Having dipped into all types of dramas like historical drama, love and comedy, Park Yuchun again challenged a love drama. In MBC drama ‘Missing You’ that started airing on 7 Dec 2012, he acted as Han Jung Woo who exudes valiant masculinity. Putting aside the actor’s standpoint, as viewers, the expectations were also great. With this work, he would transform once again.

“After ‘Rooftop Prince’ ended, I considered what it would be like to cast off the existing image, then Han Jung Woo appeared. Read the script, my heart was stirred, I felt that with just this role, I could do a 180 degree transformation, the chance to change my role has finally come. Although the heart-stirring feeling and a feeling of burden rushed in at the same time, this role was totally different from my previous roles, and I also had the confidence that I could act it sufficiently well.”

“Park Yuchun” or Micky, is one of the members of JYJ, the World Famous Boy Band. His initial “Y” is used in the middle of JYJ Band Name. The other two members are “Kim Junsu” and “Kim Jaejoong”

“Park Yuchun” was born in Seoul, Korea. He later moved to the United States to study at a high school there and very soon after that he started on his musical career. It was obvious from the very beginning that, he had a great talent as a musician and singer. He taught himself to play piano and excelled in musical composition. In 2010, “Yuchun” and the members of JYJ sang the song, “Chajatda – Found You”, the soundtrack for the drama “Sungkyunkwan Scandal”, in which “Yuchun” also taken a lead role in. In addition, he also performed the song, “A Space Left For You” in another hit drama “Miss Ripley” which reached No. 1 in several music charts.

Singer and actor Park Yuchun (JYJ) is resting after suffering from enteritis (intestinal inflammation).

Recently, at DongSeo Food Products homepage, the new commercial that has Park YuChun as the lead for Ice TiO has been published.

In the commercial that was being released, Park YuChun appeared as a student teacher. In the commercial, he was speaking over the phone with his mother about his dissatisfaction saying, “Kids these days are scary. I want to change to another school. Mom graduated from a girls school, right?”

Park YuChun was being found out by another teacher about his grumbling and being questioned, “You’re going to quit this school?” and his reply was, “No. I really like it here.” His sudden change in stand evoked lots of laughter.
