TVXQ’s Max Changmin and mixed martial arts fighter Choo Sung Hoon have won the best variety show entertainer award.

Max Changmin and Choo Sung Hoon attended the 2013 KBS Entertainment Awards at the KBS Hall in Yeoido on the 21st, and each gave an acceptance speech for the award.

Called up first, Max Changmin began by thanking the staff of ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’. He continued to say, “I’d also like to thank Ho Dong, who I sincerely respect and look up to. It’s been 10 years since I first made my debut and I thought I’d only be winning awards at music awards ceremonies, so I’m very happy to be receiving such a priceless award right now.”

When it came time for him to speak, Choo Sung Hoon stated, “I believe that I couldn’t have won this award without the help of the person next to me. I’ll be so happy if people keep showing their love for Sarang and the show.”

Meanwhile, the 2013 KBS Entertainment Awards was run by Shin Dong Yeob, KARA’s Goo Hara, and Seo In Gook. Nominees for the most prestigious award for the night were Yoo Jae Seok, Shin Dong Yeob, Kim Junho, Kang Ho Dong, Lee Young Ja and Lee Kyung Gyu,

SM Entertainment not only celebrated Super Junior’s accomplishment with a full ad page but also did the same for TVXQ to congratulate them on selling 10 million albums over a 10-year span!

Amazingly enough, TVXQ celebrated their 10th anniversary on December 26 and have now been presented with this great news that they have a sold a whopping 10 million albums. It seems to be a good year of milestones for SM artists.

In September, I traveled to Ghana with Road for Hope,
And I hear that the episode of Road for Hope that follows the children of Ghana will air tonight at 5:30pm.

Of course, I’ll be making an appearance as well~^^ It will be a special date with the children who deserve to be loved~
It brings back the memories of gaining so much strength from the children of Ghana while I was there.^^

Group TVXQ have topped the Oricon Charts in two days with their new song.

According to the Oricon Charts on the 29th, TVXQ’s ‘Very Merry X-mas’, which was released on the 27th, has topped their daily singles charts. This album sold 77,831 copies on the first day and 17,541 copies on the second, bringing the total sales count to 95,372 copies.

‘Very Merry X-mas’ is TVXQ’s 39th Japanese single and features two songs, ‘Very Merry X-mas’ and ‘White’.

The title song sends TVXQ’s support to everyone as the year comes to an end, while ‘White’ is a medium-tempo song that heightens the Christmas spirit with emotional lyrics.

Having proven their unwavering popularity in Japan with another hit single, TVXQ will be embarking on a Japanese nationwide tour next April, standing on stage at the Tokyo Dome for the third consecutive year.

Meanwhile, KARA’s ‘French Kiss’ ranked 8th on the daily singles charts, four spots lower than the previous day. G-Dragon sold a total of 61,242 copies of his album ‘Coup D’etat’, keeping his spot as second place on the daily album charts. KARA’s new album ‘Best Girls’ ranked fifth on the same charts.

Max Changmin and John Park were caught trying to climb over Park Jin Young’s fence to get into his house.

The 35th episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ had the celebrity basketball team visiting Park Jin Young’s house. One of the highlights of the episode was seeing Max Changmin and John Park trying to enter Park Jin Young’s house by climbing over his fence.

The trip to the singer’s house took place because of the promise Park Jin Young during the team’s first practice sessions, when he said, “I’ll buy dinner on the day our team gets its first victory.” With two victories under their belt, the team was invited to Park Jin Young’s home.

On this day, Max Changmin and John Park arrived much earlier than the rest of their time. Unable to find an entrance to the house, the two singers tried to climb over the fence surrounding the house to get in.

Seeing the rolls of toilet paper that John Park had brought for a housewarming gift, Max Changmin asked what the meaning of bringing toilet paper to a housewarming party was. Not knowing the actual meaning of the gift, John Park said, “Isn’t it because moving in to a new house means you probably don’t have a lot of toilet paper at home?” Due to fact that John Park has spent the majority of his life overseas, he did not know that toilet paper is gifted so that ‘Good things keep rolling’ in the house they are given to.

Unfortunately, that day happened to be the day of Korea’s first snowfall of the year, and the celebrity team were forced to sit outside and shiver as they enjoyed their barbecue. Unable to bear the cold, Kang Ho Dong said, “Is this an invitation or a punishment,” while John Park said, “This is crazy.”

The inside of Park Jin Young’s house was also revealed on this episode, which will air at 11:20pm on Tuesday.

[News] 131203 TVXQ ‘Very Merry X-mas’ Continues to Ranks Number 2 on Japan Oricon Chart for 6 Days

Group TVXQ’s Japan Christmas song has continued to stay at number 2 on the Oricon chart for the past 6 days.

On December 3, Oricon stated that TVXQ’s song, “Very Merry X-mas” sold 3,429 more copies than the day before and was ranked at number 2.

They released the song on November 27 and sold 77,831 copies and continued to sell more throughout the week.

This is their 39th Japan single and is a Christmas themed song to celebrate the holiday season.

On the other hand, TVXQ will be holding their Japan tour concert starting next April.
