News] JYJ’s Jaejoong Shows His Love for Fellow Members

JYJ‘s Jaejoong showed the world how much he cares about his fellow members, Junsu and Yoochun.

Earlier today, Jaejoong tweeted, “Monitoring Junsu and Yoochun! My handsome brothers, my members. I saw Yoochun and Junsu today, but I’m not tired of them. They’re the best“. He also posted a picture of himself in a very casual setting while monitoring the members via his laptop.

Yoochun is currently filming ‘Rooftop Prince‘ and Junsu is performing in the musical ‘Elisabeth‘.

Their fans were happy to see their tight friendship and responded, “It’s nice to see how close they are.”

Meanwhile, fans will be able to see JYJ together during their South American tour stops in Chile and Peru.

Group JYJ’s Kim Junsu has attracted attention after having a family photo of himself revealed. Junsu’s twin brother Junho, tweeted ‘I watched ‘Elisabeth! Junsu was indeed amazing!’ and along with this comment uploaded a family photo. Junsu is currently enthusiastically performing as ‘Death’ in the musical ‘Elisabeth’, and as it can be seen by this photo, it seems that Junho has attended this musical along with the rest of the family.

In this photo, Junsu was seen with yellow hair (T/N:not actually yellow, they mean the blondness of it), wearing a black jacket and with rich smoky eyes make up, he has received a lot of attention. What was particularly eye catching was Kim Junsu’s twin that looked identical to him and the great appearance of his parents, these four people courted such a heartwarming appearance that is envied by people all around.

[News] JYJ Junsu To Star In Movie “Jackal Comes” With Song Jihyo?

There is increasing interest in the entertainment industry to see if Song Jihyo, who is currently dating the CEO of her management company, will be starring in a movie with label-mate JYJ’s Kim Junsu.

On 23 February, according to the movie industry, Song Jihyo has been recently confirmed to star in the move “Jackal Comes” and they are in the midst of arranging her schedule. It has been 4 years since Song Jihyo starred as a lead in a movie, the last being “Frozen Flower” in 2008.

“Jackal Comes” is a new movie by director Pe Hyun Joon who directed “Don’t believe your girlfriend” and “Boys don’t cry”. The movie depicts the commotion that occurs when the police is dispatched after a mentally unstable female killer kidnaps a popular singer and attempts to murder him.

JYJ member Junsu is up for strong consideration to play the role that Song Jihyo kidnaps. Although Junsu has never acted in a movie, he is packing in acting experience through musicals like “Mozart!” and “Elisabeth”. He also matches the movie role of being a popular singer.

However, Junsu’s lack of experience in movies might be a point that hampers his participation. Production companies and sponsors are worried over Junsu’s lack of experience in acting on the big screen. With regards to this, the management company for the both of them had few words to say, “Although (Junsu’s appearance is) under consideration, nothing has been decided yet.”

Casting for “Jackal Comes” is expected to be completed soon and filming will begin from end of March at the earliest.

 “Due to an insufficient number of female washrooms, some washrooms intended for use by males have also been converted to female washrooms.”
As each of the musical performances that Kim Junsu performs in attracts a large number of female audiences, even the washrooms in the performance venue have to be changed.

During the intermission of the performance of the musical “Elisabeth” on 15 February, during which Kim Junsu played the role of “Death (Tod)” , the number of female audiences in the washrooms at the Blue Square Musical Hall in Seoul spiked. On this day, (the management) of the theatre opened the male washrooms on the basement floor for use by female audiences. The caretaker turned away male guests who were trying to use that washroom by saying, “It’s only because Kim Junsu is performing today, please understand.”

Since their opening in November 2011, although the theatre has realised that there is a large influx of female guests when local musicals are being performed, and has since increased the number of female washrooms, it is still insufficient on days when Kim Junsu performs. The capacity of the female washrooms in the theatre are already the highest in Korea, with an average of 1 female washroom cubicle for every 25.9 seats. The Charlotte Theatre in Jamshil (only) has one female cubicle for every 33.5 seats.

Such “situations” arise because the tickets for shows in which Kim Junsu performs in are all sold out, and a majority of the audiences are female. Interpark, which provides the online ticketing service, expressed that over 99% of the buyers of tickets for Kim Junsu’s performances of “Elisabeth” are female purchasers. Although female purchasers may bring males along to watch the performance, but this is unseen in the history of Korea’s musical theatres.

The 20 shows of “Elisabeth” in which Kim Junsu will be appearing, with a total of 31,960 tickets, all sold out within 10 minutes. The tickets for his shows are also the only ones which are being resold by ticket scalpers. According to reports, prices in Japan have been marked up from the original 150,000 won to 100,000 yen (approximately 1,440,000 won). The theatre rents out approximately 100 opera glasses (binoculars used for watching performances or shows), but there are plans to purchase more in preparation for Kim Junsu’s performances.
