[TRANS] 111210 TVXQ Blitzes Into Taiwan, Indomitable Charm Cripples Songshan Airport
TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin arrived at Songshan Airport today at 11.15am, and caused another Hallyu explosion. Despite the rainy weather and low temperature of around 10 degrees, hundreds of fans were gathered within and outside the airport, showing that TVXQ’s charm is truly indomitable. The fans who spent a long time waiting for Yunho and Changmin to appear, would randomly practice their cheers. Even with the cold spell, Songshan Airport remained feverishly passionate!
Accompanied by thousands of cheers, Yunho and Changmin finally appeared. With their tall figures, wearing sunglasses, and dressed in black, and in the latest Korean student fashion style. In an instant, the media and fans swarmed towards them, practically crippling Songshan airport, and the two men, ushered by the security personnel, walked slowly towards and boarded their vehicle, leaving their exhilarated fans. Despite former TVXQ members Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu forming a new group due to contractual issues, their hallyu power was not diminished, and fans continued to follow them wildly.
Ever since the “It’s been a while, How are you?” video clip suddenly appeared, leading everyone to wonder if TVXQ would be coming to Taiwan to meet the fans, and truly, after 3 years, this afternoon TVXQ blitzed their way into Taiwan, and will be holding their fan meeting tomorrow. This event titled “Fan Party 2011 in Taiwan” will see Yunho and Changmin challenging the extreme of two performances in one day. After going through contractual issues and switching from a 5-man group to a 2 man group, the TVXQ appeared in Shanghai for their fan meeting for the first time with their new grouping. On the afternoon of 9 December, Yunho and Changmin did an interview with ent.163.com. When talking about the recording of their Japanese album, Changmin laughed and said that there was a portion of the recording that required whistling, which he insisted on Yunho doing despite Yunho not being able to do it very well. When talking about their private lives which fans are very concerned about, Yunho and Changmin expressed, “In private, when we don’t have too many activities, we listen to music, watch movies and meet up with friends, very much like a normal person. “
Q: What is the difference between performing in Europe/America and Asia?
TVXQ: It’s the same in both Asia as well as Europe/America, no matter where we are, we can feel the passion and love from the fans, which is surprising to us.
Q: When recording the Japanese album “TONE,” were there any interesting episodes?
TVXQ: In our new album, there is a song called “Easy Mind,” and this song includes a portion where Yunho is whistling. Actually, he isn’t very good at whistling, but we insisted on him doing the whistling. This is one of the more meaningful moments that we remember.
Q: The style of this new album is more mature, and has more variety?
TVXQ: As this is a new album that we released after a long time, so there were many people that were very concerned about the album. We are thankful for everybody’s care and concern, and thank them for their support.
Q: Changmin, will you consider composing songs (T/N : vs writing lyrics) in the future?
TVXQ (Changmin) : So far, I haven’t really thought about writing songs, and maybe I just don’t have the talent for composing, so I feel more inclined towards developing in the area of lyric-writing.
Q: Yunho, do you have plans to compose or write lyrics?
TVXQ (Yunho) : Previously, during TVXQ concerts pr SMTown concerts, I’ve performed songs that I composed and wrote myself, so if there is chance and a good song, I hope that I will be able to include it in an album.
Q: What do the Chinese fans mean to you?
TVXQ: Although there isn’t much of a difference between fans in various countries, but they feel something special towards the Chinese fans, and the Chinese fans are always the first to ask after us whenever something happens, so we hope that in the future, fans can continue to show us their love and support.
Q: How are you like in private?
TVXQ: When we don’t have much to do, we listen to music, watch movies, and meet up with friends, very much like a normal person.

[TRANS] 111211 JYJ Kim Jaejoong, China Solo Fan Meeting Concludes Successfully! 1,000 Fans Show Their Support Outside The Location
JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong has once again displayed his long-standing popularity.
On 10 December, Kim Jaejoong held his solo fan meeting at the Shanghai International Gymnastics Center. This fan meeting was organized to thank the fans for their show of love for the SBS drama “Protect the Boss,” and all 4,000 seats for this event were snapped up once ticketing opened, showing the high interest level for this event.
