[News] JYJ’s Jaejoong Auctions His Necklace For Charity
JYJ‘s Jaejoong has once again proven his star power, as his personal accessories drew in an astounding $1,311.00 USD for charity!
SBS held a charity auction from August 3rd to September 30th with goods belonging to the ‘Protect the Boss‘ cast members.
Jaejoong donated his necklace and bracelets and the bid began at around $172 USD. In a matter of eight days, the bid rose to over $900, and finally sold at $1,311.00 USD. Reportedly, it’s one of the highest-priced items ever sold at a charity auction, more than doubling Jo Hyun Jae‘s $620.00 USD T-shirt.
SBS will soon continue their charity auction by including belongings from the cast members from ‘Living Large‘, ‘The Musical‘, and ‘Deep-Rooted Tree‘.

JYJ member Kim Jaejoong revealed parts of his room.
On the 11th, Kim Jaejoong wrote in Japanese through his Twitter, “(The shorts) I got from Fukutaro, isn’t it too cute?” and uploaded four photos.
First, Kim Jaejoong wrote as he was bout to wear the shorts, “I know, I’ll just try it once.” He doesn’t seemed to be satisfied after wearing and continued to say, “Not wearing this!”, and he threw the shorts aside.
In the last photo, the one who wore the shorts again was not Kim Jaejoong but another guy and it was hilarous.
However, as compared to Kim Jaejoong’s funny photos, fans were more concerned with the interior design of the room. As known, Kim Jaejoong moved into this estate which he bought for 30 billion KRW in July and the marble flooring and the unique modernized lighting attracted fans’ attention.
Netizens who saw the photos left various reaction messages, “The pajamas pants was overlooked in the living room!”, “Wanna look around there!”, “What a luxurious home~”, “(He) wore it in the end!”, “If it was the past, it will be taken from the front view!”, “The four photos are so funny~” etc.
Additionally, JYJ have donated 6 billion won to Japan Disaster Fund recently and it was used to rebuild recreational areas, making it a focal point.

Actress Choi Kang Hee (34) highly praised Kim Jaejoong(25)’s acting.
In an interview with TV Report on the 5th, Choi Kang Hee said, “Isn’t he such a great actor?” as soon as a question about Kim Jaejoong was posed to her.
The actress took on the role of No Eun Seol in the recently ended SBS TV drama ‘Protect the Boss’ and worked alongside Ji Sung as Cha Ji Hun and Kim Jaejoong as Cha Mu Won.
Kim Jaejoong, for whom ‘Protect the Boss’ was his first domestic drama, was praised by many for his stable acting during the entire drama. Even Choi Kang Hee, his acting senior, didn’t hold back on her praise for him.
Choi Kang Hee said, “Jaejoong’s personality is so different from Cha Mu Won’s in real life that it made me think that he would have been more comfortable playing Cha Ji Hun,” and “When I first received the script, I thought that Cha Mu Won was the hardest role to take on. But when I heard that a rookie would be playing the part, I found myself thinking of the immense amount of pressure that was placed on Jaejoong’s shoulders. It’s a role that even I would worry a lot about. But he just took off running from the start. He was really good, even when he had just received his script that day, and I was surprised.“
She also reminisced and added, “Even after we had a run-through, people were really worried out of their concern for him. But I had a good feeling about him. So after the run-through, I walked up to the director and told him, ‘I think if you just leave him be, he’ll be great’,” and “I thought it would do him more harm than good if Jaejoong was told how to talk and walk as Cha Mu Won, so we just let him be and he did really well. I think he’s naturally gifted at understanding emotions.“
Emphasizing that, “I’ve never once felt worried about Jaejoong,” Choi Kang Hee smiled as she sad, “Jaejoong didn’t get tense on location and he seemed at ease with himself. Ji Sung and I have been acting for a long time, so we automatically know what kind of acting works for dramas. Although Jaejoong was a rookie, he would unexpectedly crank out such great scenes and I found that so amazing. So our female editors all fell for Jaejoong.“

Kim Jaejoong alarmed fans when he announced that he would leave Twitter if hackers do not leave his account alone.

NEWS JYJ First Album “In Heaven” Qualifies For Gaon Charts!
Following negotiations, JYJ’s releases, including their recently-released first album “IN HEAVEN”, are now qualified to be ranked on Gaon Charts.
According to an affiliate of Gaon, “The distributor, A&G Mods, was not a member firm of the Gaon Chart and so tracking (the copies sold for the chart) was impossible. Currently we are in the middle of final negotiations over the number of copies sold and reflection of that number on the chart.”
Also, an official statement was released via Gaon’s homepage, “The negotiations with JYJ’s (album) distributor, A&G Mods, is currently ongoing. If we are early, from October 10th the data for the copies sold during the month of September will be reflected (on their chart position).”
The Gaon Chart bases its rankings not only on sales figures provided by album distrubutors, but also from M2M, an album distribution center. C-Jes Entertainment, JYJ’s agency, was not a Gaon member, nor did it distribute albums through M2M. Due to this, Gaon could not track JYJ’s sales figures until an agreement with JYJ and C-Jes was made.
C-Jes has recently reported that “IN HEAVEN” has sold over 350,000 copies as of early October, and it is at fifth place for male groups, and sixth place overall on Hanteo’s January-September chart.

Group JYJ’s European Tour Is Currently Receiving Explosive Attention From K-Pop Fans At The Site
JYJ has already surprised concert staff by selling 80% of the tickets for their 5000 seat solo concert at Poble Espanyol in Spain in just three days. The group has again proved their European popularity with German fans crashing the server for the ticketing site as soon as tickets went on sale for their concert in Berlin to be held in November.

Upon hearing that the ticket sales are flourishing like this, we’re full of excitement for the concerts we’ll hold with the European fans.”
JYJ has also been invited for the Spanish manga fair that gathers over 60,000 people that come to attend the event. Through the performance in this festival, JYJ plans to present their exclusive charms to the Spanish press and the west European public.
