On August 22, Bruce “Automatic” Vanderveer, the producer of Junsu’s new single in English, “Uncommitted,” tweeted, “Junsu reminds me of Michael Jackson. Incredible and natural ability like Michael had. Junsu is a natural, better than most artists. Junsu’s got an incredible voice. He really is ready for America!”
Bruce “Automatic” Vanderveer is a Sony Music songwriter, who has worked with Christina Aguilera, The Wanted, and Leona Lewis this year.
Junsu will finish his Asian tour in Hong Kong on August 26 and will join JYJ’s world tour that makes stops in the U.S., Mexico, and Brazil.
News] 120820 JYJ’s Kim Jun Su’s Music Video Ranks First in China
JYJ’s Kim Jun Su recently ranked first in China with his first English solo video.
Kim released his English single “Uncommitted” on August 17 and ranked first on Yin Yue Tai, the biggest Chinese music video chart.
The music video for the song received over 3.28 million hits and ranked first as soon as it was released. The agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said, “It’s hard to access YouTube site in China so the Yin Yue Tai chart proves Kim’s popularity. He received such a result without promoting himself in China.”
It has been three months since he released his solo EP Tarantallegra in May. The EP, however, ranked seventh and proved its high popularity.
Kim’s first EP set a new record in sales as a solo on the Gaon chart and he proved his global popularity by ranking high in China, the United States, Germany, and Chile. The English single “Uncommitted” also ranked first on the Japanese iTunes chart.
Kim will start touring the world with a concert in New York on August 30. Then he will meet his nationwide fans in Asia, North and South Americas, and Europe.

Kim released his first English song “Uncommitted,” which is an urban pop ballad , and a music video for the song on August 17.
The music video was released on his official YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/cjesjyj). Kim shot the unconventional love scenes which are rare for idols.
In the video, Kim runs with a model while holding her hand and they look like a real couple. Kim kisses her while they are in bed and touches her cheek in a club.

China Photo Press recently released photos from the June 22nd press conference of Kim Junsu’s Taipei concert. On this day, Kim Junsu confessed that he had greatly missed eating Taiwanese snacks as it had been a year since he had last visited the country. He revealed that he especially enjoys bubble tea.
During the press conference, the hotel prepared six representative Taiwanese snacks for Kim Junsu to enjoy. The snacks that were placed in front of Kim Junsu were bubble tea, xiǎolóngbāo (steamed dumpling), fènglísū (pineapple cake), dàjīpái (fried chicken fillet) and various fruits.
