After a video of TVXQ at the Thailand airport was revealed, it has become a hot issue.

Recently, videos and photos were posted on an online community with the title “Yunho shouting at fans”. This post was chronicling the airport appearance of TVXQ who were leaving Thailand after ending their schedule in a visit to Thailand on February 9th for a CF shooting.

Although it was a situation where the time for TVXQ to board the plane was running tight, there was an overwhelming number of fans who had gathered, making it difficult to even move forward for a single step. It was a situation which even the bodyguards could not control, so U-Know Yunho eventually took the lead personally to resolve the problem.

U-Know Yunho took off the sunglasses he was wearing and shouted “Excuse me” in the direction of the fans. Although at first glance it seemed like he was angry, it was the best solution for the safety of the fans and in order to be able to board the plane.

In particular, according to fan accounts depicting that situation, U-Know Yunho personally helped fans up after they had fallen down. It was known that even in an urgent situation, he was looking out for the safety of the fans.

After hearing all of the ‘hooplah’ concerning Yunho’s “anger” at the fans at Suvarnabhumi Airport, I decided to review the video for myself. All that I can say is that under the dangerous, crowded circumstances Yunho showed a wealth of self-control. ‘Oppa’ always concerns himself with the health and safety of his fans. There is no more to this than that!. 

On another note: I have observed how some people disrespect Jung Yunho and I can only say that they are looking at the outside of this man–the true worth is within him.

Thank you always for your passionate support for Tohoshinki.

Since the nationwide tour began on 18 Jan, we have had many opinions from everyone via support messages as well as surveys. Also, from 18 January, we began accepting new membership applications for the official fanclub 『Bigeast』, which has undergone some changes to its service content as well as course, and have received many new applications as well as many renewed memberships. We sincerely thank you.

Based on the aforementioned, the decision was made by the respective companies after careful consideration for an additional day to be added to each of the Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome concerts to be held in April, so 3 days each, and a total of 6 performances will be carried out!

We think that this would be a great opportunity for more people to go and watch Tohoshinki’s performances.

Please anticipate the Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome performances,which will be the finale for the nationwide tour of the largest scale thus far (with 26 shows across 11 locations, mobilising 550,000 audiences).

“Today, it is my treat.”

This day is really a day that is “lucky”, right? Being able to be dine with oppa, from what seemed like a dream, tens of fans gathered on that day, probably having faced a sleepless night in anticipation of it. In an unprecedented event, Yunho and his fans met on the 6th of February, to have a joyous celebration.

At 7pm on the 6th, they met Yunho at a restaurant, and hordes of fans both local and international gathered outside; a simple question returns the answer that today is Yunho’s birthday. Each fan came bearing gifts, sincere and heartfelt, staring right at Yunho who was sitting inside.

At this moment, they heard Yunho’s voice ring out from the inside.

“If you would like to eat, please come in~”

Indeed this is one way to show love to your multitude of fans. Yunho had seen them wait disparagingly outside, and called them from inside to join them for the meal. Who would have thought that Yunho would take such good care of his fans? Each face showed disbelief, but as Yunho looked on, he was beamed at each one of them.

He was far too considerate. Yunho took care of the orders for each of the fans, and while waiting for the food to be served, greeted each fan. When the potato soup reached the table, the fans said in unison “oppa, we will eat well,” before proceeding with their meal. Yunho just kept his pleasant and pleased expression, and watched the fans eat.

When all had had their fill, Yunho left the restaurant with the fans, at there was a chorus of “oppa, we’ve eaten till we were full,” “that was extremely delicious,” “happy birthday,” amongst other cries of gratitude. It was just like a fan meeting, and it was truly a memorable birthday.

Yunho shyly waved his hand in response, and when receiving the fans’ gifts, thanked each one of them, true to his mannerly idol form, and the fans were just as polite. After a reluctant goodbye, Yunho sat in his own car and left.

What style did Yunho have on that day? He was completely un-idol like, wearing a white T-shirt, yellow-lined black coat, and comfortable pants, but he still exuded the same amount of charisma as when he’s on stage, with his newly dyed hair, and he looked put together.

Even the usual disguises were gone, such as the idol’s favorite face mask and hat, and he didn’t seem to mind the looks he got from all around. He did not attempt to cove anything up, but talked directly to his fans. This is probably how Yunho has secured the love of his fans even after all of these years.

For Yunho and Changmin, as TVXQ, in their activities not just within the country but also around the world, they are international stars who receive the love of fans worldwide, but in front of fans, they are like oppas and friends. We hope that they will continue to build these relationships with their fans.

