Max Changmin has become addicted to bowling.
On the 7th, the team of KBS 2TV’s ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ released a photo of Max Changmin bowling in Japan.
In the photo, Max Changmin can be seen deeply focused as he practices at a bowling rink in Japan. Another photo shows the scores of one of his rounds and the singer has garnered much attention for scoring four strikes in a row for a total of 203 points.
This is completely different from when he first started bowling and was given the nickname ‘The Dummy of Bowling’.
The photos are said to have been sent to the staff by Max Changmin himself as he scored his highest record ever. Although he is currently busy holding concerts for TVXQ’s Japanese tour, he is said to be visiting bowling rinks whenever he can to build up his bowling skills.
A representative of ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ stated, “Even we were surprised when we heard about Max Changmin’s level of dedication both outside the studio and overseas,” and “I’m certain that he will surprise everyone in next week’s episode.”
Meanwhile, the celebrity team of ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ is currently battling the Dongchun-dong Heroes team after losing spectacularly to the Weolseong-dong United team.

TVXQ’s Max Changmin shed tears because he felt as though he had been nothing but a burden to the other members of ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’.
On the episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ that aired on the 28th, the singer said, “My lack of skills didn’t help the others, and the others could have practiced more instead of spending time to help me. So I feel like I’ve been nothing but a burden on everyone else.” He shed tears after his team lost against the Deagu Wolsung-dong United players at a bowling match.
On this day, ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ lost four straight matches in a ‘best out of 7 match’ and failed to seal another victory. It was a game that left the members feeling disappointed because they had tried their hardest, though they were lacking in talent.
The seven members were unable to leave the venue after losing and began sharing their feelings about the match. Talking to Jo Dal Hwan, who was the last hope for the team but inevitably lost, Lee Byung Jin stated, “I knew how you were feeling [when you were playing] and what you were probably thinking so…” and couldn’t continue because he began shedding tears. Starting with Lee Byung Jin, Lim Hyung Jun, Alex, Max Changmin and Lee Soo Geun began opening up and crying with him.
As the youngest member, Max Changmin felt especially bad as he said, “I feel like I’ve been nothing but a burden,” and the other members comforted him. This was because they had all seen him cheering for the team and praying for the other members harder than anyone else.

Male idol group TVXQ (U-Know Yunho, Max Changmin), who are currently on a world tour, successfully held a concert in Malaysia.
According to SM Entertainment on the 20th, TVXQ held their ‘TVXQ! Live World Tour Catch Me! in Kuala Lumpur’ at 6pm on the 18th at the Malawati Indoor Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and entranced their fans with an extravagant performance and charisma.
Opening the show with a rendition of ‘Rising Sun’, TVXQ performed songs from their latest album such as ‘Catch Me!’ and ‘Humanoids’, as well as hits such as ‘Why! Keep Your Head Down’ and ‘MIROTIC’.
Including individual performances that showcased each member’s unique style, the two members performed a total of 26 songs during the concert.
For the entire concert, Malaysian fans were seen holding pearl-red glowsticks and singing along with TVXQ. It was later said that the members were moved by the surprise event planned by the fans during ‘Purple Line’, when everyone switched to purple glowsticks to go with the song.
Meanwhile, TVXQ is also currently on a 5 Dome Tour in Japan that will attract a total of 850,000 fans.

‘Rooftop Prince’, which features Hallyu star JYJ’s Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min, is set to air on TV in Japan.
According to TBS, a Japanese terrestrial broadcasting company, on the 10th, ‘Rooftop Prince’ will begin airing on the 3rd of June on TBS’ ‘Hallyu Select’ at 10:05am every day for an hour.
TBS introduce ‘Rooftop Prince’ as, “A drama that fans all over the world went crazy for, with fans from 36 countries streaming the drama live when it was airing in Korea. Park Yoochun even graced the covers of magazines in Japan even before it began airing.” TBS also talked of the company’s anticipation for the drama as they added, “Park Yoochun will steal the hearts of his viewers with high quality historical acting and a perfectly fitting role.”
‘Rooftop Prince’ first aired in Japan last July on KNTV. It then aired on WOWOW and became a huge hit as a DVD as well. A representative of the industry stated, “The popularity for the drama has spiked since JYJ ended their lawsuit in Japan and successfully held a concert in Tokyo Dome.”
