Pictures, which compare male idol stars’ appearances, were recently released and drew a lot of attention.

On January 3, an online community posted pictures with the caption, “Average appearance of male idol stars.” Each of the thirteen pictures represents each boy group’s appearance. A person, who uploaded the pictures, compounded the members’ faces of each group.

Pictures of Big Bang, 2PM, and FT Island look like the members of each group: Seungri, Jang Woo Young, and Lee Hong Ki.

People responded: “JYJ looks so handsome.” “This is why they are idol stars. The average appearances look handsome as well.” “The person who compounded thirteen members of Super Junior must have worked hard.”

On January 1st Kim Jaejoong posted on his twitter “In the middle of playing Star Wars” along with several pictures.

In the pictures Kim Jaejoong was having fun playing with toys in his house along with a Star Wars lightsaber. Because he was at home Jaejoong showed a comfortable image with his hair tied up.

In reaction to the photos, netizens commented “He is having fun playing alone”, “it is cute that he is doing this while at home”, and “I envy his house even after just one glance: I would like to hang out there.”

JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong revealed a photo taken together with his co-stars from “Protect The Boss”.

On  the afternoon of 1 January, Jaejoong tweeted on his personal account “With Senior Kim Young Ok and Ms Wang Ji Hye^^” and uploaded an image with this tweet. The image showed Kim Jaejoong together with Kim Young Ok and Wang Ji Hye, taken from the “SBS Drama Awards” which had been broadcast on 31 December. Kim Young Ok was holding the lifetime achievement  trophy that she had been awarded.

In the SBS Drama awards, Kim Jaejoong as well as Wang Ji Hye and Jung Yumi were all awarded the “New Star Award”, and Kim Young Ok was awarded the lifetime achievement award. Netizens who saw this said “The drama may be over, but ‘Boss’ lives on forever!” “It’s great that they look close” “I want to see these three in a drama again” and other responses.

[News] 111231 Winners from the 2011 MBC Drama Awards

The 2011 KBS Song Festival wasn’t the only end of the year show that was aired on December 30th. The 2011 MBC Drama Awards, as well as the 2011 SBS Entertainment Awards were also held on the 30th of December. While the KBS Song Festival was full of performances, the 2011 MBC Drama Awards honored this year’s best actors and actresses.

“The Greatest Love” came out as the winning drama on MBC this year, gathering seven different awards! “Sparkling” came up with five awards while “Indomitable Daughters-in-Law” ended up with four. Idol stars Park Yoochun, Hyomin, and BEAST’s Kikwang all won awards for their respective dramas this year.
