TVXQ Changmin Wants To Get Married As Soon As He Can?

On July 19, TVXQ Changmin’s question about marriage made a headline in Hong Kong’s Oriental Daily Newspaper.

TVXQ Changmin replied to the question about marriage in a Hong Kong Newspaper. One of his fans asked, “When will you get married?” in which Changmin answered, “If I say I don’t want to get married, I am lying. I honestly want to get married as soon as possible and have two or three children.” Many of his sans were disheartened to hear about his wish to marry soon.

Currently, TVXQ has been topping the Japan Oricon Single Charts with over 152,000 copies sold in their first week of their Japan single, Android.

They also broke the world record for most single sales for a foreign group in Japan with 3,104,000 copies.

On 17 July, Oricon announced that popular Korean group, Tohoshinki, had set a new record among foreign groups. They have become the overseas group to have the highest total number of singles sold in the history of the Japanese music industry.

Their new single “Android” (Avex Trax), which was released on 11 July, has sold more than 152,000 copies within the first week.

The total sales of all of Tohoshinki’s ranking singles amounts to 3,104,000 copies, breaking the 10 year 10 month old record of the highest number of total singles sold for a foreign group. The record was previously held by the American sibling duo, The Carpenters, with 3,002,000 copies sold in total.

“Android” ranked 1st place in the 23 July Oricon weekly charts (tabulated from 9 to 15 July) immediately following its release. It is their second consecutive single to be ranked 1st, following “Still” (released March 2012), bringing their total number of singles ranked 1st to 11. They now have 27 releases which were tanked Top 10, beginning with “Sky”, which was released in August 2006, breaking their own record. They also broke their own record for the overseas artist with the most number of singles ranked 1st. (Ou-Yang Fei Fei ranks second for the overseas artist with the most number of singles ranked number 1 (2 singles). BoA ranks second for the overseas artist with the most number of singles which ranked within the Top 10 (25 singles).)

“Android” is Tohoshinki’s first dance track in about a year, since “Superstar” (released July 2011).

Tohoshinki met with their Japanese fans through a large-scale event.

According to Japanese media such as Sankei Sports on 1 July, Tohoshinki began their large-scale fanmeet event tour in Saitama Super Arena on 30 June. The (fanmeet) tour this time, which will see 100,000 audiences, is of the largest-scale to ever be held in the history of the Japanese music industry.

Tohoshinki’s fanclub event this time, titled “The Mission”, includes segments such as a quiz corner with fans, allowing the fans to have a fun time.

Tohoshinki revealed a jacket picture for their new song

The popular Korean male duo Tohoshinki revealed a jacket picture for their newest single “Android”(on sale July 11th) for the very first time on 13th.

The photo shoot was done in mid April between their dome tour in Tokyo area. In order to express the feeling of android and near future world, they used special effect in shooting such as delaying the speed of shutter and controlling light by changing timing of steel camera of shooting. The photo was taken off focus only on metallic parts on their arms which has high light reflection.

About a new dance number after a year, Yunho commented “It’s a number to challenge to Tohoshinki’s limit. We had a hard time in recording since this song contains many difficult words. However, we sang with a message from us in this song so I would like many people to listen”

From the 24th, the commercial for “Medical Shine” will be on air, in which their new song is used as a CM song.

The movie “I AM”, based on the stories of the artists under SM Entertainment, will premiere in Korea on 21 June.

“I AM” premiered in Japan on 2 June, and received an explosive response locally. It was the best selling movie during the weekend that it began screening, winning a landslide victory. A-Nation “Stadium Fes.” will be held at the Nagai Stadium, Osaka on 18 August (Saturday) and 19 August (Sunday) and at the Ajinomoto Stadium, Tokyo on 25 August (Saturday) and 26 August (Sunday). The first batch of performing artists was released today, and it has been decided for top artists including Big Bang, EXILE, Ayumi Hamasaki, Super Junior and Tohoshinki to perform.

For the first day of “Stadium Fes.” at the Nagai Stadium Osaka on 18 August (Saturday), Every Little Thing, EXILE, mihimaru GT, 3rd Generation J Soul Brothers and Sonar Pocket will be performing. The following day, on 19 August (Sunday), AAA, Acid Black Cherry, Do As Infinity, Ketsumeishi, Tohoshinki and TRF will be performing.
