friday drama ‘Spy.’ He will be portraying a genius analyst for the project.”

“Spy” is based on an Israeli drama called “The Gordin Cell.” It will be a drama about an ex-spy mother and her son who works for the National Intelligence Service. It will be a new hybrid drama, mixing the usual family drama genre with spy thriller elements.

In the drama, Kim Jae Joong will portray Seonwoo, a genius analyst working for the NIS. Actress Bae Jong Ok will play his mother, an ex-spy from North Korea.

“Spy” is scheduled for a January premiere on KBS.

Ticket Lottery in Japan and how it works

1. Official fanclub members usually have the priority to apply for tickets ahead of the publlic sale.
2. The ticketing will be done via lottery, which means you can either get the tickets or not. The seats are also pre-assigned and the ticket price remains the same wherever you are seated.
3. After the lottery results are announced, you are usually given a time frame to pay for your tickets. Unpaid tickets will be included in the public sale.
4. There will also be a public sale to give non-fanclub members a chance to grab tickets. You can usually buy them through convenience stores.
5. You can only know your exact seat when you go to the venue to exchange your ticket at the entrance.

JYJ′s Kim Junsu is returning through OST.

Kim Junsu will be singing the main theme song, ‘In the Time I love You’(translated) for MBC′s new drama “Mr. Baek”, which will begin on November 5.

C-JeS Entertainment stated on November 4, “After receiving much popularity during the winter season through songs like ‘Love is Like Snow’, we′re anticipating a music chart all-kill with another OST from Kim Junsu.”

“Mr. Baek”′s main theme song, ‘In the Time I Love You’ will be revealed on November 5 through music sites. The song is a quiet ballad with a melody that fit well with Kim Junsu′s unique and emotional voice. The lyrics speak of the feeling of love experienced for the first time for one man.

Kim Junsu sang ‘Love is Like Snow’ for “Nice Man”, ‘I Love You’ for “Empress Ki”, and other songs that fit the winter season. Kim Junsu′s ‘In the Time I Love You’ is expected to become another hit this winter.

Hally idol group JYJ will make a comeback with a concert tour ahead of releasing a new single album.

The group will hold “JYJ Japan Dome Tour” in major Japanese cities in Nov.-Dec., the agency said.

This is their third concert in Japan following “Thanksgiving Live in Dome” in 2010 and “The Return of the JYJ” in 2013.

Under the theme of “Ichigo Ichie,” which means “the only encounter in lifetime,” the concert tour will show fancier performances than before. The members will also reveal new charms as artists.

[NEWS] JYJ Gearing Up for Japan Dome Tour Beginning in November, Preparing Japanese Single Album Release

It has been announced that JYJ is currently making preparations to kick off their comeback in Japan with a brand new concert tour.

On October 17, C-JeS Entertainment shared, “This coming November and December, JYJ will be greeting their fans in Japan with the 2014 ‘JYJ Japan Dome Tour – Ichigo Ichie,’ which will open in Tokyo, Osaka, and other major cities. They are also preparing the release of a new Japanese single album.”

Through this ‘Ichigo Ichie’—or “once-in-a-lifetime meeting”—tour, the members are planning to carry out live stages with impressive performances, as well as show off their more mature and improved abilities and individual charms as artists.

This announcement is gaining even more interest especially because of the news that JYJ is gearing up to release their very first Japanese single album.

Following the 2010 ‘Thanksgiving Live in Dome’ and the 2013 ‘The Return of The JYJ’ dome concerts, this upcoming tour will be the group’s third time. This particular tour is meaningful to the members, as it will mark their official comeback in Japan, making it known that they will begin active promotions in the country.

The C-JeS Entertainment rep also revealed that fans in Japan continuously requested a dome tour as soon as the news of JYJ’s Asia tour was announced.

Meanwhile, JYJ is earning much attention from Japanese fans and local media ever since the reports of the tour and single album, and the members are busy getting ready to kick off another dome tour.

Synopsis
Based on true events, the story is about a large 69-ton fishing boat’s crew as they attempt to smuggle in illegal migrants in order to keep their fishing jobs. But their plan goes wrong when they meet a tragic accident while transporting the thirty or so illegal migrants on the ship amid a heavy sea fog. And amid the chaos, the youngest crew Dong-sik tries to protect a young female migrant who he falls in love with against the crazed Captain Kang and other crew members.

Director’s Comment
Based on a true event that took place in Yeosu, 2001, HAEMOO is a combination genre film that fuses crime thriller and melodrama. Ordinary fishermen face moments of hell as they take on the role of smuggling illegal Korean-Chinese migrants. Stuck in thick sea fog, I wanted to portray the innocence and personal sacrificial love that rise from clashing of this generation’s pain, human desire, human desire and morality in a moment of grave adversity.

