[News] 140806 Park Yoochun Talks About Unconditional Love and Envying His Character in “Sea Fog”

JYJ member and actor Park Yoochun touched on the subject of love during a recent interview about his latest film “Sea Fog.”

On August 5, the star sat down with news outlet Asia Economy to talk about his thoughts on the movie. He began by confessing, “Dong Sik, who I play in ‘Sea Fog,’ is very naive. He is the type of person that I have always admired.”

“Since the beginning of middle school, I have earned money by myself. I have carried the responsibility for my life since then, and seeing Dong Sik take care of his grandmother and work hard jobs, I noticed similarities between Dong Sik and myself,” the talent continued.

“Although me and Dong Sik share a number of traits, we are still very different. I like his way of taking rapid action thanks to his simple way of thinking and his way of pushing forward with his plans. I envy him, and I think our era needs people like him. There are not many people like Dong Sik, I think,” he confessed.

“‘Sea Fog’ is a movie that the current era needs. It shows pure and innocent love that you do not see in our modern society,” the actor said, and revealed his yearning for unconditional love, “Nowadays, people consider the terms before looking at the person, but Dong Sik and Hong Mae (Han Ye Ri) love each other unconditionally. I miss that kind of love, and I am jealous of them.”

“Sea Fog” starring Park Yoochun premieres on August 13.

[News] 140806 KBS deems songs by JYJ, HyunA, and Yenny (HA:TFELT) unfit for broadcast

jyjunfitmontage

KBS has deemed songs by JYJ, HyunA, Yenny (HA:TFELT), and more as unfit for broadcast.

According to KBS on August 6, 14 songs failed to satisfy the broadcast network’s rules and regulations in terms of content. Among those were “Back Seat” from JYJ’s second album ‘Just Us’, “Blacklist” and “French Kiss” from HyunA’s ‘A Talk’, and HA:TFELT’s “Bond” from her solo debut album.

The reasons given for the songs being branded as unsuitable for broadcast include the sexually suggestive nature of “Back Seat” (specifically the line “Put you on my back seat”), the line “Do it” in HyunA’s “French Kiss”, the inappropriate language and curse words in “Blacklist”, and the expression “God damn” in Yenny’s “Bond”.

KBS also banned rock band Unchained’s “Paris” and “Talebearing” and Rose Garden’s “You’re Not My Style”, citing the lyrics as harmful to the mental development of juveniles.

Jung Il Woo fights ghosts in new posters for The Night Watchman’s Journal

nightwatchmandramafever

The Night Watchman’s Journal, described as a fusion fantasy set in the Joseon era, has released new posters and stills. Most importantly, the new drama stars Jung Il Woo, who gets to play a royal prince by day and ghost buster at night.

Judging from the posters, the show packs in multiple genres such as paranormal, romance, action, and suspense into one fantastic period drama. Jung Il Woo is a prince who inherited a special power from his father which allows him to see ghosts. Although he is a royal prince, he lives a lonely life outside of the palace. (To fans who fell for Jung Il Woo in The Moon That Embraces The Sun, we hope he gets the girl this time.)

Aside from Jung Il Woo, the exciting drama also co-stars Go Sung Hee, Seo Ye Ji, and Jung Yun Ho of TVXQ.
