Our dear Mr. Kim Junsu is continuing to thrill audience after audience in his depiction of Jun, a Korean soldier who falls in love and marries a Vietnamese woman during the Vietnam War. They are separated but continue to love one another. After 20 years–Jun has lost a wife in America, but gains a daughter. With a musical score by Frank Wildhorn, this marvelous musical is bringing people literally to tears. Keep Fighting, Junsu. Momma Cha

Kim Junsu and Kim Junho have an attentive mother. It is probably not the easiest job to still be raising two world travelers. I can imagine that some days are rather rough–while others are enlightening. Zunoxiahmom has been twittering away, posting candid pictures of her children for us to share while vacationing on Jeju Island. We look forward to more, Zunoxiahmom. Momma Cha

Hi Folks.
This was just too precious to pass up. The most candid interview with JYJ since they became a threesome. I laughed at all of the antics, joking, and camaradie between Junsu, Jaejoong, and Yoochun. These three love each other so dearly and it shows in so many ways,
Poor Junsu. Whenever he started talking there was so much rebuttal that the dear man kept changing his statements. Peer pressure, indeed. The life of the maknae.
JYJ was relaxed, responsive, and the kisses answers were so precious. Stay young guys, and never marry or consort just to produce a baby for someone else, even parents. Take your time and let it be when you are ready.
Love You. Momma Cha
JYJ will be featured on MBN Entertainment Magazine (VIP Star) Jaejoong is so sweet. When asked about his favorite type of kiss he answered that he would like to kiss his wife in the bathtub. So sweet, but obviously Junsu considered it a bit mature for younger audiences. Discretion is good, June. Momma Cha
Keep it clean sweetie
The type of kiss that JYJ’s Kim Junsu* says he prefers is a bathtub kiss. [T/N: the article says Kim Junsu, but could it be a typo? It should be Kim Jaejoong?]
On the 11th, JYJ (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) will appear on MBN ‘Entertainment Magazine (VIP Stars).’ In a recent interview with VIP Entertainment Magazine, these members mentioned the type of kisses they each like.
In particular, Kim Jaejoong said, “I want to do a bathtub kiss…with my wife after I marry with bubbles in the tub…” At that moment, Kim Junsu interrupted saying, “This broadcast cannot become ‘over 19′” [T/N: anyone under 19 years old wouldn’t be allowed to see this] and cleaned up the situation.
In addition, the members revealed their ideal girlfriend types: they attracted attention for the unique qualifications they talked about, which ranged from girls who are homemakers to someone their parents would approve of.
The show will be aired on the 11th at 12:30 pm.

Hi Everyone.
I finally received my copy of Music Essay–Their Rooms. It was so beautifully packaged that I did not want to open it–but, open it I did to discover a quality product brimming with wonderful goodies for us all. Our guys own music and lyrics, tasteful pictures, a calendar (I was so grateful that so many items were in English) 🙂 and Jaejoong, Junsu, and Yoochun’s own personal essay contributions. Our mancubs are wonders, and I believe that they love us as much as we love them. Will I write in the pages? I’ll have to see. Momma Cha
What a beautiful story. It reminds me of David and Bathsheba and Bathsheba’s husband Urriah.
A much different ending to a tragic story. This is so beautiful it defies words to explain it. I listened with tears streaming down my face. I pray for strength for Junsu. Momma Cha
“It was sad and I cried so much. It’s such a touching production.”
Audience members of the first performance of ‘Tears of Heaven’, the global project musical featuring Kim Junsu (TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu), were busy wiping tears away as they left the theater.
The first performance of ‘Tears of Heaven’ was held at 8pm on February 1st at the National Theater in JangChoong-dong, Seoul. All 1500 seats were sold out and fans of Xiah Junsu who were unable to secure tickets flocked to the theater to see if they could buy scalper’s tickets. But it was close to impossible to get even those as the show had already been sold out for more than 20 days.
‘Tears of Heaven’ is a large-scale musical centered around a love story that blooms amidst the war in Vietnam anbd it targets the global market. A total of 3 years and 6 months were put into the preparation of the musical and five countries (Hungary, USA, Canada, Czech Republic, Japan) were visited in the process.

