Earlier this month, TVXQ traveled to Taiwan to interact with their fans through fan meetings. While the group was in Taiwan, they also went on a few variety and music shows in order to promote their new songs. In particular, the group was interviewed by Calvin Chen, who is a member of Taiwanese idol group Fahrenheit. TVXQ and Fahrenheit once met at a concert in Korea. When the three of them met again this time, they caught everyone’s attention due to the fact that they are all over 180cm tall. This led to staff members from Korea to comment, “You guys can create a new international group!”
During the interview, while Changmin made a strong impression with his singing, Yunho provided the greatest highlight of the show when he attempted to show off his drawing skills. To give back to their fans in Taiwan, Changmin sang a part of “How Can I.” Eventually, he was cut-off by Yunho who wanted Changmin to save the rest of his performance for the fan parties.
On the other hand, Yunho showed off his drawing skills on the show when they were asked to guess the other member’s favorite animal. While he correctly answered Changmin’s favorite animal as dogs, his drawing drew laughter from everyone in attendance. Calvin expressed relief as he was glad that he finally found someone who has no drawing skills just like him, and said that he thought Yunho had drew a camel. When asked whether he likes to draw, Yunho expressed, “I do like drawing, but it seems that no one ever understands what I’ve drawn.”
On another show, Changmin and Yunho also played a game to test whether they think of the same item when given a topic. Even though the host expressed that there is no need to draw, Yunho insisted on drawing, which resulted in laughter from everyone once again with his drawings of snow (mistaken for a mother), Santa (disagreed by everyone besides Changmin), and dragon (mistaken for a worm/snake). Even until the end, Yunho stood by his drawings and claimed that they represent his own style.
Check out the pictures below! What do you think of Yunho’s drawing skills?

I have an old 33rpm vinyl copy of the album (Souvenirs) this song is on. It still plays beautifully and brings back old memories. This song is about love unobtained–I am thankful as this New Year draws nigh that the love of my life is still by my side. Thank You, My Dear.

Years ago I would diligently make a list of New Year’s resolutions that I would sincerely intend to keep. They weren’t anything unobtainable–in fact they were quite simple pursuits such as ‘lose 50 pounds’ or ‘write a bestseller’–you know what I mean ^^
I found out over time that even with the best of intentions these resolutions would pass or fail depending upon factors other than my own sheer will. Life has a way of altering your plans, however sincerely constructed, and it is nothing unusual to be facing yet another year with unfulfilled resolutions. Approaching 2012 with goals not finished in 2011 seems normal.
I have found out over time that the things that do get done are the normal everyday living things that never go on a resolution list. You cannot avoid going to the grocery store, or shopping for the family at Wal-Mart. Job obligations certainly do get addressed because money as a reward tends to keep us sharp to task. Taking the kids to the dentist gets accomplished; as does helping with homework. Most certainly working on keeping the home, family and (in my case) church duties implemented become high on the priority list. I think that the deterent to keeping our resolutions list may be in the way that we allow the world to penetrate our fortresses and keep us distracted from accomplishing the really important, life-changing things–such as losing those 50 pounds.
So am I saying that New Year’s resolutions should be banned as passe’? Am I implying that making a list and “checking it twice ‘ should only pertain to Santa? No, because there may be some people out there who determinedly press on until every last resolution is nailed to the board. If you are one of those, I am happy for you. Make your resolutions and then prove to those of us sadly lacking in fortitude that resolutions were made to be accomplished.
I’ve discovered that I will sometimes fulfill a resolution just by accident. In the course of living life some resolutions just find their way to the accomplished pile. You come across an old list and say, “My Goodness, I honestly got that one and that one done”!! That is when the value of making the list appears–when you can smile and say you did it despite yourself. 🙂

Dear Jaejoong,
You are the only person I know who could manage to garner sympathy for your lonely Christmas Day, give us a beautiful glimpse of your home’s interior, and show us that adorable collection of elephants–all in the same post. However, with the world and our lives being so busy, you really got a precious gift–time to yourself.
Trouble is–most young people do not see time spent with yourself as a gift because the concentration is on how lonely it is, and you are desiring someone to help you to enjoy that time. That is understandable, but look at it this way. When you are by yourself you get to command the ship. You get to choose your own pursuits, unimpeded by other’s ideas of how to spend the day. You can get up or lie in bed; walk around in a torn T-shirt and a pair of sweats or dress to the nines and hold your own private fashion show. You can choose to read a good book or cook yourself a special meal.
O.K. Why am I waxing eloquent on this? I guess it is because when you are constantly around other people (and I am) having some time to yourself can prove to be a wonderful change. It doesn’t negate the love in you for other’s, it simply points out that occasionally we must also learn to love and take time for ourselves.
Someday you will have that special someone by your side, and thoughts of being alone on Christmas will be in the past. The family will grow and your committments to others will grow and one day you will find yourself feeling guilty because you desire some alone time. Don’t go there, it is as natural as breathing to desire to have time to be yourself. Yet, I will concede,Jaejoong. It is also natural to desire company on such a momentous day as Christmas. Seek it out, as you did–you knew that we were there, and that you weren’t truly alone.
Loving you at Christmas, Momma Cha @jyjfantalk.com
