‘The Korea Musical Awards’, which has lived through Korea’s history of musicals, will be holding its 17th awards ceremony this year.

‘The 17th Korea Musical Awards’ will feature Renaissance man Lee Hyun Woo and SBS anchorwoman Yoo Hae Young as its hosts and will be aired lived on SBS from 5:20pm on the 14th of November.

The stars who are drawing the most attention are Song Chang Ui and Lisa, who are currently in a relationship, as they’ve been nominated for the Best Actor and Actress Award respectively for their roles in ‘Gwanghwamun Love Song’ while Cha Ji Yeon, who is famous for being ‘Lim Jae Bum’s woman’ has been nominated for the Best Actress Award for her role in ‘Please Look After Mom’.

Also, many are curious to see if JYJ’s Kim Junsu, who became a hot topic for his roles in ‘Tears of Heaven’ and ‘Mozart!’ this year, will win the Most Popular Actor Award for the second consecutive year.

A gala show event will be held by Korea’s most representative musical actors. Through seven unique performances, they plan to captivate the audience members, their fellow actors and the viewers at home.

A celebratory performance is currently being prepared with more than 200 staff members, 80 musical actors and a 20 member orchestra, promising to give the most extravagant performance ever in the history of the awards ceremony.

TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho will be making a special appearance in the sitcom “Living in Cheongdam-dong” starring Kim Hye Ja.

Sources from the TV drama industry told Newsen that it has been decided that U-Know Yunho will be making an appearance in the jTBC sitcom “Living in Cheongdam-dong,” and started filming on the afternoon of 7 November. For this shoot, U-Know Yunho will be working with Kim Hye Ja, which will present a unique form of pleasure. This is the second time he is appearing in a sitcom after MBC’s “Rainbow Romance” in 2006.

“Living in Cheongdam-dong,” is the “Nation’s Mother” Kim Hye Ja’s first time challenging a sitcom.