The Busan showcase of ‘Sea Fog’ had the crowds roaring in delight.

The team of ‘Sea Fog’ gathered in Busan on the 15th of July to hold an impromptu greeting and showcase, and was met with loud cheers from the public.

Busan’s Gwanganli Beach in Haeundae was already filled to the brim with people even before the arrival of Kim Yoon Seok, Park Yoochun, Lee Hui Joon, Moon Sung Geun, Kim Sang Ho and Han Yaeri. Kim Yoon Seok said, “I’m so happy to be coming back to my hometown for this event. Thank you so much for coming to see us despite the weather.”

The showcase had the actors holding a quiz about their upcoming movie and giving movie tickets to audience members who got the answers right. As this was the first time that the cast was meeting the public, it was later said that everyone had a great time during the event.

The official showcase that was held from 8pm was attended by over 3,500 people. The showcase was aired live on Daum, showing the cast members giving honest answers about their experiences. A never-before-seen teaser for the movie was aired, much to the delight of the audience. Signed posters were handed out, pictures were taken, and Park Yoochun gave surprise hugs to a limited few.

Curiosity about Park Yoochun and Han Yaeri’s intimate scenes as Dong Shik and Hong Mae peaked as the night went on.

Director Shim Sung Bo stated, “Thank you so much for coming to such a meaningful event. Forget about the summer heat with our great production,” while Kim Yoon Seok said, “‘Sea Fog’ is a sexy movie you can’t take your eyes off of. Don’t miss out!” Meanwhile, Kim Sang Ho said, “In word one, I would describe ‘Sea Fog’ as ‘real’. It’s such a realistic movie.”

Meanwhile, Bong Joon Ho’s ‘Sea Fog’ is the story of six sailors who find their ship filled with stowaways. The movie will be released on the 13th of August.

Ahead of his first appearance in MBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Night Watchmen’, TVXQ’s Jung Yunho opened up about what he hoped to achieve.

On the 11th, Jung Yunho stated, “I feel great because the drama’s off to a good start,” and “The atmosphere on set is positive and energetic.”

Jung Il Woo fights ghosts in new posters for The Night Watchman’s Journal

The Night Watchman’s Journal, described as a fusion fantasy set in the Joseon era, has released new posters and stills. Most importantly, the new drama stars Jung Il Woo, who gets to play a royal prince by day and ghost buster at night.

Judging from the posters, the show packs in multiple genres such as paranormal, romance, action, and suspense into one fantastic period drama. Jung Il Woo is a prince who inherited a special power from his father which allows him to see ghosts. Although he is a royal prince, he lives a lonely life outside of the palace. (To fans who fell for Jung Il Woo in The Moon That Embraces The Sun, we hope he gets the girl this time.)

Aside from Jung Il Woo, the exciting drama also co-stars Go Sung Hee, Seo Ye Ji, and Jung Yun Ho of TVXQ.

The upcoming MBC drama “The Night Watchman” on Friday revealed behind-the-scenes photos of actor and idol group TVXQ member Jung Yun-ho.

In the drama, Jung plays the skillful swordsman Moosuk. According to local reports, the staff of the drama spotted him devoting himself to sword practice for his character.

The released photos show Jung practicing his sword skills in the scorching summer heat. His sharp eyes show the strength and dignity of a swordsman.

The Monday-Tuesday drama will air from Aug. 4 on MBC at 10 p.m.

[News] 140725 TV Commercial for JYJ Goes On Air

JYJ became the first K-pop band to advertise themselves through a TV commercial.

The commercial to promote JYJ was first broadcast on July 21 right after the closing of MBC’s 23-episode action drama “Triangle,” starring group member Jaejoong.

The TV commercial brings JYJ’s three members — Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu — into the spotlight, with the catch phrases “One for all” and “All for one.”

“We invested 1 billion won into this three-week TV commercial campaign to raise JYJ’s brand power,” their agency C-Jes Entertainment said Wednesday.

The ad air on major TV networks and cable channels until Aug. 8.

The group’s long-awaited comeback is imminent, with their second studio album “Just Us” and the music video for the title track “Back Seat” to be released on July 29.

Following the album’s release, JYJ will hold the third “JYJ Membership Week” expo in Seoul from July 31 through Aug. 3 for their fan clubs. The event has been held annually in the capital for free since 2012, drawing more than 20,000 fans each year from home and abroad.

The band has also scheduled its Asia concert tour “The Return of the King,” with the first concert to kick off on Aug. 9 in Seoul. The idols are set to visit eight cities across Asia including Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.
