[INFO] JYJ Fans Seek A Collective Dispute Resolution

“JYJ Fans Seek a Collective Dispute Mediation”

We, worldwide JYJ fans, sustained serious damages from the sudden and unexplainable cancellation of JYJ’s TV appearance in Jeju Island scheduled on July 20, 2011 by KBS-Jeju (Korea Broadcasting System- Jeju). Those who made arrangements to actually visit Jeju Island to see the performance of JYJ incurred substantial financial damages during this process. We, hereby, plan to pursue an official restitution for these damages. We believe that KBS and others who are responsible for using deceptive advertising, bait and switch, and breach of implied contract by canceling it four days prior to the event should pay for consumers’ damages with sincere apologies. We plan to use a “collective dispute mediation” in Korea and file a official complaint with Korean Consumer Agency.

1. Why Consumer Collective Dispute Mediation?

In Korea, when a group of consumers sustain the same or similar type of injuries, they have a right to request the Consumer Settlement Commission for a collective resolution of dispute since the Framework Act on Consumers became effective in March of 2007. The collective dispute resolution is more cost effective and faster than class action lawsuits as there will be no fees incurred to consumers and it saves time when a representative is selected for the group. There is always a possibility that the outcome of mediation is not successful. Additionally, this claim covers direct financial losses not the emotional pains and sufferings of consumers. However, we will try our best to represent the rights of JYJ fans (consumers).

2. How This Works?

•We need at least 50 consumers who can prove their financial damages such as cancellation fees, airline tickets, lodgings, rental car, and any other direct costs related to the travel arrangements from the cancellation of JYJ’s scheduled appearance.
•A representative will be selected from the victims.
•We file a complaint, supporting evidence, and power of attorney through the Korea Consumer Agency.

3. Who Can Participate?

If you experienced and could prove financial losses from the cancellation of JYJ’s Jeju appearance on July 20, 2011, you can and should participate. Both Koreans and non Koreans can participate. If you think you are eligible, please send us an email at jyjjejuconsumer@gmail.com. In the email, please include your name, contact information, and types and estimated costs of financial loss. In the mean time, please gather the supporting evidence to prove these losses. Once we identify the victims and estimated total amount, we will get back to you for power of attorney and supporting documents. A representative will be selected from the victims. Visit our blog, http://jyjfan.egloos.com/ for more information and updates.

Your participation is very important. For more information about collective dispute resolution, view the Frame Act on Consumers at the website of Fair Trade Commission of Korea. We are going to file this claim through the Korea Consumer Agency as this collective dispute mediation request should come from consumer organizations, government, or Korea Consumer Agency not from individuals. Please do not send the documents yet to protect your privacy.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact jyjjejuconsumers@gmail.com or visit http://jyjfan.egloos.com/.

[Trans] 110727 Stars Share Their Maintenance Products, To Beat The Summer Heat

Even idol stars, when faced with the blazing summer heat will inevitably lose strength. With a schedule actively packed with television appearances, commercials and magazines in a day, they are bound to lose their appetite, and become weaker. Artists have harder work schedules than most people, so what is their secret to maintaining their pale complexion in the middle of summer? Let us start by studying the types of nutritional products that artists who are losing strength like to eat.

JYJ, who cannot be without Ginseng Chicken Soup and Gongjindan

To JYJ, who are already known to be regular gourmets, a “hot summer day” is a day to eat out. Kim Jaejoong, who is currently involved in the shooting of drama “Protect the Boss” enjoys eating spicy food, and uses spicy noodle soup, and spicy stir-fried squid and other dishes to welcome the hot summer.

Park Yoochun, who is currently taking a break after the filming of “Miss Ripley,” is truly the iced tea spokesperson, and prefers to eat summer fruits. Differing from his fashionable “city” look, he really enjoys eating spicy chicken & potato stew and kalguksu (Korean knife-cut noodles) and other Korean dishes.

