Translation 110520 A South American Group Has Plagiarized TVXQ?

We will look into the problem.”

With the Hallyu Wave spreading further out and into the global community, there has been an increasing number of cases where people are plagiarizing K-Pop or using it for commercial purposes with no permission to do so. A representative of the K-Pop industry stated, “It shows just how much the influence of K-Pop has grown. However, the singers and agencies incur great damages from such acts. It is pertinent that a solution is created to stop illegal plagiarism.”

News 110518 Second SM Entertainment Concert in Paris Sells Out in Minutes

Tickets for an extra concert for SM Town Live in Paris scheduled for June 11 sold out within minutes thanks to an explosive response by European K-pop fans, following the first show.

Booking for the June 11 show opened at 10 a.m. on Monday through online ticketing agencies such as Live Nation and Fnac. The sites temporarily crashed under heavy traffic, and the tickets were completely sold in just 10 minutes.

The second date was added after fans snapped up all the tickets for the June 10 concert in just 15 minutes when online booking opened on April 26. That caused some tickets to be traded on the black market, and some 300 K-pop fans demonstrated in front of the Louvre on May 1 demanding another date.

The concerts will be held at Le Zenith de Paris and feature several of SM’s top groups including TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee and f(x).

The company has held its Town Live concerts in Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo and Shanghai. They will return to the Tokyo Dome on Sept. 3 and 4 for some 100,000 fans.

Tohoshinki, SHINee, BEAST, MBLAQ, 2PM, 2AM, Supernova, FT Island, SG Wannabe, Miss A, Secret, SISTAR, f(x), 4minute, IU and ZE:A – A total of 16 groups of artists came together in the Live event “Tokyo Legend 2011.” This is the first time such a grand K-pop event has been attempted in Japan, and before the performance, there was a press conference held on the same day (14 May), at the concert location Saitama Super Arena.

Q: How do you feel when ‘Before U Go’ was at the no.1 spot in Korean chart

I mean thanks to fans all over the world that always support us and inspire us to continue our work and success now.

Q: Would DBSK plan to have a concert in Thailand?
YH: I’ve always thought about that, we’d like to have a concert in Thailand , all over Asia and around the world but we just had 4 new songs. We’d like to create more good songs, please be patient because we haven’t had any plans right now.

Q: What is your plan in Thailand this time?

After a period of 2 years and 3 months since the release of the 4th album, TVXQ starts their Korean promotional activities with the fifth album “Keep Your Head Down”, which has swept the first place in various music programs for 3 weeks continually, together with the repackage album “Before U Go”.

Their goodbye stages which start from Music Bank on the 22nd of April, and move on to Music Core on the 23rd of April and lastly to Inkigayo on the 24th of April, marks a beautiful end to their promotion.
