JYJ’s Jae Joong was recently selected as the most handsome idol singer.

Lamar Cosmetic Surgery surveyed 634 customers about the most handsome idol singer who has a perfect face, from August 13 to 31. As a result, Jae Joong ranked first, receiving 178 votes (28 percent).

Receiving favorable reviews for his acting in MBC TV’s drama series Doctor Jin, Jae Joong ranked first, beating other male idol singers. Jae Joong has been popular for his well-defined features and sharp nose.

The people who participated in the survey commented: “I envy Jae Joong’s face.” “Jae Joong might not be a human being because he’s too perfect.” “Jae Joong is so handsome! He’s great!” “Jae Joong is not only handsome but also good at acting and singing.”

Kim Dong Jun, the chief doctor of Lamar Cosmetic Surgery, says, “Jae Joong not only has big eyes, a high nose, and a sharp chin but also has white, clean skin. I think that’s why many people selected Jae Joong as the most handsome idol singer.”

Super Junior’s Siwon ranked second (26 percent, 165 votes), and he was followed by B2ST’s Du Jun (21 percent, 133 votes), Big Bang’s T.O.P (17 percent, 108 votes), SHINee’s Minho, and 2PM’s Nichkhun.

Singer Lee Yong revealed that he was surprised when he heard that TVXQ’s YoungWoong Jaejoong sang the song ‘Forgotten Season’.

Lee Yong appeared on cable tv YTN’s ‘News & News’ on the 28th at 2:20pm and expressed his gratitude to his juniors who have sung ‘Forgotten Season’.

When Anchorman Lee Gwang Yeon asked, “Many of your juniors have sung your hit song ‘Forgotten Season’, what are your feelings on that?” Lee Yong replied, “I feel really great when I my juniors like and sing my song.”

He added, “I was so surprised when I watched TVXQ’s YoungWoong Jaejoong perform a perfect rendition of the song,” and explained, “I asked YoungWoong Jaejoong how he ended up choosing the song, and he said, ‘I practiced this song a lot because President Lee Soo Man likes it’.“

The experts who participated in this evaluation: Director of the KBS Drama Bureau: Ko Myung Tak, Head Of The Entertainment Department at Sports Donga: Kim Jaebum, Director of iHQ Acting Academy: Ahn Hyuk Mo, Professor of Korean Literature at Choongnam University (Drama Critic): Yoon Seok Jin, Director of MBC’s Drama Bureau: Lee Dae Young, Pop Culture Critic: Lee Moon Won, Director of SBS’ Drama Bureau: Heo Woong.

Big Bang’s TOP (Choi Seung Hyun) has been evaluated as the idol-turned-actor with the most successful acting career and the most potential for growth. A panel of 7 experts, including the directors of the three major broadcasting companies, evaluated the ‘acting careers till now’ and ‘potential for growth’ for 11 idol-turned-actors who have been active in the past two years through dramas and movies. Choi Seung Hyun came out on top for both with average scores of 7.6 and 8.

According to the experts, “His bold and clear image is his charm”(Ahn Hyuk Mo) and “It’s time for him to expand his acting career.” Choi Seung Hyun received the Best Male Newcomer Award at the Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in the movie ‘Into the Crossfire’

Second place in both fields was given to JYJ’s Park Yoochun (7, 7.7) while third place went to 2PM’s Ok Taecyeon (6.6, 7.6). Park Yoochun debuted through the drama ‘SungKyunKwan Scandal’ last year and is currently acting in MBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Miss Ripley’. Ok Taecyeon debuted through ‘Cinderella’s Sister’ and played the leading role in ‘Dream High’ this year.

Regarding Park Yoochun, the experts said, “He needs to maintain his dry fluidity,”(Yoon Seok Jin) and “He has potential as a melodrama actor.”(Lee Dae Young) Regarding Ok Taecyeon, they said, “He is serious about his work and has star quality.
