[Translation] 111116 JYJ for Happy Energy

[Trans] 111116 JYJ for Happy Energy

“Love will come back”
Jaejoong: JYJ’s happy energy, I would say, is the boomerang of love. The dramas that we act in, the albums that we create and release, these are all things that we have put all our efforts into. So with all these things, if the fans watch, listen, enjoy, and give us their love, we gain our strength from them. We then combine the strength that we gain and show our fans an even better side of us. I feel this is like a boomerang. If we give love, we will receive love in return. It’s like a boomerang.

“Straight to the age of 60″
Jaejoong: JYJ’s sharing will continue until the age of 60. The reason for this is because after the age of 60 we should also be receiving some of this “sharing” right? (laugh) For JYJ, the practice of sharing is very important to us. Even though we also have tough times due to various circumstances. And in those times, we receive strength from so many people that give us empowering words, that’s why we want to give support too. Because we are in the process of taking the strength we received and turning it into a good outcome, so we want to share our love with more people.

“We were like that too”
Jaejoong: There are books that are written with the structure of a fairytale, and there are books like “Talmud” that are like a fairytale. Books that give us so many lessons to learn from. The lessons that are always with us in our minds and that we feel we should practice, I think all of these lessons are embedded in fairytales. In regards to music, there are so many forms of good music aren’t there? Besides music, there are also the real sounds of nature aren’t there? What we consider noisy sounds, if we concentrated on them one by one like the sounds of an insect or the quiet voices of conversation, I think these little experiences would be good for kids.

“Thoughts about “giving”
Junsu: The people we want to help are kids. Ins’t education the most important thing for children? But with education, I think learning from daily from experiences is more important. Regardless, the kids from family with poor conditions have a greater probability of not being able to grow up under a good educational environment. For those that can also thrive later on, I want to give them nourishment as a present.

3 gifts
Yoochun: We have prepared a love collection for everyone. Jaejoong hyung chose a book he has read, here’s the signature. I brought a passport case I used before. Junsu’s is a jersey. The jersey Junsu wore when he played soccer. “Did you have a game yesterday?”
Junsu: “Only a practice”
Yoochun: “Practice right? It’s still wet.”
Junsu: “I couldn’t wash it”
Yoochun: Because this jersey really is very hard to find, everyone please pay a lot of attention to it.
Yoochun: Ya, did you really not wash it?
Junsu: I didn’t wash it!
Yoochun: Didn’t do it
Junsu: Didn’t do it

Sharing highkick is unstoppable
Yoochun:
If everyone can just devote a little more care, you can feel the feeling of satisfaction that you haven’t felt up until now.

Junsu: Our love and care can become the seed of hope for many people. If you want to feel happy regularly, then it would be good if we participate in this together.

Jaejoong: “Sharing” can be returned, I believe it is this way. If someone will be happy because of me, it will make me feel very satisfied. It would be wonderful if everyone can do a lot of sharing.

Jaejoong: it’s okay if I take one right? (takes mr bean thing)

The C-Jes Entertainment artists have gathered together to “share.”

With a “vacation” for JYJ, a “couple having a picnic” for Song Ji Hyo and Park Yoohwan, and a “camping” for the brothers Park Yoochun and Park Yoohwan as their concepts for the photoshoot, they showed a variety of warm and free images.

Song Ji Hyo said, “I had fun partaking in a meaningful photoshoot with my fellow label mates, and I had a great time because the big camping site made it feel like we were really on a vacation. We all paired up with a child through World Vision and though I’ve only seen my paired child through a photograph, I’m happy because I feel like he’s been a part of my family all along and I know we’re going to have such a beautiful relationship.”

JYJ said, “As the UNAIDS ambassadors, and with 1 December being World AIDS day, we want to communicate a relevant message. We received a great amount of love and concern throughout this year, and we want to participate for the sake of the less fortunate. With our participation in the ELLE charity photoshoot as well as the concurrent “Mango Tree project,” we hope that we can spend the end of this year with our fans in a memorable, meaningful way.“

Park Yoohwan said, “I still can’t believe that I’ve taken part in a photoshoot with my seniors, and I was really excited and happy because of it. Everyone treats me well because I’m the youngest in our agency and they said lots of great things throughout the photoshoot. It’s been an unforgettable experience and I enjoyed every moment of it because it’s for a good cause.”

