[Video] Butterfly… WWW: Who When Why by Kim Jaejoong + Butterfly by Joe Fazio

I also wanted to reshare this beautiful butterfly poem by Joe Fazio at www.poemhunter.com

We have a very ardent ‘Butterfly’ charming us all right now. 🙂

Butterfly…

Butterfly…my all..my own, Butterfly

My butterfly, I remember the
day we met. You bumped into me.
Well, sort of floated, from no where,
and from that moment, I recall what
I said, ‘Well, my little butterfly,
where did you come from.?

Butterfly, you laughed, and responded,
‘I picked you out, and just floated down,
and landed on your shoulder.

Butterfly, there are many that think
that a Butterfly, can’t laugh, but you did.

They think that a Butterfly, does not cry,
but you have.

Can a Butterfly be happy, cause happiness?
Butterfly, of mine…you did.

Can a Butterfly, cause one to nearly burst
with joy? Butterfly, you did and you have.

Butterfly, there is not a moment, since I
met you, that I can not recall.

Some might wonder what a butterfly, drinks.
Butterfly, shall we let them know, we became
intoxicated, as we sipped the nectar of life.

As my butterfly and I floated through the
wonders of earth, I wish we could share the
joy we found, with all of this planet.

Butterfly, shall we always be together?
Butterfly, I do not mean, just here on
earth, I mean until the stars stop shining.
Butterfly, I mean, until there is no moon…
no anything, but my Butterfly and I.

Butterfly…I think that we will. Butterfly,
I believe that we were meant to be.

[Trans] 120414 Park Yoowhan Mentions Park Yoochun In An Interview With Sports DongA

3. Oh who could this be? Isn’t it his majesty the crown prince!
When I arrived at the waiting room, hyung (Park Yoochun) was already there. Although we live together, we have not seen each other at home for a long time since we are both busy. As he was filming “Rooftop Prince” in Incheon, he also came by our set on Yeongjong Island. Perhaps it was because “Rooftop Prince” ranked first on the day he came. Hyung was smiling very widely.

4. “The Park Clan”, our staff members
Hyung and I have almost the same staff members. It has been more than a year since I began working with these people. If filming ends at dawn, they will come over to our house to stay the night. We are really like a sports team haha. ‘The Strongest K-POP Survival’ ‘Rooftop Prince’ Fighting!

[TRANS] 120412 JYJ Yoochun, “Rooftop Prince” Two-Episode Consecutive Broadcast Changed To A Single Episode

[TRANS] 120412 JYJ Yoochun, “Rooftop Prince” Two-Episode Consecutive Broadcast Changed To A Single Episode

SBS originally scheduled for two episodes of “Rooftop Prince” to be broadcast, but that was changed to a one-episode broadcast.

Due to the 19th Parliamentary Elections vote counting program being broadcast on 11 April, SBS originally planned for both episodes 7 and 8 of “Rooftop Prince” to be broadcast consecutively on 12 April. However, this was changed on the morning of 12 April, such that only episode 7 would be broadcast.

An SBS representative revealed over a phone interview with Joynews24 that, “Only the missed episode 7 of “Rooftop Prince”, will be broadcast. It was initially decided for two episodes to be broadcast consecutively, but due to various circumstances, only the 7th episode will be broadcast.”

While “Rooftop Prince” cancels its plans to have two episodes broadcast consecutively, anticipation is high for the competition between the Wednesday-Thursday dramas. “The Equator Man” was the only drama which did not have changes to its broadcast schedule, while “The King 2 Hearts” had two episodes broadcast consecutively.

[News] 120414 ‘The King 2Hearts’ Under Attack for Assumed Reference to Park Yoo Chun and Stalker Fans

[News] ‘The King 2Hearts’ Under Attack for Assumed Reference to Park Yoo Chun and Stalker Fans

Lee Seung Gi has suddenly come under fire on suspicions that he’s dissed Park Yoo Chun in his drama.

After netizens pointed out that a line of dialogue from the April 12 broadcast of MBC’s The King 2Hearts seemed like it was aiming a blow at SBS’ Rooftop Prince, fans of both dramas have been pitched into a battle regarding the line’s original intent.

The dialogue appeared in the scene where Hang Ah (Ha Ji Won) dances to Bo Peep Bo Peep to make the sad Jae Ha (Lee Seung Gi) laugh.

