Wow!!! What a surprising ending to Episode 12. Yi Gak planted one on Bak Ha ‘right in the kisser”. I figured he would come to the realization sooner or later that he loved her. All the signs were there all along, but what was a complete give-a-way was Yi Gak’s reaction to the call about the fire, and his impassioned speech at the end of Episode 12. . He threw everything up in the air and raced to rescue Bak Ha from danger. I believe by this time he was the only one who didn’t know that he loved her.
In Episode 11, Yi Gak fights his attraction for Bak Ha with every fiber of his being because he feels that marrying Se Na will reveal the true circumstances behind the Crown Princess’ death and enable he and his men to return to Joseon. I don’t believe that Yi Gak/Tae Yong has ever been fooled into thinking that Se Na had sincere feelings for him. She just shows him how possessive she is of everything Bak Ha has, and she has no finesse or manners fitting for a Crown Princess. His heart follows its natural course and settles on Bak Ha because of her warmth, her vulnerability, and her candidness. Yi Gak and Bak Ha are a perfect match.
I am a bit disappointed in the pettiness of the Grandmother’s actions. She doesn’t listen when Yi Gak/Tae Yong tries to explain to her the circumstances of the fire; assuming that he has abandoned the project on a whim. She is so intent on securing Se Na as Tae Yong’s wife that she is blinded to all of the manipulation and evil ways that this woman has. Thankfully, YI Gak can see her ways. She does not attract him.
Lastly, the drama’s ruthless, professional killer, Tae Mu, is rapidly losing control of his mind and his senses. He is passionately enraged and possessive of Se Na to the extents of using any means possible including manipulation and extortion to secure her and the company. Once he finds out that Bak Ha is Se Na’s younger sister and the daughter to inherit Chairwoman Jang of Hong Kong’s company shares–he immediately begins to plot to gain control of the company by using Se Na. Lying about her family circumstances has set Se Na up for a major fall. This is the typical chaebol narrative with a truly sinister twist! What I believe is even more of a twist is the fact that Se Na and Bak Ha may be blood sisters. That discovery will heat things up!
I am excited to see Episodes 13 and 14 next week to see how this continues to play out. I will be happiest when Yi Gak sends Se Na packing. Of course, the writer and director are going to drag this out–but the drama, yes, drama, will be coming to a head real soon. As I said in a previous summary, I believe that I know the end to this plot–but I am not a teaser.
Let’s just keep watching and enjoy the splendid acting and–oh, yeah Yoochun-ah– better come up for some air by the next episode. We love you both. 🙂

The hair and makeup directors, stylist, choreographer, music video director, photographer that contributed to Kim Junsu’s new record reveal its concept and strategy.
The title “UNEQUALLED” represents Junsu’s unique creativity and identity, penetrating into the overall concept of the album.
“Kim Junsu is a world-class artist. He is a leader among numerous idols and what he picks turn to a trend. The ideas for this album distinctive in that the hairstyle shows various colors that represent a series of feelings covered by one song. It also features Orient’s emotional base and a hint of the West” said the hair and makeup director.
Moon Ju-yeong, the makeup director, was handed the baton: “the overall concept is very intense, dense, deep and differentiated from any other idol singers, in a word, ‘strong’. The makeup features intense, mysterious eyes.”
The costume stylist gives an account of Junsu’s stage clothes: “Attention to details added to the foundation of on-trend see-through look and slim suit design. Geometric patterns and modern materials realize a ‘modern heritage’ concept that mixes and matches the modern trends and heritages.”
“At a word, Kim Junsu is a triple threat, which refers to an individual proficient in the disciplines of acting, singing, and dancing represented by Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and Christina Aguilera. His world-class talents are limitless. I used many hard-edge movements corresponding to his music, and as always, Junsu did wonders” said Jeri Slaughter, choreographer of JYJ’s worldwide album.
Kim Yeong-jun who took photos of Junsu for the record jacket reports: “It was a satisfactory shooting as he showed various emotions through his eyes. Junsu is an intriguing subject that has both a masculine, strong appeal and feminine beauty in the face.”

