Jackal is Coming’, the comedy starring JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and Song Ji Hyo, is set to begin showing in cinemas across Japan on May 3rd.

‘Jackal is Coming’ has opened its official Japanese homepage and has started preparations for its Japanese debut. A Twitter account and Facebook page have also been created for Japanese viewers. The movie is set to be released under the title ‘Codename: Jackal’.

As JYJ are extremely popular in Japan, popularity for the movie is already skyrocketing. Regarding  ‘Jackal is Coming’ and its Japanese release date, various media sources described the movie as “a production that has been receiving much interest from the world, especially Asia, since its release.”

Regarding the leading role of Kim Jaejoong, they stated, “Not only does he sing as a member of JYJ, he has received much praise for his growth as an actor through the Korean dramas ‘Protect the Boss’ and ‘Dr. Jin’.