Hang Ah put on cute bear paws to dance out her cute dance, but Jae Ha only started scolding her, saying, “Are you going to hit your stalker fans with those?”

The line, however, seemed to refer to JYJ, Park Yoo Chun’s group, which was involved in an incident in which the members had been accused of using violence against their stalker fans.

The viewer boards of Rooftop Prince were swamped with posts about Lee Seung Gi’s line in The King 2Hearts, asking after the intent of the sudden reference to stalker fans.

Lee Seung Gi’s line probably wasn’t trying to be a direct hit at Park Yoo Chun and Rooftop Prince, but the fans were thoroughly ruffled anyway.

Before the Lee Seung Gi controversy, Lee Si Young started one of her own when she left a post on a DC Inside drama gallery (forum) that said ‘Rooftop Prince will catch up to The King 2Hearts’ and that she’ll ‘bet [her] wrists on it’.

She won’t be having her wrists taken away from her anytime soon because Rooftop Prince recently sprinted past The King 2Hearts, but The King 2Hearts fans have started coming up with movements to watch the drama on time for more viewership ratings, saying they won’t be leaving Lee Si Young’s wrists alone.

The battle between The King 2Hearts and Rooftop Prince is that fierce, and it’s getting more heated by the minute.

The King 2Hearts aired two episodes in a row on April 12, but its viewership ratings have been showing a definite downward trend, falling past those of Rooftop Prince. The King 2Hearts scored 11 percent and 12.5 percent in viewership ratings (AGB Nielsen Media Research) for an average of 11.75 percent on that day. Rooftop Prince, however, is on the rise with 12.5 percent, and KBS2’s The Equator Man is following suit with 10.8 percent.

[News] Is The Yellow Butterfly The Answer to ′Rooftop Prince′ Riddle?

The reappearance of the riddle – ‘What dies when it’s alive and is alive even when it dies?’ – has piqued the curiosity of the Rooftop Prince viewers.

In the April 12 broadcast of SBS’ Rooftop Prince, crown prince Lee Gak (Park Yoo Chun) became aware of the possible connection between Park Ha and Bu Yong (Lee Gak’s sister-in-law from his previous life in Joseon).

During the episode, the audience witnessed Lee Gak and Park Ha’s impromptu trip to Chuncheon with just a childhood picture as their guide.

Although they found the elementary school that Park attended as a child thanks to the help of a photo studio, Park Ha’s name was nowhere to be found in the school registry. They later found out that Park Ha’s childhood name was Park In Joo from President Jang, Park Ha’s biological mother.

Turning towards a sullen Park Ha, Lee Gak asked, “Is that your real name? How do you write your name in Chinese characters?” After learning of her Chinese character name, Lee Gak explained, “Your name signifies a lotus and a lotus is also known as ‘Bu Yong,’” recalling his sister-in-law from his previous life.

Then, Lee Gak asked Park Ha the same riddle he had asked Bu Yong many years ago. However, unlike Bu Yong who had answered correctly, Park Ha said, “Life, because living is not really living. We are all in a vegetative state.”

After the broadcast, viewers tried to play the role of ‘Rooftop Prince CSI experts’ and took a stab at solving the riddle.

One viewer said, “The answer [to the riddle] is Bu Yong. Not only is Han Ji Min’s name Bu Yong, the (Bu Yong) lotus blooms in the morning and withers at night.”

Another viewer said, “The correct answer is a butterfly. A caterpillar hardens into chrysalis and turns into a butterfly. The caterpillar lives a busy life but his transformation into a butterfly signifies that it dies when it is still live and is alive even when it dies.”

Previously on the drama, the yellow butterfly that was woven into Bu Yong’s veil was brought to life with Lee Gak’s tears and 300 years later, the same yellow butterfly linked Lee Gak with Yong Tae Yong in America. As such, the butterfly appears to be the answer to Lee Gak’s riddle.

Viewers are wondering when Lee Gak will finally discover Bu Yong’s reincarnation as Park Ha and how he will solve the secret of the yellow butterfly.

