[TRANS] 130414 Kim Junsu Wins The Best Korean Male Singer Award At A Chinese Music Awards Ceremony
Kim Junsu’s English single ‘UNCOMMITTED’ has won the Best Korean Male Singer Award at the ‘V-chart awards’, held by China’s biggest MV site ‘Yinyue Tai’ on the 13th.
At the first awards ceremony held by the site, Kim Junsu was given the Best Korean Male Singer Award, which was based on a voting poll which fans from all over the world participated in. Kim Junsu’s win was based on his music video’s success on the V-charts during 2012, as well as the votes that were tabulated.
Kim Junsu’s first English single ‘Uncommitted’ is a melodious R&B song that features a collaboration with ‘Bruce Automatic’, the Sony Music composer who has worked with The Wanted and Leona Lewis, and was extremely popular in China, South America and Europe.
C-JeS Entertainment stated, “We believe this award is more meaningful because it included Kim Junsu’s rankings on the V-charts in 2012. Kim Junsu is extremely happy and thankful to have received an award at an overseas awards ceremony with no promotions other than releasing the music video and holding concerts, and he plans to give his thanks through a video soon.”
A representative in the music industry stated, “After JYJ’s Tokyo Dome concert (The return of the JYJ), ‘Uncommitted’ topped Amazon Japan’s K-POP charts, proving just how popular the song is. The reception from Europe and South America has been explosive since Kim Junsu’s 13-city world tour last year.”

JYJ’s Park Yoochun will be performing a new track at JYJ’s Tokyo Dome Concert ’2013 JYJ Concert in Tokyo dome The return of the JYJ’ from the 2nd till the 4th of April.
C-JeS Entertainment stated, “Park Yoochun will be performing a new composition during the upcoming concert. Unlike the other members, who have each released a solo album, Park Yoochun has been focusing on his activities as an actor but has made the decision to surprise the fans with a new song. It will be a great gift for the many fans who have been waiting for the Tokyo Dome concert.”
As a Britpop song, Park Yoochun’s new track is titled ‘Walking in Spring with Her’ and contains lyrics that depict the anticipation and nerves a man feels when he’s starting a new relationship.
Park Yoochun stated, “We’ll be greeting our Japanese fans for the first time in a while at Tokyo Dome. Though there were times of sorrow in the long period of time we had to wait, we are able to greet each other once again with smiles and start anew. I wanted to express this in a song as a gift for our fans. I created the melody and lyrics with the anticipation we feel for the coming of Spring in mind.”
Meanwhile, JYJ will be holding concerts at Tokyo Dome for the next three days from the 2nd of April.

The repackage album of JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong has been met with an explosive response.
Kim Jaejoong, who has been reviewed as a ‘meaningful evolution of the idol singer’, recently released his repackage album on the 26th, which includes the original tracks from his rock album, as well as two extra compositions.
The repackage album, which contains the sophisticated electronic dance track ‘Only Love’ and the melodious R&B ballad ‘Kiss B’, has been met with an explosive response both on and offline all across Asia.
Kim Jaejoong’s management agency C-JeS Entertainment revealed, “The first 50,000 copies of Kim Jajeoong’s repackage album were sold out as soon as they were released, and we’ve already been flooded with extra orders.”
The album’s popularity continued with ‘Only Love’ and ‘Kiss B’ topping the iTunes Charts in Thailand, Japan and the Philippines as soon as they were released online.
Meanwhile, Kim Jaejoong will be participating in a donation ceremony to UNICEF as the representative of JYJ on the 5th of March. He will then continue his Asia Tour, starting in Shanghai on the 17th of March and going on to Hong Kong and Nanjing.

Hallyu group JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong (27) has proved his popularity in the Philippines.
According to his management agency C-JeS Entertainment, “All copies of Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini album ‘I’ were sold out offline in the Philippines.”
Ahead of this, all 120,000 copies that were initially printed were sold out as well. The album also topped album sales charts in Taiwan and Japan, and ranked second on the Billboard World Album Charts.
Kim Jaejoong is planning to release his repackage album ‘Y’ on the 26th. It will include two new tracks including ‘Only Love’, as well as a special photobook. Pre-orders will be taken from the 13th to the 19th of this month.
Kim Jaejoong is currently preparing for his Thailand performance on the 17th and is also planning fansign events in March.

The music video of ‘Mine’, the title track of Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini album ‘I’, has topped the Korean video category of Yinyuetai’s V Charts, China’s biggest music video site, for the second consecutive week.
‘I’ also ranked second on the US Billboard World Album charts.
C-JeS Entertainment, the agency of JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, stated that this proves that Kim Jaejoong’s popularity has spread from Asia to other continents such as North America.
Recently, Kim Jaejoong’s ‘One Kiss’ topped the iTunes rock charts in nine countries including Singapore and Indonesia. Though ‘I’ is a mini album, it topped the weekly, daily, and real-time Hanteo Charts. It also topped album sales charts in Taiwan and Japan, proving that Kim Jaejoong is extremely popular both domestically and overseas.
Kim Jaejoong wrapped up his ‘Your, My and Mine’ concert in success with 16,000 fans at the Ilsan KINTEX on the 26th and 27th and will be holding a concert in Thailand on the 17th of February.
