An online music store attached to TVXQ official facebook is now open! SM Entertainment has started to co-operate with Soribada, which is an online music streaming shop, and installed a music store on TVXQ’s facebook. From now on, you can purchase and download TVXQ’s Korean songs at TVXQ official facebook’s music store! According to Soribada, a benefit of purchasing songs at this official facebook music store is that, your purchases will be reflected on Korean music charts!

At TVXQ online music store, you can purchase one particular song, or purchase an entire album at once at a discounted rate. You can also switch between different albums by clicking the album icons at the bottom. And of course, one can also check out TVXQ news at their official facebook wall!

Tohoshinki’s Changmin, following Yunho, has achieved a great feat as an actor. His first starring role in a Korean drama, “Paradise Ranch Full Version DVD BOX I” and “Paradise Ranch Full Version DVD BOX II” (On sale 2 November, released by Avex Entertainment, registered initial sales of 9,571 copies and 9,504 copies respectively, taking the No. 1 and No. 2 spots on the Oricon weekly DVD ranking chart drama category (No. 4 & No. 5 in the overall category), for the week ending 14 November.

On the week ending 28 June, Tohoshinki had already taken the top 2 spots in the same category with group leader Yunho’s drama “No Limit~Heading To The Ground~ Full Version DVD Box I” and “No Limit~Heading To The Ground~ Full Version DVD Box II” (No. 2 & No.3 in the overall category,) both members achieving top positions in the drama category, as actors.

In the Oricon Weekly DVD Rankings (Week ending 14 November) no.3 position was taken by 2PM’s live DVD “1st JAPAN TOUR 2011 “Take off” in MAKUHARI MESSE” which saw initial sales of 10.000 copies, exceeding the highest record of 4th place set by their previous DVD “Hottest～2PM 1st MUSIC VIDEO COLLECTION & The History～” (On sale 24 November 2010).

Tohoshinki has taken the no.1 spot on the Taiwanese album charts.

Taiwan’s MTV24 reported that “Tohoshinki’s new album “TONE” exceeded 240,000 copies in sales, and was the top seller for the week of 15-22 October. They said, “This album has three different covers in red, blue and yellow. Each album has 6 photos using different concepts. If you put all three albums together, you can see “It’s My Way.”” and also “The songs in the album blend both members’ powerful performance skills with their exceptional vocals, igniting its popularity.”

On 29 October, Tohoshinki will be released their photobook with the concept of “Two mature men’s holiday,” named “El Sol.” After completing their Asian fan party tour, they will be holding a nationwide concert tour in Japan next year.

JYJ showed off their immense power as they topped Gaon’s September charts for album sales.

According to Gaon Charts on the 14th, JYJ’s first Korean album ‘In Heaven’, which was released on the 28th, sold a total of 165,000 copies in September.

This is the first time that Gaon Charts has released an official sales count for JYJ. JYJ beat KARA, Super Junior and INFINITE and topped the overall charts for September.

JYJ haven’t been able to have their albums count on the Gaon Charts because their distribution company A&G Modes has not been a member company of Gaon. The final results were revealed after discussions were made with the distribution company over the sales count and how it would be posted on the charts.

Ahead of this, Gaon Charts revealed through their official homepage that, “We are currently coming to an agreement with JYJ’s distribution company A&G Modes regarding their data supply, and their album sales from September will start being reflected on the charts, as early from the 10th of this month.”

JYJ’s ‘In Heaven’ has currently sold over 350,000 copies. A representative of JYJ’s agency stated, “The album has been sold out nationwide as it sold over 165,000 copies in the first three days,” and “They’ve sold over 350,000 copies till now and we expect them to keep hitting record-breaking sales.”

[NEWS] Other versions of JYJ’s album “In Heaven” might not have been counted on Oricon chart except Red & Black versions

It was reported that there is a big possibility that the amount sold of JYJ’s album “In Heaven” on Oricon Album Ranking chart was counted separated with the real amount of albums sold at CD shops. It might be possible that the amount sold is much more during the 2 weeks, and this issue has been gathering attention. Their album has been ranked 8th after 2 weeks, and this is a jump from the rank and amount sold compared to their last work. However, when we do comparison, there’s a possibility that some packages of the album weren’t counted. The real amount sold of the album might has been much greater.

■ From being excluded from Oricon to a new work after half a year
It was recorded that JYJ’s “In Heaven” ranked 11th on Oricon chart with the initial sale amount of 7,000 copies. The album has been making records on different online stores, ranking number 1 for the amount of orders received, thus this modest result makes their fans doubt about the result.