Kim Junsu, who is participating in the OST of the anticipated drama “Scent of a Woman” enjoys chicken dishes, and ginseng chicken soup is his favourite nutritious dish. Also, the “gongjindan” (Korean supplement) which became well-known due to the MBC drama “Greatest Love” is also a necessity for the JYJ members.

Kim Junsu DBSK Cuteness Part 1 Ahhhhhh… springtime The…

Kim Junsu DBSK Cuteness Part 1

Ahhhhhh….springtime. The birdies are chirping, the rivers are thawing, and it’s seems that our boys are getting older, day by day, yes? Considering how much time has passed since debut, I suppose this is an inevitable progression. People age, get stronger, wiser, and more experienced in life. This is a good thing. However….

It doesn’t mean we can’t reminisce! No Sir! So let’s a look at one of DBSK’s most outstanding, and longstanding, traits: CUTENESSS!!!!

Now, we all know that DBSK is cute. I mean, just look at them.

HELLO?! However, what I wish to explore is the different types of cuteness that our boys can embody individually, starting with…. (drumroll)

Our very own Junsu, cause let’s face it, he wrote the book on cuteness, yes? I think yes.

Now to business. We will start with a classic Junsu cute pose. Observe.

 Adorable, right! Of course right!!!!

Let’s try another classic pose, shall we?

Must. Contain. Spazz.…….

…………… (wiggle, wiggle)

………………………………. (sigh)

WAHHHHHHH!!!! SO CUTE!!!!!!!!

…Ahem. Sorry.

Junsu’s classic cute poses are very lovely, because he puts so much effort into displaying them for us fans. As such, we are very appreciative of the classic pose, as it has come to define Junsu’s cute persona as a whole. However, there is more. More cuteness to be explored. More to this adorable man than these poses. Shall we look deeper? Oh yes. We shall.

(rubs hands together) Okay. So Junsu knows how to act cute.  This we know. But what about when he’s  not acting cute? Is he still adorable. Let’s see.

Why hello, sunshine.  Ah, his smile could just light up a room.

So very lovely, our Junsu’s plump, baby cheeks, his half smile, his sparkly eyes, the perplexed expression. Yes, our duckie is adorable when he’s confused. Take a look.

What? You want me to play the Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute?! I can sing high notes, but not ‘that’ high!

Don’t worry baby, I love all your high notes. Tehe. Even when you squeak.

Well. Um. I mean when you speak, yes. When you speak in a high tone, it’s very nice. By the way, has anyone ever told you that you’re cute when you’re angry?

No? Okay, shall we move on then?

Good. Glad you’re happy. (grumble, grumble)  Now that my muse has been distracted by angry SuSu, I guess the rest of the cuteness will have to wait for part two. See what you’ve done, Junsu?

Don’t be sad, baby? I’ll be back.

See ya’ll next time for part 2!!!!!!

K-Pop Groups and Management

The problems continue between companies such as SM and their artists. This article does seem to be written without a bias. It offers general information that may help our guys in the long haul.

No one is unsympathetic as to the costs of training entertainers–it is just my opinion that if the companies intiate a contract with those entertainers, there should be an effort made on the part of the company to provide sufficiently for their artist’s human needs and, yes, dreams and desires. After all, popularity can decline over the years, and at the end of the contract period who wants to be left with nothing to show for all of their hard work.

Not only that, but most companies retain the rights to their artists work while with the company, so the artists can end up without any viable thing to call their own. I love JYJCY too much to want that for them or for any other artist.  Keep Praying and Keep Fighting.

Surh Jung-min, Music Correspondent

In the world of South Korean pop music, dubbed K-pop, there have been a string of disputes between popular idol groups like TVXQ, Super Junior and Kara and their management companies over their exclusive contracts.

It has ceaselessly been pointed out that there are a considerable number of problematic articles in the exclusive contracts signed in the entertainment sector. Most typical are the long-term contracts of 10 years or more. Also highlighted as problems are contract articles that violate the entertainers’ human rights, some for example that control their private lives. Also problematic is the way companies use unreasonable fines in the case of breach of contract as a tool to forcibly tie entertainers to their companies.