Editor’s Note:120330 Rooftop Prince–Dance, Dance, Splash!!…Yoochun Busts A Move

All of us avid fans know how beautifully Micky Yoochun can bust a dance move and make it look as if he invented dancing, savoir faire and all… Well, if you took a gander at his energetic dance moves in Episode Four of Rooftop Prince you would laugh so hard as to see stars. Everyone is assuming that Yi Gak is unbelievably lazy, not spoiled, and so no one guesses that the motivational, talented gyrater in the white costume is Yi Gak himself. As all of the Prince’s Men dance to help sell the strawberries for their kind benefactress Bak Ha–the people swarm to buy. The impetus–Yi Gak who has donned the costume to help the cause. As a matter of fact–he dances so hard that he swoons dramatically; and since it is assumed that he is a girl no one removes his costume.

While still clothed in this hot monstrosity, Yi Gak is frightened and angered by Bak Ha, who confides her decision to return to America, thinking that he is her long time actress friend. Without revealing his identity, Yi Gak walks away with the knowledge that he cannot tell his men of her decision. What will they do? Yi Gak watches TV at her friend’s apartment and sees “The Crown Princess” dressed in a wedding gown on the Shopping Channel. He takes a cab to the location and confronts Hong Se Na with her infidelity.

Yong Tae-Mu, his cousin who aspires to the company throne, comes to her rescue and hits Yi Gak so hard that he is thrown into the water and drowns much like two years previously. Tae Mu is horrified, thinking that he has killed two men, but miraculously Yi Gak survives.

We are left with a confused Crown Prince who decides that it is his duty to assume the character of the grandson to win his ‘true’ love. It will be intriquing to see where all of this is leading… Episode Five–we are waiting…

[TRANS] 120329 JYJ Which Cannot Be Heard In “Inkigayo”, Can Be Heard In “Rooftop Prince”

In the third episode of “Rooftop Prince”, which was broadcast on SBS on 28 March, it seems that compared to the attractive development of the plot, the melodious music is more attention grabbing. However, you may still miss it if you are not paying attention.

The music that appears when the crown prince’s 3-man consort, Song Man Bo (played by Lee Min Ho), Do Chi San (played by Choi Woo Shik) and Woo Yong Sul (played by Jung Suk Won), make a video call to the crown prince, Lee Gak (played by Park Yoochun), at the fast food joint is “Be My Girl” from JYJ’s first official album, “The Beginning”.

Aside from that, JYJ’s “Be The One”, also from “The Beginning”, appears when Park Ha (played by Han Ji Min) is at the departmental store with her mother.

It is normal for singer-turned-actors to have their songs played in the dramas, but for JYJ songs to appear in “Rooftop Prince” is something special for JYJ and their fans, since it is usually not easy to hear these songs on programmes. Although JYJ is able to appear in dramas, and appear actively in news programmes, they are still not able to appear on music programmes.

Perhaps someday we would be able to hear JYJ’s songs not as background music, but as live performances. And perhaps someday we will be able to see these three men stand proudly on the stage of music programmes.

[TRANS] 120330 JYJ Park Yoochun, “I Want To Repay The Popularity Of “Rooftop Prince” With Good Acting”

[TRANS] 120330 JYJ Park Yoochun, “I Want To Repay The Popularity Of “Rooftop Prince” With Good Acting”

JYJ’s Park Yoochun has expressed his love for the character he plays in “Rooftop Prince.”

Park Yoochun, who has been praised for his fresh acting in the SBS drama “Rooftop Prince” said,  “Actually, when I am on set, there is no time to check the responses so it is hard to have get a feel on this.” and “The people around have told me that the responses have been really good, so I feel really happy” he revealed.

In this drama, Yoochun plays the role of Joseon crown prince Lee Gak, who travels 300 years to the modern day, and his back-and-forth acting between a comical and serious, romantic role has driven up the popularity of “Rooftop Prince”

Yoochun expressed his love for the role, saying “I’m happy, but I also feel the burden of having to live up to such great expectations, but with this in mind, I focus on my acting and want to respond with great acting skills.” and “Now, Lee Gak is in a rather sorry state, I hope that everyone can be understanding towards him, and support the crown prince.”

The drama representatives said, “The character of the crown prince, who had a time slip and came into the modern day is unrealistic so we were worried, but Yoochun has shown great acting, and the viewers have showed great interest from an early stage in the situation surrounding the crown prince Lee Gak and feels close to this character, which I think is the reason for the rising ratings.” and “From now on, the story will describe how Lee Gak tries to deal with the modern society on his own, and I’m sure that he will gain even more love from the viewers.”

The ratings for “Rooftop Prince” have been rising continuously, and is looking to take the top spot for the Wednesday-Thursday drama slot.
