Changmin’s message to Lee Jong Soo

Hyung… I think the words I said most often to you.. were ‘I’m sorry’…
Really.. The misfortune of meeting the wrong partner meant that we never had enough time to practice, and that probably didn’t put your heart at ease at all..
You saw me feeling bad every time we saw each other, but you always reassured me and told me it was okay… I’m.. so grateful…^^
For the past two months that I’ve spent with you, I’ve sincerely loved you, and followed your lead…^^
Thanks to you, I’ve become a brighter person… and the past two months of my life were filled with happiness…
I believe that I’ll continue to look up to you as ‘Lee Jong Soo’, the hyung I love…
We spent the Summer of 2013 together.. and it was hotter than ever, wasn’t it…?^^
Let’s keep seeing each other and continuing our legacy as the Blazing Brothers^^
I love you♡^,,,^V

[TRANS] 130703 ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master’ Viewers Are Moved By Max Changmin’s Tears, He’s Amazing Though He Lost

Max Changmin shed some emotional tears last night.

The episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ that aired on the 2nd of July showed the celebrity team’s last bowling match, which was against the Gwangju Ssangchoon-dong team.

On this day, Max Changmin was the last to play, with the fate of the game resting in his hands. Max Changmin had escaped his title as ‘The Fool of Bowling’ and was slowly but surely making his spot as an ace in the team. That effort shone through in his latest match. Max Changmin showcased an amazing concentration as he hit a spare for each round.

However, he could not escape his nerves. Max Changmin had to put his ball down and take a deep breath to control his pace. Unfortunately, Max Changmin lost the match to his opponent Park Dong Hyuk’s strike. His eyes were brimming with tears because he felt sorry and disappointed.

Although Max Changmin was unable to gift his team with a victory, everyone was surprised by his concentration and speed of improvement. He congratulated his opponent’s victory with tears running down his face.

Max Changmin said, “I tried to get myself ready from the middle of Lee Soo Geun’s match, but because it’s a match, my palms got sweaty and the ball slid off my thumb. Although I’ll have a lot of regrets about this bowling match, I did my best and didn’t let my concentration fall.”

[TRANS] 130424 Choikang Changmin, Contributes Lyrics For SHINee’s Album ‘First Time Writing For Another Artiste’

Choikang Changmin participated in (the production of) SHINee’s album as a lyricist.

The songs from SHINee’s 3rd official album “Chapter 2 ‘Why So Serious?’”, which will be released on 26 April, were revealed.

Among the songs included in the album this time, the track that is particularly attention-grabbing is the song titled “Can’t Leave (떠나지 못해)”. It has been a topic of discussion even before the track was revealed, as there was news that TVXQ’s Choikang Changmin had written the lyrics for this song.

This is the first time that Choikang Changmin has written lyrics for another singer.

Before writing lyrics for SHINee’s song this time, Choikang Changmin had shown his outstanding lyric-writing abilities through “Evergreen”, “Love In The Ice”, “12:34″, “Confession” and “I Swear”. In particular, he showed his capabilities as a musician through his expression of emotions.

According to an SM representative on 24 April via Newsen, “As Choikang Changmin is usually interested in writing lyrics, and has had thoughts of participating in the lyric-writing for other artistes, he contributed the lyrics for SHINee’s “Can’t Leave” this time.” The representative also revealed a behind-the-scenes story, “We received lyrics from many popular lyricists for this song, but it was decided that Choikang Changmin’s lyrics were the best among them, so it was chosen.”

Meanwhile, Choikang Changmin is currently active as a permanent cast member of KBS2TV’s “Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety And Sports”, and TVXQ’s 5-dome tour will begin in Saitama, Japan on 27 April.

[TRANS] 130424 Max Changmin Says, “Debuting At A Young Age, I Was Knocked Down Left And Right”

Max Changmin’s hidden competitiveness came out during ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’.

During the episode KBS 2TV’s ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ that aired on the 23rd of April, the celebrity team went against the Mokdong Ping-pongs.

On this day, Max Changmin was the first one up to bat against the Mokdong Ping-pongs. He was more nervous about it than anyone else as he had been unable to participate in the last competition against the Sangdo-dong team and was less skilled at table tennis than his team members. Not only this, but his opponent’s considerable talent and his nerves had him making mistake after mistake.

Because of this, the Mokdong Ping-pongs were able to clinch an easy win over the singer and Max Changmin became extremely discouraged. After the competition, Max Changmin reproached himself as he said, “I was so nervous. Why am I a man of such poor caliber?”

However, he expressed his passion and competitiveness for table tennis as he confessed, “I used to be really competitive. But I was knocked down left and right because I had made my debut a a young age and was locked in competitions within the group and with other groups. So I found myself making excuses for myself about losing to others, and that put me at ease. But I think I’ve found my competitive streak again through table tennis.”

[TRANS] 130417 ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master’ Max Changmin Is Deemed By His Opponent As ‘The Easiest To Beat’

[TRANS] 130417 ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master’ Max Changmin Is Deemed By His Opponent As ‘The Easiest To Beat’

The episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ that aired on the 16th showed Max Changmin looking offended at being chosen by his opponents as the person who looked the easiest to beat.

On this day’s episode, the celebrity team of Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Kim Byung Man, Park Sung Ho, Max Changmin, Jo Dal Hwan and Minho went up against the Sangdo-dong team of Park Seon Wook, Lee Sang Hee, Kang Eun Soon, Jo Han Sung, Kang Bong Seok, Kwon Min Seon and Kim Young Rae in a battle of table tennis.

Before the competition began, Sangdo-dong’s Kwon Min Seon was asked, “Which member of the celebrity team would you like to go up against?” and shyly picked Max Changmin.

Following this, Kang Ho Dong asked, “Who would be your ideal type?” and was met by an unexpected answer of Kwon Min Seon choosing Kim Byung Man instead of Max Changmin.

Max Changmin was unable to hide his surprise and when he was told by Kwon Min Seon that she had chosen him because of his lack of table tennis skills, as she herself had not been playing for long, he had everyone laughing with his retort, “Oh~ (You chose me) because I’d be the easiest to beat?”

Meanwhile, the celebrity team was unable to beat the Sangdo-dong team, even with their hidden ace Jo Dal Hwan, much to the disappointment of the show’s viewers.
