TVXQ’s Yunho has been chosen as the ambassador to ‘Korea Food for the Hungry International’!

He’ll accept the official ambassador plaque on the 3rd at 1PM KST. He actually got to know the ‘Korea Food for the Hungry International’ through KBS 1TV’s ‘Hope Road’, when he worked to build an education center in Ghana.

He’ll be working with the 24 other ambassadors from the KFHI to meet with children who suffer from poverty and illnesses, and work his best to spread the knowledge of helping these children.

Congratulations to Yunho!

As you know, SBS Three Days, Yoochun’s fifth drama and maybe his last one before enlistment, will premiere at 22:00 KST on March 5th (Wednesday). For this drama, Yoochun has been working harder than any of his previous dramas due to the overlapping schedule with Seafog’s filming and intense action scenes. Just some days ago, we also knew that Yoochun got injured during the filming of this drama and because of that, many have been quite upset. However, we can’t just sit there and get discouraged, let’s unite and do something to show our support for him. We should support this drama more than any of his previous drama. For his previous dramas, we did not trend anything, but this time, we determine to trend for him and get the tag on Worldwide trending list. To do that, we alone can’t do much, we need your great help.

We do not care where you come from, whether you are group A’s fans, or group B’s fans, or individual fans, or drama fans, whether you come from Asian, America, Europe or Australia, as long as you care for and support Yoochun or you are genuinely interested in Three Days, please give us a hand to trend for him. DBSKpictureofyouJaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, and Yunho are named in the article below as possibly entering the military soon. Only they know their personal time frames for this mandatory obligation to the Korean military. it is an inevitable thing, and it will be best for us to mentally ‘gear up’ to survive their absence. After all, they are family to us.  There are many innovative activities that can be done by the fans while they are in service, and hopefully the time will pass quickly and safely. Let’s keep loving all of these young men.

In South Korea it is an obligation of all males between the ages of 18 to 35 to serve their military service. The length of service varies depending on the military branch: 21 months for Army and Marines, 23 months for Navy, 24 months for Air Force. The non-active duty service, e.g. civil service or public service worker, is from 24 months to 36 months. Athletes who win medals at the Olympic Games or gold medals at the Asian Games are granted exemptions but still have to serve four weeks in basic training.

 

Aha, I see a loophole for Kim Soo Hyun: Someone who is at least 400 years old doesn’t have to serve in the military, right?

[News] 140216 C-JeS Entertainment and AVEX come to an agreement on JYJ-related matters

C-JeS Entertainment and AVEX‘s long legal battle has been resolved.

 

On the 16th, C-JeS Entertainment wrote on their official homepage, “C-JeS (JYJ) and AVEX has agreed to end all the legal battles we have had. C-JeS (JYJ) and AVEX will no longer meddle in each other’s affairs.“

 

Last year in January, AVEX was told to stop asserting their sole management rights for JYJ in Japan, and were told to pay C-JeS Entertainment 660,000,000 JPY (about 6.5 million USD) in damages.

 

C-JeS said, “After our win last year, AVEX appealed the ruling. In the end, through the Tokyo High Court’s mediation, we were able to settle on an agreement.“

C-JeS’ CEO Baek Chang Joo said, “We’re thankful that the Japanese judicial branch gave us the 1st ruling of securing JYJ’s Japanese promotions, and also for them for leading the 2nd agreement. With this, we have finished all fights related to the Japanese promotions. Now that AVEX and JYJ have agreed not to interfere in each others’ business, it means a lot in that JYJ’s Japanese promotions are officially confirmed as being secured legally. We are happy that JYJ’s long legal fight has all finished, and we hope to meet Japanese fans more often and closer through stages.“

TVXQ (U-Know Yunho, Max Changmin)’s Max Changmin has marked the end of his time on ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ with the celebrity team’s basketball match against a Seoul team.

A basketball match between the celebrity team and the Seoul team was featured during the episode of KBS 2TV’s variety show ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ that aired on the 4th. On this day, the celebrity team was able to beat out the Seoul team by a small margin, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

Max Changmin opened up about leaving the program and said, “In the past, I never used to participate in sports. Because my body isn’t that strong, I would easily get injured,” and “This was the first time that I’ve learned the joy of playing sports with others.”

Meanwhile, Max Changmin has been appearing on the show since it began last April. Till now, Max Changmin has participated in the show’s table tennis, bowling, badminton and basketball matches, bringing laughter and emotions to the show’s viewers.