World News: 50 Year Old Elephant in Thailand Gets New Prosthetic Leg

 September 2011

I posted this in September of last year simply because I knew how much Jaejoong cared about the Asian elephant. In response to Jaejoong’s pleas for saving these wonderful animals I am putting this article on the front page once again.

I pray that with all of your dedication, Jaejoong, and the help of the fans  that this project to save the Asian elephants will bear wonderful fruit.  Momma Cha  <3

Elephant In Thailand Gets New Prosthetic Leg
World News: 50 Year Old Elephant in Thailand Gets New Prosthetic leg

First Posted: 9/1/11 07:19 AM ET Updated: 9/1/11 07:19 AM ET

World News: A 50-year-old elephant in Thailand who lost her left front leg a few years ago is now kicking it up with a new prosthetic.

The elephant, named Motala, lost the appendage in 1999 after she accidentally stepped on a land mine left over from the ongoing conflicts along the Thai-Myanmar border, according to CNET.com. At the time, she had been a working elephant who moved trees for a living, and was simply foraging for food in the forest when the accident occurred.

Her owners tried to save the leg, but eventually it had to be amputated. And it wasn’t until 2006 that she was able to get her first artificial leg, a temporary one that she learned to walk on, before getting a more permanent prosthesis in 2009.

Since the prosthetic has to be changed according to the weight of the elephant, Motala has been given other legs accordingly. She most recently received her third one.

Motala, age 50, gets washed off by her mahout, an elephant driver, at the Friends of the Asian Elephant (FAE) elephant hospital in the Mae Yao National Reserve August 29, 2011 Lampang,Thailand. Motala lost a foot many years back after stepping on a land mine and now is on her third prosthetic, as they need to be changed according to the weight of the elephant. The world’s first elephant hospital assists in medical care and helps to promote a better understanding of the elephant’s physiology, important in treating them for illness. For generations elephants have been a part of the Thai culture, although today the Thai elephant mostly is domesticated animal, since Thailand now has few working elephants. Many are used in the tourism sector at special elephant parks or zoos, where they perform in shows. In some cases Thailand is still deals with roaming elephants on the city streets, usually after the mahout, an elephant driver, becomes unemployed, which often causes the elephant serious stress.

Motala was unable to be reached for an interview, but actor Kurt Yaeger — who, like Motala, lost his left leg — certainly feels a kinship toward her struggles.

“I can only imagine what she went through with that first prosthetic leg,” said Yaeger, who appears with an amputee animal, Winter the Tailless Dolphin, in the upcoming film, “Dolphin Tail.”

“I remember my first time,” he said. “It was a blow to my over-confidence. I thought I’d put it on and start running, but after that first step, I was in a ton of pain. I compare it to having your arms cut off halfway and then doing pushups all day.”

From a pop culture perspective, Motala’s new leg comes at an interesting time, thanks to the recent success of Oscar Pistorius, who had a double leg amputation and qualified for the semi-finals in the 400-meter run at the track and field world championships in Seoul, Korea.

In addition, there is lots of buzz for “Dolphin Tale,” which details the true life story of how Winter, a dolphin at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium in Clearwater Beach, Fla., managed to survive an accident that caused her to lose her tail. World champion Muay Thai boxer Baxter Humby is also defending his title as a superwelterweight on Sept. 2 — despite having no right hand, which was amputated just below his elbow at birth.

Yaeger said he finds the timing of all this interesting and hopes that it sets the groundwork for the future.
“It seems like a synergistic combination of things,” he said. “And that’s a good thing. Any exposure of people — or animals — with disabilities is extremely good for kids who don’t feel normal and think they have to figure it out on their own.”
