TVXQ topped the charts with their new album, Catch Me, again this week.

TVXQ released a new album, Catch Me, on September 26. Receiving a lot of attention, TVXQ have topped the charts for two consecutive weeks.

Appearing on several music shows last week, TVXQ impressed viewers with a distinctive performance and a charismatic look. The choreography of “Catch Me,” created by the world-renowned choreographer Tony Testa, is especially popular now.

TVXQ also attracted a lot of attention by appearing on the preview for the next episode of SBS TV’s Running Man on October 7.

[TRANS] 121009 TVXQ Holds “Catch Me” Commemorative Cover Dance Contest

TVXQ will be holding a cover dance contest for their fans.

On 9 October, according to management agency SM Entertainment, there will be a cover dance contest to celebrate the release of TVXQ’s new song “Catch Me” on 24th of last month. The choreography of “Catch Me” is a vibrant dance that has also been called the “hulk dance.” This contest will have two categories, for choreography and vocals, and those who wish to participate should do a recording of their own dance and vocal cover of “catch me” in a video and enter this contest via everysing.com.

The results of this contest will be revealed on 7 November, and winners will be invited to the “TVXQ Live World Tour ~ Catch Me”, and could also win special presents such as signed TVXQ albums, handprinting and signed photographs.

Currently, TVXQ is gaining much popularity with their song “Catch Me.”

The music director of “Live! With Kelly & Michael” is a fan of TVXQ

The music director of a famous American morning talk show, ABC’s ”Live! With Kelly & Michael” is known to be a fan of TVXQ.

TVXQ’s new single, “Catch Me” was used as the opening song on October 1st on the program. The MCs even danced to this song during the chorus portion of “Catch Me”.

It is unheard of for a new song that the singers barely started to be active on TV in Korea to be played through a famous talk show.

According to a person in charge of publicity of ABC said, “The music director of ‘Kelly Show’ first came across TVXQ on iTunes and loved it, and ended up using it as the opening song for the show,” and, “He is very happy the response was so great after the broadcast.” The host of the program, Kelly, actually mentioned about TVXQ’s new song on her twitter.

Not only is Psy’s “Gangnam Style” bringing a worldwide sensation, but K-Pop is being introduced to the whole world in real-time through iTunes and other global media websites.

“Live! With Kelly And Michael” is a morning talk show that is aired every weekday morning at 9:00 AM in America, hosted by Kelly and Michael, a former football player.

With their comeback rapidly approaching, TVXQ has set out to tease fans with various teaser photos, a spectacular video teaser, and now the highlight medley for their upcoming album ‘Catch Me‘!

As reported earlier, the highlight medley contains a sample of the 11 tracks included on the album:

This is a great song and video. The imagery and choreography are fantastic and the music has a techno beat and a hint of Indian influence.  The lyrics are expressive and macho as usual.  Great Job Yunho and Changmin   🙂