One issue that has caught attention is that JYJ’s DVD that was released in March wasn’t counted on Oricon chart because it was “related to the revitalization of the market.” Because of that reason, there have been doubts that the album this time would also not be counted on the chart.

■ A jump of rank and amount sold from the first week
After 2 weeks, in addition to the Red, Blue and Brown versions, the Black version of the album was also released. For that reason, the album jumped from 11th place to 8th place. The total amount of album sold also jumped from 7,000 copies to 19,000 copies. However, with that result, fans started to complain that “the amount of album sold should have been more than that.”

■ Only 2 of the 4 versions were counted?
Is JYJ’s album really selling well? When we compare the data from Oricon, a surprising truth comes to surface.

Looking up the data of “In Heaven” on Oricon’s paid site “You Taiju”, among the 4 versions of the album, only 2 versions are registered. The 2 versions that are registered are Red(AGMK10001*SCM, released on 9/23) and Black(AMGK10001B*SCM, released on 10/5).

From that result, there’s a possibility that only Red version of the album was counted for the first week, and only the Red & Black versions were counted for the second week. In other words, this means that there’s a possibility that the Blue and Brown versions weren’t counted on Oricon chart at all.

Because the amount sold of other 2 versions wasn’t covered, the result on Oricon chart is different from the real amount sold at stores. We’ve asked this question before last week, but what is the real amount of JYJ’s album sold?

NEWS  JYJ  First Album “In Heaven” Qualifies For Gaon Charts!

Following negotiations, JYJ’s releases, including their recently-released first album “IN HEAVEN”, are now qualified to be ranked on Gaon Charts.

According to an affiliate of Gaon, “The distributor, A&G Mods, was not a member firm of the Gaon Chart and so tracking (the copies sold for the chart) was impossible. Currently we are in the middle of final negotiations over the number of copies sold and reflection of that number on the chart.”

Also, an official statement was released via Gaon’s homepage, “The negotiations with JYJ’s (album) distributor, A&G Mods, is currently ongoing. If we are early, from October 10th the data for the copies sold during the month of September will be reflected (on their chart position).”

The Gaon Chart bases its rankings not only on sales figures provided by album distrubutors, but also from M2M, an album distribution center. C-Jes Entertainment, JYJ’s agency, was not a Gaon member, nor did it distribute albums through M2M. Due to this, Gaon could not track JYJ’s sales figures until an agreement with JYJ and C-Jes was made.

C-Jes has recently reported that “IN HEAVEN” has sold over 350,000 copies as of early October, and it is at fifth place for male groups, and sixth place overall on Hanteo’s January-September chart.

These record-breaking sales were expected from the start. Orders flooded in from the 10th and they recorded pre-orders of 300,000 copies. Though the album’s distribution company is working at a fast pace to fill the orders that have been placed, it’s actually running low on albums to distribute.

 This explosive reaction is also occurring online. All of the songs of the album, including ‘In heaven’, the title song by Kim Jaejoong, and the pre-released ‘Get Out’, ranked high on various music charts.

C-JeS Entertainment stated, “We are currently pushing the distribution company to fill the pre-orders,” and “We will soon begin printing an additional set of albums.”

The in-store release of JYJ‘s new album “In Heaven” has forced some stores to open a separate counter in order to handle the sheer volume of JYJ sales.

Before releasing their album on September 27th, JYJ sold 300,000 units in pre-orders alone. While many were expecting “In Heaven” to be a popular item, no one foresaw the level of demand that flooded record stores, forcing the decision to set up a separate sales counter just for JYJ.

In a Hot Tracks store, a counter with the sign ‘Only for JYJ Purchases’ can be read along with stacks of boxes containing the “In Heaven” CDs for faster and easier purchases. Meanwhile, online stores like Synnara Records had to create a separate page for JYJ purchases on their website due to the rush of visitors purchasing the album.

Netizens commented, “They even have their own counter”, “This is only the beginning! JYJ fighting!”, “This makes me so proud, gogogo to purchase the album”, and “JYJ is the best!”

News: 110428 TVXQ sold the most albums in the first quarter of 2011

TVXQ has been crowned as the artists with the most album sales for the first quarter of 2011!

On April 28th, Gaon Chart released the album sales figuresfrom January through March of 2011. Results showed that TVXQ placed first with over 200,000 in total sales. Gaon’s representatives stated, “The first quarter of 2011 met with the album releases of TVXQ and Big Bang, both of whom have been away from the industry for a long time.”

The rankings and the number of album copies sold are as follows:
