Tohoshinki revealed a jacket picture for their new song
The popular Korean male duo Tohoshinki revealed a jacket picture for their newest single “Android”(on sale July 11th) for the very first time on 13th.
The photo shoot was done in mid April between their dome tour in Tokyo area. In order to express the feeling of android and near future world, they used special effect in shooting such as delaying the speed of shutter and controlling light by changing timing of steel camera of shooting. The photo was taken off focus only on metallic parts on their arms which has high light reflection.
About a new dance number after a year, Yunho commented “It’s a number to challenge to Tohoshinki’s limit. We had a hard time in recording since this song contains many difficult words. However, we sang with a message from us in this song so I would like many people to listen”
From the 24th, the commercial for “Medical Shine” will be on air, in which their new song is used as a CM song.

A dance version music video of the title track of JYJ’s Kim Junsu (XIA)’s first official solo album, “Tarantallegra”, will be revealed.
Kim Junsu’s management agency, C-Jes Entertainment, stated on the afternoon of 7 June, that a dance version music video for “Tarantallegra” has been prepared in order to promote the album (further) to overseas fans.
According to C-Jes, the dance version music video this time has been re-edited to focus more on the performance, unlike the (original) music video, which was created based on the unconventional concept of a wizard’s hypnotic appearance as well as both the masculine and feminine appeal.
In the music video this time, Kim Junsu has perfectly taken on the high-level choreography by the famous American choreographer, Jeri Slaughter, who is also the choreographer for Christina Aguilera, presenting a music video of high-quality which is rarely seen in Korea.
The director of the music video said, “The original music video was focused on Kim Junsu’s masculine and feminine appeals, while the dance version music video this time has been edited to include more of the group dances. Scenes that were not seen in the original music video have also been added. It is more of an entirely new music video than an edited version.”
On another note, Kim Junsu’s dance version music video will be released via JYJ’s official Youtube channel (www.youtube.com/CJESJYJ) on 11 June.

Although there are mixed responses about the concept of the commercial, the CM song has gone viral. The lyrics which go “Whatever pain, whatever sadness, forget them all” are included in the song, which suits the concept of the CF perfectly. Jong Geun Dang distributed this song for free via its official homepage and Facebook page at the end of last year.

Tohoshinki’s hot popularity in Japan has been proven once again, with their new single and concert DVD ranked first on the pre-order charts.
On 25 May, Tohoshinki’s new single “Android” ranked first on the daily charts on major Japanese music sites including Tower Records, Mu-Mo shop and Amazon. In particular, they attracted attention for sweeping the 1st to 3rd spots on the pre-order charts for Tower Records.
“Android” is a new dance track that Tohoshinki will be releasing in Japan about a year after their previous single “Superstar”. It is a song with an appeal suitable for Summer. Also, the first press releases will be available in both CD and DVD versions. The Japanese fans are anticipating it.
Aside from the new single, the concert DVD will also go on sale. The DVD includes footage from the large-scale Japanese tour which was held from January to April. It will be released in DVD and Blu-Ray versions consecutively, and will come with a poster. It has been very well-received by fans.

JYJ member Junsu and his older brother JUNO were both ranked side by side in the Oricon Top 10.
As of 24 May, on the latest Oricon album rankings, (Week of 28 May, data from 14-20 May), Junsu’s first solo album “Tarantallegra” which was released on 20th in Japan was ranked at number 9. For JUNO, his single “Everything” which was on sale 16 May was ranked at no. 10 on the singles ranking.
Recently, it doesn’t seem to be too difficult for Korean singers (Groups) to rank on the top 10 of Oricon at the same time. However, it is unusual for brothers to both be ranked within the top 10 at the same time, so this result gained attention.