Despite these disadvantageous conditions, most aspiring entertainers sign these deals without much objection. This is because when there are so many aspiring entertainers, it is difficult for them to refuse. There are many instances, however, when entertainers change their mind after becoming famous. They demand to be treated in a manner worthy of their fame. There are also many instances in which other management companies try to lure entertainers over by offering better conditions.

Management companies protest that because they must invest a great deal of initial capital to make just one singer, long-term contracts and steep fines for breaking a contract are a minimum of protection. One music industry official said if a new musician releases an album, a management company must spend a significant amount of money on promotion, from 100 million Won ($89,662) to 300 or 400 million Won is the norm. In the case of major management companies, the initial investment can be even greater. Teaching dance, singing and foreign languages, taught from the time prior to their debut with foreign markets in mind, requires even more time and money.

The problem is that even if the costs are great, it is difficult to make money. Broadcast appearance fees are a pittance, and a great deal of money is required for coordinators and backup dancers to ensure frequent appearances. Profits from albums are also not huge. Even endorsements and events, a major revenue stream for signers, do not result in significant earnings for new singers.

“Even if a new singer reaches the top of the charts, he or she does not bring in much money, so for producers, three or five years will not cut it,” said one management company official. “With the exception of some big management companies, most producers are struggling.”

Despite this, many producers are still jumping into music. They look to hit the jackpot, as the music business is a model “high risk, high reward” business. With so many would-be singers, it is not easy to reform these outdated exclusive contracts and industry structures. Experts say the situation must be improved gradually by improving the profit structure and getting management companies to view their singers not simply as means to make money but as partners.

There have been loud calls to burst the bubble of promotional costs by changing the broadcast-centered singer promotion system. Broadcast companies should try to discover good music rather than dancing to management company promotion, and the public, too, should become an active consumer that looks for good music rather than just the music played on the radio.

Another basic change, too, would be to improve the digital music profit distribution system, in which music site and mobile telecommunication companies take an excessive share, to produce a market structure where performers could make money from their music alone, not advertisements and events. The Fair Trade Commission and other government bodies urgently need to keep continuous watch and make efforts to improve the situation so that unfair acts do not take place in the digital music market or in exclusive contracts with management companies.

Hi All. I guess my latest concern is all…

Hi All.

I guess my latest concern is all of the craziness out there in Fandom Land. Too much drama. The fans need to settle down and since some of us are being banned from the fanclub websites, our voices will have to speak in other ways in other places. Keep praying for opportunities for our mancubs to display their talents. That local stations will support them. Also let’s not forget the hearing coming up. Concentrated prayer here folks. JYJ has a new album coming out this month titled “JYJ Music Essay–Their Rooms”. Awesome Pre-sales. It features 6 tracks, a diary, photobook, and yearly planner. 224 pages. Need to order? Click on the link on this webpage sidebar for YesAsia.
This is a JYJ/DBSK site, but that doesn’t mean that HoMin/DBSK isn’t a part of things. HoMin was recently on MusicBank doing a great job of presenting two of their new songs–How Can I and Keep Your Head Down. Lots of great singing and dancing and special effects. Changmin still looks very young, but Yunho has taken on a mature air. HoMin’s album “Keep Your Head Down” has made historic pre-sales. To order click on YesAsia below.

The best to you guys. Momma Cha

What isn’t going on in the world of JYJ…

Hello Everyone.

What isn’t going on in the world of JYJ. A new album on the way that features songs written and scored by our guys, not to mention the book club, or Junsu’s six kitties, or JiJi dressed to the nines, or the SKKS popularity……I could say much more but the bottom line is making sure that we support them in all of the good things that are happening and pray them through the not so good. Prayer is Power.
On another topic–HoMin is also coming out with a new album. Lots of great songs and the video for Keep Your Head Down is very appealing. Remember the two brothers also. Momma Cha