The problems continue between companies such as SM and their artists. This article does seem to be written without a bias. It offers general information that may help our guys in the long haul.
No one is unsympathetic as to the costs of training entertainers–it is just my opinion that if the companies intiate a contract with those entertainers, there should be an effort made on the part of the company to provide sufficiently for their artist’s human needs and, yes, dreams and desires. After all, popularity can decline over the years, and at the end of the contract period who wants to be left with nothing to show for all of their hard work.
Not only that, but most companies retain the rights to their artists work while with the company, so the artists can end up without any viable thing to call their own. I love JYJCY too much to want that for them or for any other artist. Keep Praying and Keep Fighting.
Momma Cha
Surh Jung-min, Music Correspondent
In the world of South Korean pop music, dubbed K-pop, there have been a string of disputes between popular idol groups like TVXQ, Super Junior and Kara and their management companies over their exclusive contracts.
It has ceaselessly been pointed out that there are a considerable number of problematic articles in the exclusive contracts signed in the entertainment sector. Most typical are the long-term contracts of 10 years or more. Also highlighted as problems are contract articles that violate the entertainers’ human rights, some for example that control their private lives. Also problematic is the way companies use unreasonable fines in the case of breach of contract as a tool to forcibly tie entertainers to their companies.
Despite these disadvantageous conditions, most aspiring entertainers sign these deals without much objection. This is because when there are so many aspiring entertainers, it is difficult for them to refuse. There are many instances, however, when entertainers change their mind after becoming famous. They demand to be treated in a manner worthy of their fame. There are also many instances in which other management companies try to lure entertainers over by offering better conditions.
Management companies protest that because they must invest a great deal of initial capital to make just one singer, long-term contracts and steep fines for breaking a contract are a minimum of protection. One music industry official said if a new musician releases an album, a management company must spend a significant amount of money on promotion, from 100 million Won ($89,662) to 300 or 400 million Won is the norm. In the case of major management companies, the initial investment can be even greater. Teaching dance, singing and foreign languages, taught from the time prior to their debut with foreign markets in mind, requires even more time and money.
The problem is that even if the costs are great, it is difficult to make money. Broadcast appearance fees are a pittance, and a great deal of money is required for coordinators and backup dancers to ensure frequent appearances. Profits from albums are also not huge. Even endorsements and events, a major revenue stream for signers, do not result in significant earnings for new singers.
“Even if a new singer reaches the top of the charts, he or she does not bring in much money, so for producers, three or five years will not cut it,” said one management company official. “With the exception of some big management companies, most producers are struggling.”
Despite this, many producers are still jumping into music. They look to hit the jackpot, as the music business is a model “high risk, high reward” business. With so many would-be singers, it is not easy to reform these outdated exclusive contracts and industry structures. Experts say the situation must be improved gradually by improving the profit structure and getting management companies to view their singers not simply as means to make money but as partners.
There have been loud calls to burst the bubble of promotional costs by changing the broadcast-centered singer promotion system. Broadcast companies should try to discover good music rather than dancing to management company promotion, and the public, too, should become an active consumer that looks for good music rather than just the music played on the radio.
Another basic change, too, would be to improve the digital music profit distribution system, in which music site and mobile telecommunication companies take an excessive share, to produce a market structure where performers could make money from their music alone, not advertisements and events. The Fair Trade Commission and other government bodies urgently need to keep continuous watch and make efforts to improve the situation so that unfair acts do not take place in the digital music market or in exclusive contracts with management companies.

Phew! Where to start. Jaejoong’s 16 question interview is so refreshing and so charming. He talks about everything from networking and establishing new friendships, to dieting and exercise, to desiring respect from fans, and on and on. I am so happy to see him so open with his thoughts. it gives us insight into his world and how he perceives it–including us. This man is intelligent, innovative, and a blessing. The same goes for Yoochun, Junsu, Changmin , and Yunho. We are discovering the reasons why these five young men did and are still doing so well at their chosen professions. All of them are innovative thinkers, and they all want a future with family. I want that for them also. Momma Cha
Kim Junsu. You’ve done it again, my dear.
Ticket sales to “Tears of Heaven” soaring out of sight in five minutes flat rewarded by Interpark Golden Ticket Award given for the most ticket power for a musical performance, hmmmmm?
How can Korean entertainment executives simply ignore not only this dynamic young man but also his fellow JYJ members. It’s called “biting off your nose to spite your face”. I guess the concept is ignoring them until they go away? I don’t think that this will be the case, folks. Millions of fans and supporters say that they are the bomb!!! Wake up, Y’all.
To give credit where credit is due–this ability to inspire ticket sales is shared by Jung Yunho.
Addendum: the newest set of tickets for Junsu’s Tears of Heaven sold out in two minutes. Reiteration–I pray that they are going to the fans not the black market.
Momma Cha
Lots of good things going on.
Samples of Jaejoong’s essays from “Music Essay–Their Rooms” are now out. Intriquing could be the term. I am looking forward to receiving my 224 page copy, and listening to JYJ’s personally composed music .
Junsu is recording some music from “Tears of Heaven” on CD and included will be music from Mozart. This is great as everything out there has been fancam. We have been grateful for those who brought this much to us and it will be great to hear clear copies of Mozart.
Changmin’s “Paradise Ranch” is much anticipated and there are beautiful photos out there. It airs January 24th, 2011 on Channel SBS. Hoping for the best for you, Changmin. Check out the sidebar for visuals. Momma Cha
