[FAN PROJECT] Letters to Kim Jaejoong (Diary of a Fandom)

Featured

This is a timeless [well almost 🙂 post] If there is a moment to give support, now is crucial. Jaejoong is living pure reality right now. It’s so easy to sit back and wait for our Guys to return. It takes more effort to continue. We must keep praying for strength for us all.

[TRANS] 140701 Official Statement from CJES on Incheon Asian Games Incident

-The official statement from CJES regarding Incheon Asian Games-

The 2014 Incheon Asian Games committee said “we appointed JYJ as the honorary ambassador, whose popularity is well recognized all around the Asia, to encourage the rest of the asia to know more about the 2014 Incheon Asian Games and to boost the promotional campaigns.”

When the C-jes Entertainment was discussing the roles of JYJ as the honorary ambassador, the officially formed service contract was accomplished with the campaign marketing agency from the 2014 Incheon Asian Games committee. The contract includes the following statements; “anything promotional campaigns related to the 2014 Incheon Asian Games should be agreed upon with JYJ in advance.” And “2014 Incheon Asian Games is obligated to consider JYJ as their top priority when casting other K-POP stars or singers for the opening and closing ceremony and any other conferences held by oversea media. Also, the 2014 Incheon Asian Games committee and its chairman along with the person who was in charge of the promotional campaign PROMISED JYJ THE STAGES FOR BOTH OPENING AND CLOSING CEREMONIES.

Followed up campaigns such as recording the title song of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, Only One, and making the music video with no charge; JYJ has been nothing but loyal to the 2014 Incheon Asian Games. Moreover, JYJ participated the showcase held in Hanoi, Vientnam and Guangzhou, China last October and November. The showcase in November where all the persons concerned for the 2014 Incheon Asian Games was supposed to gather was cancelled due to the natural disaster in Philippines.

A month ago, C-jes Entertainment notified the 2014 Incheon Asian Games committee that JYJ will join the Incheon Main Stadium opening event and the press conferences for both opening and closing ceremonies where the stage director would be there as well. However, no further information regarding every events could be received from the committee and the press conference happened today was one result from such matter. On the most recent call with the committee, they said that there is nothing confirmed for the stage schedule yet. However today the committee distributed to the press that they have “Stars Casted for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies” and did not mention JYJ, the official honorary ambassador. The committee also said that the appearance of JYJ is confirmed, but they are NOT discussing when the stage of JYJ will be made but WHETHER THEY WILL ALLOW JYJ’S STAGE TO GO ON.

The 2014 Incheon Asian Games committee PROMISED the opening and closing ceremonies. They even suggested collaborating a stage with PSY for the closing ceremony and JYJ told the commiittee that they would be honored to be on the same stage.

The 2014 Incheon Asian Games should keep the promise with JYJ. We believe that the 2014 Incheon Asian Games committee is organized to fulfill the public interest, which is based upon the loyalty and trust. For more than a year, the committee has made over four billion Asians believe that JYJ is the face of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, yet they did not bother to mention the name JYJ at the press conference. This goes against common sense. The stage with such a great singer who is loved the nation-wide.

If the committee tries to blame the person who was in charge of casting the honorary ambassador in the future or to make an excuse saying that JYJ was supposed to perform on the opening and closing event, not the main ceremony would be very disgraceful of the committee. It does not need lots of reasons to see how ridiculous it is that JYJ, who has been working really hard for the campaign and even recorded the theme song, was only going to perform on the even before the big main ceremony.
As you already know, JYJ was unfairly informed that they were no longer needed for the event for the Je-Ju New 7 Wonders of Nature’s honorary ambassodor in 2011. (It was unfair because JYJ was given such information just one day before the event and obviously they have reserved their flights and was even given a cue sheet.)

We remember the day we had a first meeting with the committee last May. We emphasized that JYJ has gone through enough painful obstruction and that it fears them it might happen again. We told them JYJ would not even consider starting something unless it is fully agreed upon and everything is obligated since the pain will be unbearable, not only for the members of JYJ but all the fans around the world who love them. The committee said that it is beyond deplorable that such obstruction is and has been occurring to JYJ. They were also very confident that they will not let such problem occur to JYJ.

We hope this breach of contract is not made by another preposterous and unfair threat and sincerely ask for everyone’s attention and support for JYJ.

[TRANS] 140310 TVXQ, “Sunmi Has The Greatest Choreography These Days, It’s Really Classy

TVXQ brought Sunmi up in their conversations.

During today’s broadcast of MBC FM4U’s ‘Kim Shin Young’s Hopeful Song of Noon’, TVXQ appeared as guests and chose Sunmi as the singer with the best choreography these days.

DJ Kim Shin Young asked, “TVXQ can never be left out when talking about choreography, which singer has caught your eye these days with their polished choreography?” Max Changmin replied, “Yunho and I talked about this yesterday, and we both think that Sunmi has a great dance routine. It’s really classy.”

U-Know Yunho added, “The concept for her song is really specific. I didn’t know she was actually going to draw a moon with her hands.”

