Trans] 110908 Actress Kim Jung Eun Narrates For JYJ’s Title Song ‘In Heaven’
Actress Kim Jung Eun narrated for ‘In heaven’, the title song of JYJ’s first Korean album. Written by JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, ‘In heaven’ will feature a short narration by Kim Jung Eun at the beginning of the song in which she says, ‘I love you’. Kim Jaejoong wanted the short but emotional narration to be included in the song and expressed to his agency that he wanted an actress with a nice voice for the job. In a phone conversation with 10Asia, C-JeS Entertainment stated, “After hearing Kim Jaejoong’s opinion, we began searching for the appropriate actress and luckily, Kim Jung Eun readily agreed to narrate. The members of JYJ were happy with the end product and they were grateful towards the actress.“
Also, it was revealed that it was the decision of the three members to have Kim Junsu appear in the ‘In Heaven’ music video. JYJ’s agency stated, “Kim Jaejoong said that he’d rather have Park Yoochun or Kim Junsu appear in the music video because they were already using a song that he had written. The three members agreed that Kim Junsu best fit the character of the synopsis so the decision was made.” Kim Junsu hasn’t made an official debut as an actor through a movie or drama, but he has been continuously working hard on his acting skills through the musicals ‘Mozart!’ and ‘Tears of Heaven’. Kim Junsu acted alongside Song Ji Hyo as lovers and it was stated that they received a positive response while filming for the music video. The full version of JYJ’s ‘In heaven’ music video will be released on the 15th.
[Trans] 110907 “Let’s Get JYJ On Music Bank!” Fans Are On The Move
With JYJ(Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu)’s first Korean album set to be released soon, fans have begun a movement to get the group on broadcasted music programs.
It has been found that JYJ’s fans plan to buy their albums at stores that are included in the album sales count of KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’. Music Bank’s K-Chart Album Sales points are given according to the rankings from 1 to 100 on Hanteo Charts’ weekly nationwide album sales as well as the weekly album sales from Korea’s two major album distributors Synnara and Hottracks. Each album is then ranked proportionally to the total sales and given points accordingly.
But there is separate reason why JYJ’s fans are focusing on ‘Music Bank’. It is because KBS stated in May that JYJ were unable to appear on ‘Music Bank’ as they did not have an official album released at the time, which is the criteria for singers who wish to appear on the show. This means that when JYJ release their new album, there is no official reason that KBS can give to reject JYJ.
At the time of the announcement, C-JeS Entertainment stated, “We thank KBS for their official statement that says they will allow JYJ to appear on their music program when they release an official album,” and “Even just by looking at the recent events, anyone can surmise that the artiste can’t help but be in the weaker position as their appearances on broadcasted programs are blocked for various reasons.”
The upcoming album will contain songs that are composed by the members and were first released during JYJ’s world tour that began after they dropped their first worldwide album ‘The Beginning’ last October.
The title song ‘In heaven’ is a sad R&B ballad that is written by Kim Jaejoong and the album will consist of ten tracks that include ‘Get Out’ and ‘You’re’.
[[Trans] 110909 JYJ’s Junsu Supports Home For Woman Who Lost House In Fire
Thank You Junsu
Popular Korean group JYJ’s member Kim Junsu has participated in the UN-established ADRA Korea in the “House of Love” project.
On 7 September, ADRA Korea celebrated the moving-in ceremony of the “House of Love” project sponsored by Kim Junsu, at the new house for a woman in Paju, Gyeonggi-do.
In October last year, the woman who lives with her grandchildren lost her home to a fire. Until now, she has been surviving with the help of her fellow residents.
For this occasion, the house that was built with Junsu’s help is a 59.504 square meter wooden home which started construction on 21 June, and was completed with the help of 70 volunteers.
Also, Kim Junsu has been financially supporting ADRA Korea since 2008, and all the donations have gone towards continuing the “House of Love” project across the nation.
Well, the last episode of “Scent of A Woman’ is over. I fully expected Yeon Jae to be taken away from her family and loved ones, and us, but to my surprise–the writers decided to leave it in our hands as to the outcome. The ending is fraught not with angst as much as with hope. There is hope, if we choose to embrace it, that somehow a miracle can occur and our hero and heroine can remain together, marry, and raise a family. After all, that was Yeon Jae’s hearts desire from the beginning of this drama.
We all learned early-on that this was not a typical drama. It is adult material; not designed for children, and is really a melodrama in it’s intensity. Our own Kim Junsu played a pivotal role in this drama, and listening to his soothing voice sing “You Are So Beautiful’ made this drama so much more bearable. I was happy to see changes in everyone’s character through the course of this drama, and I rejoiced to see Ji Wook stand up to his responsibilities as a loved one and a son.
Lee Dong Wook played his role as a ‘straight man’ with no exaggerated moves or emotions. He serves as a steady shoulder to rely on and a tender heart that cares deeply for Yeon Jae. He denies her nothing that she asks and only lives for her comfort.
In the course of time, Yeon Jae manages to heal wounds and to build bridges
to support all those around her, including her ‘rival’, Se Kyeong. Seo Hyo Rim (SKKS) is an excellent actress who matures through her own heart struggles through this drama.
This drama is one that will touch lives for years to come, and serves as a reminder to those of us who have lived through the attack of cancer, that grace and hope through God are ever present at our door.
