[NEWS] 121123 Asia Bridge Contents Loses Lawsuit Against C-JeS Entertainment

[NEWS] 121123 Asia Bridge Contents Loses Lawsuit Against C-JeS Entertainment

Last year, Asia Bridge Contents filed a lawsuit against JYJ‘s agency C-JeS Entertainment demanding a refund of 1 billion won ($921,192) in production costs. However, on November 23rd, the Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of C-JeS Entertainment.

The company had signed an album production contract with a composer identified as ‘K‘ and paid the sum as an advance in April of 2010. ‘K’ had been under contract for the production of JYJ’s ‘The Beginning‘ album.

Last year, however, the company filed a lawsuit against C-JeS Entertainment demanding their refund of the advance.

The court has finally made their decision today and found that C-JeS Entertainment was not liable, reasoning, “This is a matter between Asia Bridge Contents and ‘K’, and does not involve C-JeS Entertainment in any way. C-JeS Entertainment is not obligated to refund the sum being demanded of them.”

[NEWS] ‘Elizabeth’ Producers Deny Rumors of Junsu Getting Paid US $54,000 Per Show

[NEWS] “Elizabeth” Producers Deny Rumors of Junsu Getting Paid US $54,000 Per Show

The producers of musical ‘Elizabeth‘ denied rumors of JYJ‘s Junsu getting paid 60 million KRW (approximately US$54,000) per show.

The producers, EMK Musical Company, stated, “It is not true that Junsu took 1.92 billion KRW (approximately US$1.7 million) as a guarantee after 32 shows.

EMK Musical Company also added, “For 120 shows, ‘Elizabeth’ costs 9.5 billion KRW (approximately US$8.7 million) for the production, or 80 million KRW (US$73,000) per show. That includes the venue fees, the copyright fees, the actor expenses, promotional costs, along with stage and set costs. It doesn’t make logical sense for one actor to take 75% of the total production cost.

The company is currently planning to take legal action against the media outlet that reported about Junsu’s pay.

[TRANS] 120126 C-JeS States, “Booked For Violating The Ships Safety Act? It Was Only A Referential Questioning

It has been found that JYJ’s Park Yoochun was questioned as a reference with regards to a violation against the Ships Safety Act.

Through a phone conversation with Issue Daily on the 26th of January, a representative of Park Yoochun’s agency explained, “The commissioned business that was put in charge of Park Yoochun’s yacht is currently being investigated because they irresponsibly did not fulfill their contract and thus missed the deadline for their safety management inspection,” and “Park Yoochun was only questioned as a reference as he is the owner of the yacht and he has no direct association with the current issue at hand.“

A representative of the Korean Coast Guards’ South Regional Headquarters also stated, “An article was released with information that even we didn’t know. We will be sure to make an inquiry to YTN to find out what channel this article was released through.”

Today, YTN made a false report that Park Yoochun was booked by the Korean Coast Guard’s South Regional Headquarters for violating the Ships Safety Act by not holding a safety management inspection for his yacht.
