The concept for the new Penzal Q commercial, which will begin airing in June, is a scene where a female fan is heard saying, “My head hurts”, amidst a JYJ concert, to which member Kim Jaejoong asks the audience in the stands, “Does anyone have headache medication?” Another female fan then shouts, “If it’s headache medication, it’s Penzal Q”. The CF later follows with Kim Junsu saying, “Penzal Q, thank you.”

Upon seeing this advertisement, netizens expressed, “The funniest among all the commercials filmed by idols”, “I’m so embarrassed I can’t even watch it”, “Commercial with an odd concept, yet it’s strangely addictive”, and “A commercial I want to see often”, among other responses.

Although there are mixed responses about the concept of the commercial, the CM song has gone viral. The lyrics which go “Whatever pain, whatever sadness, forget them all” are included in the song, which suits the concept of the CF perfectly. Jong Geun Dang distributed this song for free via its official homepage and Facebook page at the end of last year.

Park Yoochun plays a double role in “Rooftop Prince,” as the Joseon crown prince Lee Gak and Second generation Chaebol Yong Tae Yong. Lee Gak, who comes to the future due to a time slip, has to reply in olden terms, even if all other actors speak to him in modern terms.

It was largely due to Park Yoochun’s natural acting, that allowed the audiences to accept the ludicrous story scenario without much burden. When asked if it was difficult to act in a time-slip drama, he said, “After reading the script, I could really feel writer Lee Hui Myung’s desire to see his wife again (This writer stopped writing for 6 years after the passing of his wife, and made his comeback with ‘Rooftop Prince’), so it was easy to get into character.”

He said, “As I was acting, I suddenly felt very heartbroken. To have to leave Park Ha (played by Han Jimin) whom I love so dearly and return to Joseon, I felt helpless. This is because a love that has transcended 300 years is deeper and purer than that of modern things.

To the free-spirited Park Yoochun, “Rooftop Prince” is also a very meaningful project. This is because during its shoot in March, his father had passed away. When asked when he would go to if he could travel through time, he said, “to the times that I spent with my father in America.”

“Even without forcing the emotions, even if I don’t feel like crying, I can still act in a natural manner. I have a scar on the left side of my face, and I had thought about covering it up with make-up, but now I want to be an actor that can show that scar naturally.”

He also said that if he has the chance, he will want to practice his enunciation while acting, or try acting in plays. This is because he has not had formal acting training aside from going to acting school for 3 months before shooting “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.” Park Yoochun, who is already a hallyu star also intends to continue singing.

“After watching (JYJ member) Junsu’s solo concert, I feel that I could never that well (Laughs). I want to write songs and lyrics, as well as produce my own album.”

Absolutely gorgeous hanbok, Jaejoong–they should allow you to keep it–it fits you that well.  Congratulations Mr. Kim–you are truly convincing in this role.  <3

This drama is going to be an excellent one. From the beginning the acting is great and the storyline is strong. Jaejoong is convincing in his role as a hanbok covered, pistol and sword-bearing military officer. He sits his horse well and presents his character well.

Dr. Jin is an excellent neurosurgeon who needs a lesson in humanity.
He is catapulted 160 years into the past at a crucial moment in his life. His girlfriend is recovering from emergency surgery, and there is a mystery involving a mysterious fetus figure that seems to be involved in his going back in time.

I can relate to this theme because I love to explore multi-universe theories. Quantum Physics is a grand subject

By Episode Two Dr. Jin’s character, Jin Hyuk, is firmly entrenched and he is immediately needing to use his surgical skills. His life hangs in the balance for the majority of Episode Two. I anticipate that the heroine and love interest in this drama, Hong Young Rae, will become torn between our dashingly handsome Kim Jaejoong as Kim Gyeong Tak and Song Seung Heon as Dr Jin.

I am looking forward to Episodes Three and Four with much anticipation.