Hi Everyone. Welcome back to JYJ Fantalk for sure. This site was down due to such a high volume of use that it discombobulated the server. JYJ Fantalk had to be switched to a server with a larger capacity. Thank God for the skills of my husband John who labored for hours and hours to transfer 4 gigs worth of posts and pictures to the new server. I love you, Honey. So now it is on to new adventures with JYJCY and JYJ Fantalk. Be seeing ya!! Momma Cha
[NEWS] K-Pop Fever In South America “Grow Twice As More”
CNN Chile reporter Stavros Mosjos that came to report for JYJ’s Chile concert shared, “Now K-Pop that was limited to certain fan base has now reached the public. Now is the perfect time for K-Pop to spread out to the general public.”
The furthest country from Korea, Santiago, Chile, shows Kia, Hyundai, LG, and Samsung company’s billboards are lined up on the way to downtown from Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez airport. 1 of three to four cars on the street are Korea. K-Pop is greeting an important time as Korea’s brand power is already significant in South America.
All the K-Pop fans, concert promoter, and press have stated that this year is the golden opportunity for K-Pop to spread K-Pop in South America.
According to the fans in Chile there are about 2-3 students in each classroom who are K-Pop fans. Although it only reached the mania however due to the ardent fans now K-Pop music has started to spread out to the general public.
CNN Chile reporter Stavros Mosjos that came to report for JYJ’s Chile concert shared, “Now K-Pop that was limited to certain fan base has now reached the public. Now is the perfect time for K-Pop to spread out to the general public.”
Concert promoters expect the current K-Pop of 20,000 to 30,000 market audiences to grow more than twice the size within this year. JYJ’s concert promoter Noix company CEO Gonzalo Garcia stated, “Korean artists popularity will more than double within one year. K-Pop is surely attracting quite a lot of attention.”
Some say that this type of popularity can be a temporary K-Pop boom however if you look further back Chie’s hallyu wave began much earlier. Majority of JYJ’s fan that visited JYJ’s concert March 9 has been a fan of JYJ since 5-6 years ago. This is even before the K-Pop boom started.
Cristina Jorquera, 25 shared that her Korean name is Han Boa said she became interested in Korean artists through Japanese animation. She held an interview after the concert with OSEN stating, “I liked Japanese animation which had me take interest in Japan’s pop culture which in turn made me a fan of BoA and TVXQ who were active in Japan at that time. I came to know that they were all Korean artists which led me to take interest in Korea.” Not only that she replied that majority of JYJ’s fans have been waiting for their performance for over 5 years, which tells us this is not a temporary boom.
Especially the K-Pop artists are already influencing the Chile’s youth values so it’s expected that K-Pop will become a larger influence. The stories of K-Pop artists making a name for themselves on their own seem to have contributed to being more favorable towards Korean artists. Another fan Nicole Escobar, 27 stated, “The social polarization in South America is very severe which limits the youth of dreaming of becoming successful however seeing the Korean artists that endure the difficult trainee period to become successful singers allow us to have hope ‘I can do it.’ Many fans like their stories of overcoming hardship.”
The fans have gathered actively together with other Korean artists fans to share and exchange information. Nicole Escobar, “International fan clubs are community of destiny. Although my friend is a fan of After School since there is no one in the fan club who can fluently speak Korean or English. Therefore they will request to a Super Junior fan who can speak English to translate some information. So there are these fan clubs that gather together to socialize by sharing information. If the numbers of fans are small then the Korean artists will not come to visit us, therefore it’s fairly important for all the fans to unite.”
Nevertheless there are still many things that are lacking. Fans pointed out that for K-Pop’s popularity to grow further within Chile the sharing of information needs to be more active. Cristina Jorquera expressed,“It’s is really difficult to find the information of my favorite artist in my language. More than the music that is made worldwide composers and new trend, we need the access to the information. We can even barely find one official homepage in Spanish.”
There is another assignment to solve. The reporters in Chile shared, “If album license is issued properly and CD is distributed, more fans who will purchase for $25-30 rather than purchasing it for $300-$400 from online.”
Most of all, the willingness of K-Pop stars towards the fans in South America will be the deciding factor to K-Pop sensation’s future. And more artists including Super Junior and B2ST have been reported to be preparing for concerts in South America. Big Bang, Super Junior, SHINee, 2NE1 are also popular in Chile, according to the reporters in Chile. As the interests towards K-Pop increase, there will be a higher demand for local events and concerts.