When DJ Kim Shin Young kept asking about Sunmi, U-Know Yunho said, “The first time we met her, she told us that she was a member of our fanclub. More and more juniors are coming out and revealing that they were in our fanclub.” When asked who these stars were, U-Know Yunho hesitated for a moment before he said, “There’s Dal Shabet’s Woo Hee, Girls Day’s Min Ah, a member of BESTie, and EXO’s Xiumin and Chen.”

Max Changmin added, “More and more juniors are coming up to us and telling us that they were our fans, with a level of sincerity that brings truth to their statements, and it makes us happy to see them do well as singers.”

[Info] Trending Topic for Yoochun to Support Three Days’ Premiere on March 5th

yoochunthreedayssbs

Hello, everyone!

How have you been?

As you know, SBS Three Days, Yoochun’s fifth drama and maybe his last one before enlistment, will premiere at 22:00 KST on March 5th (Wednesday). For this drama, Yoochun has been working harder than any of his previous dramas due to the overlapping schedule with Seafog’s filming and intense action scenes. Just some days ago, we also knew that Yoochun got injured during the filming of this drama and because of that, many have been quite upset. However, we can’t just sit there and get discouraged, let’s unite and do something to show our support for him. We should support this drama more than any of his previous drama. For his previous dramas, we did not trend anything, but this time, we determine to trend for him and get the tag on Worldwide trending list. To do that, we alone can’t do much, we need your great help.

We do not care where you come from, whether you are group A’s fans, or group B’s fans, or individual fans, or drama fans, whether you come from Asian, America, Europe or Australia, as long as you care for and support Yoochun or you are genuinely interested in Three Days, please give us a hand to trend for him. Last times, when we trended for his birthday, we already asked everyone which the most popular tag was, but at the end it took forever to get something on trending list just because different people were trending different things. This time, we HAVE to get Yoochun and Three Days on trending list. Please help!!! Please agree on only one tag, no matter if you support different fansites, no matter what conflict you have with each other, let’s just chose only one tag and trend together, can you do that?

From now on to the D-Day, the time and the tag to trend are subject to change. So please help us come up with the most popular tag and please agree to trend together. We are planning to trend one hour before the airing time so we are going to start at 21:00 KST and keep trending for one hour. However, if you want something else, please inform us so that we can adjust it according to the popular opinion. We call out for all fansites and fans to tell us what you are planning to tell you followers to trend that day through comments under this post, or through mentions to our Twitter (@6002sky). When you do so, please inform us what fansite that agrees on what tag if possible. On March 4th, which is one day before the premiere, we will come up with a specific tag and time according to the popular opinion and inform everyone.

Please give us your support to get this done,

Thank you,

With Love,

6002Sky.

Happy Birthday U-know Yunho: The Promise of Another Year Continues…

Happy Birthday Yunho:  Another Year’s Promise Is Here

yunhoghanahope7 Another year has passed in the life of U-Know Yunho–leader-sshi extraordinaire, friend, dancer, singer, and actor. Who is this ball of energy who seems to have the ability to do such a variety of things, including reaching into his heart and his resources to meet the needs of others? Yunho, you personify fatherhood and young wisdom, yet you also exude a certain vulnerability and naive playfulness that suggests that you have found a way to relieve the pressures of your everyday existence. You have always been one to shoulder everyone’s burden, but what about your burdens?

Early on, as a member of DBSK, you were assigned the leadership role. I can imagine trying to supervise those four extremely energetic, independent doers and thinkers, namely, Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, and Changmin, I believe that Jaejoong helped you a lot, as they all probably did–but it still remained your role to see to tasks being performed, and to coordinate between upper management and the members. This was not a comfortable place to be. Middle-management has its own set of problems, and you could get caught in between the two. Your loyalties have to lie with both, and the “buck’ definitely stops at your house often. It takes great courage and strength to live in this way, but you have consistently managed to do this.

It doesn’t matter how much we speculate–the only ones who truly know why DBSK split are the actual parties involved. The question is do we truly need to know? I believe that truth and revelation are healers. Each member was and still is affected, and what utter devastation was caused among the fandom. Yet, In some ways it has strengthened the fandom and revealed true loyalties. I also believe that this strengthened each member. Adversely, it has created a climate for fan wars that eventually will be revealed as evoking unnecessary casualties.  Over-all, everyone receives the love if they choose to embrace it. .

Yunho, you are a human being. You hurt like we all hurt. Yet, you tend to hide that hurt until you are alone. This makes it hard to know what your needs are. As a caring community of people, and disregarding diverse loyalties arising out of the split–you occupy a singular position. You also occupy a unique place in our hearts. There is no one like you. As this year progresses, and you achieve more things born out of your own inner drive and perfectionist personality–I believe that you will surpass your own expectations. You have greatness in you; we have seen it all along–and I am praying that you will someday emerge as a guiding influence on the world around you. Seek profound truths, and let yourself be guided by what is truth.

I want to congratulate you on the 10th anniversary, on ‘Somefhing’ and TENSE, and on all of the recent awards and achievements, whether in conjuncture with Changmin or singly. You will continue to grow, and more responsibility will fall upon your shoulders. You are fast approaching your 30’s, the start of the most potentially productive years of your life. Choose your projects wisely, esteem those who are worthy of your esteem, always keep the faith, and know that you are loved…