Yunho’s Fans Donate To Charity In Celebration of His 27th Birthday

To celebrate TVXQ member Yunho‘s 27th birthday, fans all over the world have donated funds to charity in his name.

Yunho’s birthday was on February 6th, and his fans have donated an impressive large sum of $21,000 to the Community Chest of Korea as well as the Korean Animal Welfare Association.

The first time Yunho got involved with the Korean Animal Welfare Association was through a special adoption campaign for celebrities via fashion & culture magazine, Oh! Boy. The association reported on their Twitter page that $1,700 was donated in Yunho’s name, and they expressed their deep gratitude.

Members of Yunho’s Japanese fan blog ‘ONE‘ also donated nearly $20,000 to a social welfare association in his hometown of Gwangju, celebrating the birthday of their favorite celebrity.

Additionally, his fans in China volunteered their time with the less fortunate, and donated enough money to support a young girl living in a difficult situation in China so that she can live comfortably for an entire year.

Yunho has been known to take a special interest in social welfare, which explains why his fans chose to celebrate his birthday in such a matter.

In the past, the singer has generously shared his wealth by donating scholarships to his alma mater, among other things.

In related news, Yunho & Changmin are currently in the middle of their ‘TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2012~ TONE‘ in Japan.

To Our Yunnie-Bear: A Birthday Message

Dear Yunho,

I wanted to think up something incredibly witty for your birthday, like a funny story, or a series of pictures with accompanying narrative, or something suave and engaging. I wanted to create something worthy of your amazingness, because you *are* amazing. However, the thought of smart-aleck comments and goofy pictures did not appeal to me at all when I thought of you, and I couldn’t understand why. I mean, I really enjoy comedic writing, and it’s your birthday, so why shouldn’t I want to give you and fellow fans a good birthday giggle?

I don’t know, but for some reason, when I think about you, I want to be sincere. Maybe it’s the way you smile when you’re tired, the way it doesn’t quite reach your eyes, but you try anyway. Perhaps it’s the selflessness of your leadership, over and over again, day after day, not just to your fellow member(s) and staff, but to us fans as well. We don’t call you Yunho Appa for nothing. 🙂 Possibly, it’s the way you throw yourself body and soul into everything you do, without fear of potential failure. Or perhaps it’s the child-like spirit that you display, inspite of the difficulties of life. Whatever the reasons, I just want you to know that I greatly admire and respect you. I also want to say that I worry about you, and pray for you all the time. If I could get close to you, I would try my best to take away some of the burdens you bear, even if it meant taking responsibility for them myself. I’d be miserable, because I don’t like taking care of other people (just being honest), but I’d do it anyway, because I love you, as much as a fan can love her bias without drifting over into obsession.

As it is, I live halfway across the world from you, and even if I didn’t, the chances of becoming your friend would be very slim indeed. As a matter of fact, I don’t even think we’d get along, having two opposite personalities. But I stil care about you, and pray for you, and cry for you, and try to understand you. Why? Because I choose to. You’re Yunho oppa. I can’t imagine going back to a world without you and your four brothers. You light up my day. When I’m depressed, I watch you laugh, head thrown back, eyes crinkled and shining. When I think I can’t do something, I watch your passion, and am deeply inspired. When I’m feeling lonely and unloved, I think about what the five of you went through (and still go through), and realize that I’m surrounded by people that love me for me. And that’s how I want to love you. For being you, and not just U-Know Yunho, dancer extraordinare and charismatic leader, but Jung Yunho, a young man who is trying to find his place in the world. Kinda sounds like myself, now that I think about it. (except for the man part) Maybe we have more in common than I thought.

[Trans] 120205 Celebrating TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun’s birthday! Fans amass 2 million won in donations and rent bus ads to show their support.

TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho and Super Junior’s Kyuhyun are both had their birthdays recently.

U-Know Yunho will be celebrating his birthday on 6 February. To give their well wishes, fans donated 2 Million won to the Animal Freedom Korea, as an exceptionally meaningful present. Last year, Yunho participated in the “Adoption activity with the Stars” and has an unfinished bond with Animal Rights Korea. To commemorate Yunho’s charity activities, fans gathered funds and donated 2 million won and did their part for the animal protection groups.

On 5 February, Yunho also revealed flower and cake, as well as the documents validating the donations on his personal site, and sent a message of gratitude to his fans.

Currently, TVXQ is holding their Japan nationwide tour, and Super Junior is holding their world tour as well.
