The SBS drama “Rooftop Prince” will be airing 3 episodes this week, and aims to fortify its place as the top rated drama for its time slot.

On 17 April, personnel from “Rooftop Prince” said, “Episode 8 will air on 18 April, and on 19 April we will broadcast episode 9 and 10. “Star Couple Show – Honey” will be temporarily suspended”

Ever since it started broadcast, “Rooftop Prince” had been steadily closing the initial 7% gap, and managed to overtake “The King 2 Hearts”, which was the top rated drama for their time slot, at episode 6, to become the number 1 drama in ratings.

Last week, to avoid the elections, the production team had initally planned to stop broadcast on Wednesday and air 2 episodes back to back on Thursday, but on the morning of Thursday, the production team announced that they would only be airing one episode on this day, which incited dissent among the viewers.

This week, they plan to broadcast 3 episodes, which will be a great treat for the loyal viewers of “Rooftop Prince.”

While celebrities are simultaneously uploading proof shots (of themselves voting) during the 4.11 General Elections, “JYJ Fans Proof Shots” have become a topic of discussion instead.

JYJ’s fans are responding to member Jaejoong’s tweet on 9 April, “Everyone please do take part in the general elections votings. Please upload proof shots~^^” JYJ fans each took proof shots in front of voting posts, while holding JYJ related items such as CDs, pictures and messages, and uploaded them.

Aside from the individual proof shots, the large “Proof Shot Mosaics” which were made have also become topic of discussions. As of 10.32am on 11 April, there were 153 proof shots, and this increased to 248 photos by 12.03pm. This number has continued to increase.

News] JYJ Fans Promote Voting for Seoul’s Mayoral Election and Album “In Heaven”

For October 26′s Seoul’s Mayoral election, many celebrities showed proof of voting but what about their fans?

JYJ fans gathered to post a relay of “proof” shots of their voting activity on an online community. In these photos you can see the blue sign that directs voters to the voting location along with fans’ hands holding up JYJ’s latest album “In Heaven” next to the sign. One photo that stands out in particular is a picture of Jaejoong’s life-size cardboard cut-out standing next to a large voting location sign.


Netizens commented, “This is very cool,” “What an awesome idea,” and “That Jaejoong photo is the funniest.”

Members of JYJ couldn’t vote themselves since they are currently in Spain for their European Tour. It’s great, though, to see fans come out to do the double work of promoting both voting and JYJ’s new album. JYJ is finding it hard to appear on television to promote their album but it seems that fan support and creativity will really encourage the members.