Kim Jaejoong arrived in China via Shanghai’s Hongqiao Airport, and made formal preparations for his fan meeting. This day, over 1,000 fans were gathered to welcome him at the airport, and on the day of the fan meeting itself, not only the 4,000 ticket holders, but about 1,000 fans who were unable to purchase tickets were gathered outside the event location to show their support, and his (Jaejoong’s) popularity could be visibly felt.
At the fan meeting. Kim Jaejoong revealed the behind-the-scene episodes that happened during his appearance in “Protect the Boss,” and also sang the drama OST song that he wrote, “I’ll Protect You.” Aside from this, there was a question and answer session where he selected and replied to questions that had been hand-written by the fans, and he personally made phone calls to fans which were selected by ballot. He also played “cham cham cham” at the event, with all games receiving a great response from the fans.
He said, “I know that there are many people who support me in China. I know that I can’t come here very often, and this is something that I always feel sorry about. However, having come here after a long while, I’m really thankful for the unchanging, passionate love that I have been given. In the future, I will work hard to become an even better actor, and a more charming singer.”
Management company C-JeS said, “Due to Kim Jaejoong’s popularity, “Protect the Boss” has done shockingly well in terms of overseas sales. Aside from China, many other parts of the world have been requesting for interviews and promotional activities.”
The organizer of this fanmeeting said, “Chinese fans did not watch the local broadcast (of “Protect the Boss”) but watched the drama online using SBS’s real time stream, their passion (for the show) evident. Prior to this, Kim Jaejoong was already very popular, and with the charm of his role as “Cha Mu Won,” his popularity exploded. We were surprised that over 1,000 fans who weren’t able to purchase tickets stood outside the location in the freezing cold to show their support.”

The two members shared their first impressions of Singapore, their love for chilli crabs and what they miss doing the most.
They may be one of the biggest stars in K-pop, but what greeted us at the group interview in the function room at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, were two affable and sincere men.
Decked in matching blue military-styled uniforms, TVXQ took questions from the media in a short 20-minute group interview before their fan party.
The duo first talked about their first impressions of our country and told us what they had previously heard of us.
“It’s our first time to Singapore and we had the chance to view the night scenery yesterday. It was really beautiful. The impression is not fully formed because we’ve not performed and met our fans yet. We’ll have a better impression of Singapore and the fans after tonight,” leader Yunho replied.
He added that Singaporean fans had been very welcoming and gave them lots of support.
It’s not difficult to see that the chilli crabs in Singapore had left TVXQ a lasting impression (the duo mentioned it again during the fan party).
When asked if they had the chance to taste any local delicacy, Changmin said, “We’ve tried pepper crabs and chilli crabs last night. We heard that it’s one of the most famous local delicacies here. It was really, really tasty. We know that Singapore is well-known for the seafood, since it’s surrounded by the sea.”
Being one of the top Hallyu stars definitely has its perks, but it has its downsides — the loss of privacy and being “ordinary”, as well as stress.
Changmin shared that the things he missed were travelling with his friends, and hanging out with them and having drinks together. The 23-year-old also reminded that he is already of age to have alcoholic beverages.
Yunho echoed the former’s sentiments, answering a short “same” first in Korean, then in English.
When questioned how they relieve stress, Changmin first answered that he would drink and have tasty food, especially spicy dishes.
On the other hand, Yunho demonstrated his athletic side, saying that he would go for snowballing during winter and in the other seasons, bowling.
Later, the enthusiasm TVXQ showed was evident, when the duo talked about their fans.
While no particular fan ever caught their attention, Yunho spoke on a special and memorable moment they had.
“When we’re performing, our fans would create ‘TVXQ’ or the members’ names with red light sticks. That’s very memorable for us,” he said.
Considering they are already one of the top stars in the Korean music industry, the media wondered what it would be like for them 10 years down the road.
“We’ll probably still be in this industry, doing what we’re doing now. We wish that we could put up such performances by then, but stamina wise, I’m not very sure if we still have the strength,” Changmin replied.
Yunho also pictured themselves doing joint performances with junior singers in the industry, and would probably be involved in individual careers such as acting in various dramas.
However, the pair has no acting projects at the moment.
It was a short interview, but TVXQ displayed their professionalism, candor and sincerity the entire time. The bright-eyed pair spoke in soft and gentle tones, only to raise their voices occasionally to show enthusiasm.
TVXQ may have debuted eight years ago, but the duo felt down-to-earth and that fame did not seem like it had gone over their heads.

