After wrapping up the shows in Sapporo, TVXQ finally wrapped up the “TVXQ Live Tour 2004~TREE~” show in Niigata on May 11 and 12 at the Toki Messe, the tallest building on the Sea of Japan. The performance is the part of the tour to promote their seventh album TREE that was kicked off in Yokohama on April 22.

The duo performed a total of 27 songs in their set list for the performance, including the new songs from their newest album, like “Tree of Life”, “I Love You”, “Something”, “Hide & Seek”, and “Scream” as well some of their previous songs, including “Humanoids”, and “Keep Your Head Down”.

The two interacted with their fans in between their performance. Yunho seemed to get caught by flu and by taking some medicine he was a little bit drowsy during the talk according to some fans’ account. Yet, his performance was still strong and charming.

Changmin, on the other hand, mentioned about how delicious Niigata’s rice is. It seemed like he always enjoyed some local cuisine before he performed, just like what he told his fans in about the ramen he had in the previous performance in Sapporo.

TVXQ will continue their tour to other cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Fukui, Fukuoka and Hiroshima. They will be performing in a total of 29 concerts in the mentioned cities until June.

[Info] 140505 Amazing Celebrity Siblings: Is It In Their Genes?

siblingstars

In order to become a celebrity, you need talent as well as good looks that can stand out and outshine regular citizens. For this reason, it’s not an easy feat to have even just one celebrity in the family, let alone more than one. However, there are an increasing number of celebrity siblings appearing in the entertainment industry in recent years.

A prime example of this are the Jung sisters: Girls’ Generation’s Jessica and f(x)’s Krystal. Not only do they actively promote within their own respective groups, they also show their abilities in various different areas through dramas, musicals, CFs (commercial film), photo shoots, and more. The two sisters have beautiful looks, exceptional fashion sense, and are currently the muses of a famous accessory brand.

Idol siblings, 2NE1’s Sandara Park and MBLAQ’s Thunder are known for their round eyes and extremely small faces, acting as the nation’s baby-face siblings. The numerous photos of them together show off their incredible visuals, as well as their similar fashion styles.

Park Yoochun and Park Yoo Hwan, with their good looks, are both in the midst of solidifying their positions as actors. With their tall height, broad shoulders, and handsome features, they have everything it takes to shake the hearts of all females. These brothers are called “Mother’s Friend’s Sons” for their positive image. Other similar famous siblings include Kim Tae Hee and Lee Wan, Rainbow’s Jaekyung and N.Flying’s Kim Jae Hyun, and singer Joo and BTOB’s Ilhoon.

CF director Bae Doo Han and actress Bae Doo Na are a sibling duo that emerged as UNIQLO’s campaign models, displaying their own distinctive synergistic results.

Now, siblings are even forming groups together. Lee Chan Hyuk and Lee Soo Hyun of Akdong Musician (AKMU) have debuted as a sibling duo after winning on SBS’ audition program, “K-Pop Star Season 2, ” in 2012. They instantly received the public’s love and interest with their numerous self-composed songs and original music style that is hard to come by in today’s music industry.

Following Akdong Musician’s win on the audition program through a relateable original song, they signed a contract with YG Entertainment. Also, they have been garnering more and more attention after finishing up their successful debut stage on Mnet’s “M! Countdown” on April 9.

The public’s expectations for these celebrity siblings are rising and you can’t help but think that it runs in their blood when you see such talented and good looking siblings in one household.

[NEWS] 140430 JYJ – Pursuing Individual Activities In Relay Form

jyjrelay

JYJ members Park Yoochun, Kim Jaejoong, and Kim Junsu are vigorously pursuing their personal activities. Each one of the members now shows off their talents in acting, musicals, and more. May will be a busy time for the members.

Park Yoochun will be saying goodbye to his fans on SBS’ “Three Days” on May 1st, where he’s been showing off his masculine charm and matured acting skills. Kim Jaejoong will be taking the empty spot and greeting the viewers through MBC’s new drama “Triangle.” Expectations are high since viewers will be able to see Kim Jaejoong act as a rugged bum in the drama. While “Triangle” is riding the airwaves, Kim Junsu will fly to Japan and hold his first Japan musical concert titled ’2014 Xia the Best Ballad Spring Tour Concert in Japan.’ He will be greeting approximately 70,000 fans in Tokyo from the 13th to the 15th and in Osaka from the 22nd to the 24th.

This type of ‘relay’ activities has become the norm for these JYJ members. In 2011 Park Yoochun starred in “Miss Ripley,” which was followed by Kim Jaejoong’s appearance in “Protect the Boss.” In 2012 Park Yoochun starred in “Rooftop Prince,” which was again followed by Kim Jaejoong’s appearance in “Dr. Jin.” In the meantime, Kim Junsu took home various awards with ticket sales as he showed off his talent as a musical actor.

Since the members had been busy with their individual activities, they faced many barriers in their group activities as JYJ. It was difficult for them to get on Korean music programs, and until January this year it wasn’t easy for them to hold concerts in Japan. However, ever since they’ve left their previous agency Avex, their activities have taken off.

It’ll take some time before the team’s name rises to the top again. But JYJ has nothing to worry about, since the individual members are each pursuing their own activities in dramas and musicals. They already have the attention of their fans. One agency rep stated, “Since they have their own activities, the timing is not important. If anything, we expect great synergy when they do have simultaneous activities.”

jaejoongsiwanimpression

The press conference for MBC‘s ‘Triangle‘ took place on April 30 at the Imperial Palace Hotel in Seoul.  At the event, Siwan revealed his first impressions of co-star Jaejoong, who plays his older brother in the series.

Siwan said, “I first met Jaejoong during our casino practice.  I was really fascinated at the time.”  Jaejoong added, “I was very fascinated, too.  He was someone I saw on TV, so I was very intrigued.  I was very fascinated with Baek Jin Hee, too.  I thought to myself that they were all very handsome and pretty.

Siwan continued, “After meeting Jaejoong for the first time, we went out to eat and he ate mackerel for dinner.  I found that very awkward and different.  For some reason, I did not feel like Jaejoong would eat and even if he did, he would enjoy something like hamburgers or pizza.  It was really interesting.  I had an almost mystical fantasy regarding his image.  However, when I saw him eating mackerel, he seemed very much like a normal person and I liked it.”

Watch over their chemistry as their brotherly relations unfold starting on May 5!

The casts of “Sea Fog”, featuring Yoochun

“Sea Fog” is one of the movies that are currently on dilemma due to the recent Sewol ferry incident that caught the nation in grief. The movie, along with “Roaring Currents” and “Pirates”, all deal with sea and vessels, battles and riots.

After the recent sunken ferry incident, the producers of the three movies are thinking deeply about the release dates once more, even though the dates have been decided since a year ago. “Sea Fog” is scheduled to be released in August. However, with the recent progress of the incident, the distributor of the movie does not want to hurt the nations’ feeling.

The movie contains parts in which the crews disobey the captain, which might remind people of the Sewol tragedy. The producers said that they might just go with the original dates, as postponing continually is hard to do.