TVXQ! Asia Fan Party 2011 (Part 1) 041211
Today seems so surreal. It was just 15 hours back when we were queuing at the stadium and now they’re back at the hotel, but still breathing the Singapore air – our air! (more than the air I breathe~) We reached the Singapore Indoor Stadium around 9.30am and found out that there were a lot of commotion going on for the mosh pit queuing. There were about three groups of people from different queues. At 10am, the guards stepped in and told our group to move to the back of another queue So in the end, we had to go quite far back.
At around 3.15pm, I had to prepare for the Meet & Greet session with Changmin & Yunho. So we grabbed our TVXQ! towels and fanboard (CD also because I thought maybe we could sneak an autograph from them, hehe) and headed to the open space near the SISTIC counter to queue up. We were at the back of the queue (again) but God is good! You’ll know why later ^^ The photography session was such that there were 50 ticket holders and their friends, so that makes 100 of us and we had to be divided into groups of 20 each. They brought us to the waiting room and told us to remain quiet as TVXQ were having their pseudo press conference. My friend and I made friends with other Cassies as we were in the waiting room. And there was a Bigeast in our group! Her name is Kio ^^ She came alone and she couldn’t understand what we were saying but she was smiling and trying her best to communicate with us. Bigeasts, PROUD OF YOU ALWAYS!
There were about 8 of us in the final 5th group because quite a few people didn’t turn up for the meet and greet session (WAE, PEOPLE, WAE?!?!?!). Eventually, they moved 2 to another group and the remaining 6 of us into another group. There were 2 rows in the group, and we were in the first row (First blessing of the day).
We saw the first group return from the photography session and so many of them were crying! I got teary-eyed myself too. Am I really going to see Yunho and Changmin up close? After all these years, am I really going to see Leader-ssi and my beloved maknae? They brought the second and third group in and then it was our group. THEY LET OUR GROUP STAY IN THE ROOM TO WATCH THE OTHER GROUPS HAVE THEIR PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION! (Second blessing of the day)
They had to head backstage while the groups were preparing and arranging their positions and whenever they came out to pose, I kept squealing! Yunho and Changmin were standing at the top of the multi-leveled platform. Then, it was the final group’s turn – us. I was the 5th person in the row and I thought they would make us stand on the bottom row but no, they brought us to the top of the platform and the lady told me, “You need to make space for them, they’ll be standing within the black boxes indicated on the floor.” (Third blessing of the day) I literally went “OMG, I’M STANDING NEXT TO ONE OF THEM?!” Kio (the BigEast) was a Changmin bias and she asked if I could swop with her if Changmin stood next to me, and of course I said okay. Although I love the of them so much, I always wanted the opportunity to be next to our Leader-ssi :’) And it did turn out that Yunho…… STOOD NEXT TO ME. I was in so much shock I couldn’t do anything. I was shaking so hard and I didn’t dare to squeeze with him. But all of a sudden, Yunho squeezed right in and his arm was next to mine for a full 30 SECONDS. I WAS IN SO MUCH BLISS, I WANTED TO CRY SO BADLY. (Fourth blessing of the day) His arm was so warm, he was wearing sleeveless by the way. I wanted to be right next to him forever. Just feeling him right beside me was so blissful, it was like nothing could ever be compared to this. Really. T_T (This sounds weird but I felt his arm hair as well, it is such a blessing to me. I’m sorry I know I sound weird)
Right after they took the photos, I turned around to say thank you to them. I saw Yunho up close. His eyes were so brown, his skin was so flawless. He was just impeccable. A perfect creation by God. Then, I turned to look at Changmin. That boy was smirking away and smiling! Oh good Lord, he was so handsome. He bowed and said “Kamsahamnida” to me and I was so dazed that I replied “谢谢!” (thank you in chinese). Changmin is so good-looking in real life and Yun – his aura was so strong. Truly our leader of DBSK <3 Yunho said “Thank you” in English and he clasped his hands together and bowed. They are so polite, so humble. Even though they’re at the top, they still never fail to greet us. Thank you for making this day the best day of my life, Changmin and Yunho-ah. Thank you so much. I’ll continue part 2 of the fan party tomorrow ^^ Contributed by: @Rynejae (Twitter) shared by: sharingyoochun.net
