This is a timeless [well almost 🙂 post] If there is a moment to give support, now is crucial. Jaejoong is living pure reality right now. It’s so easy to sit back and wait for our Guys to return. It takes more effort to continue. We must keep praying for strength for us all.
In commemoration of their 10 year anniversary, JYJ revealed their feelings and plans for 2014, saying “In the new year all three of us plan to perform together.” They recalled their memories from their past activities on C-JeS Entertainment’s homepage on the 26th.
JYJ wrote, “No matter what activity we had, we were asked the most questions about our 10 year anniversary. We remember every one of our “firsts,” including the first time we stood onstage together, the day of our first album release, our firm interview, and even our first performance. Throughout the past year, we’ve given a large number of answers. We feel very proud, and shared stories about ourself, about our members, and the times we’ve spent together. But now that the year is coming to an end, the one thing that rings loudly in our hearts about our anniversary is ‘thank you,’” and showed their gratitude towards their fans.
The following are Q&A’s with JYJ.
Q: What do we want to say to each other?
A: Now instead of thinking about myself, it’s more about the members that know me better than I know myself. It’s not enough to call them my brothers. It’s about us three!
Q: How can we sum up the past 10 years?
A: Thank you! is what we want to say. Especially for the undying passion and the ongoing trust that you’ve showed us. We’re really thankful. Even when we went through difficult times, when we faced new challenges, and when we were met with new worlds, we were filled with gratitude each passing day. We’re thankful for every little thing, and are even thankful for recognizing what a great thing it is to be thankful. No matter how many times we say it we don’t know how to fully express this heart of thanks.
Q: What do we want to say to our fans?
A: We’re connected by an invisible string. I think we’ve become increasingly close! We’re so grateful to our fans for cheering us on in every one of our activities, for commending us on a job well done, and for pouring out unconditional love all the time! Thank you for cheering for not only our music but as individual persons, and for supporting our youth. You always make us smile. Doesn’t it seem like every one of our meetings help us deepen our understanding of each other? We want to make up for that heart, and are committed to working hard to do our best!
Q: What will our future look like in 10 years?
A: No matter what it looks like, we will be together, and want to play you our music. Even if that time comes, we will still be fearless in face of a new challenge. We will deepen our colors as human beings, and will always give thanks and stay humble.
Q: What are our plans for 2014?
A: We want to promise you this. As JYJ we will show you the three of us standing on one stage! We will definitely show you! We ask that you continue to look out for us in our solo activities. We love you!
Oh no, I’m not going to be able to stop laughing at the concert :X (Junsu, 6:23pm KST) Hello.. everyone ^^ I hope you’re all doing well~ My Saturday-Sunday concerts this week are finally about to begin~ I just wanted to say.. Because of all the requests I’ve been getting.. I decided that I’m going to perform ‘Isn’t This Song Funny?’ for you just for kicks. Even now, I’m wondering if this is a good idea… but let’s just go with it…^^;;
(Junsu, 6:25pm KST) Even my US dance crew must know a great song when they hear one.. They work their hardest when practicing the choreography of ‘Isn’t This Song Funny?’ and they keep giving me a thumbs-up…. ooooooh I just wanted to say that ‘Isn’t This Song Funny?’ requires some participation from you all to work. You have to shout along to these sentences that I’m about to write!!
(Junsu, 6:32pm KST) In the last section.. Everything except the lyrics ‘Even I think it’s funny’!.. You have to follow along to everything except ‘You’re amazing~’ And here are the other parts to follow along to as well!
(Junsu, 6:33pm KST) In the first verse: We beg you~~!!, In the second verse: Junsu, are you okay?, Junsu, they say that the altitude here is higher than that of Mt. Halla.. 2240m, In the third verse: Oh my god! Ladies and gentlemen, we hope you weren’t too shaken by this. A pigeon got stuck in the propeller so our flight will take off tomorrow! I want you guys to shout these words out as loud as you can!
(Junsu, 6:33pm KST) Okay then, bye~~~~!!!!
Aww thanks for the clarification 😉 (Junsu, 6:57pm KST) Ah! You don’t have to do the ‘Oh man’ or the ‘Boing’ haha
Here we go again. Just when you think that things are getting better and you start to breathe a little easier–there comes the blow. This has happened over and over again; and I believe that the fans had relaxed into thinking that the major hurdles were over for JYJ. In reality they have just begun.
Before there was the problem with censorship, denial of contracts, and etcetera, while under the protection of the court system. Now, without the courts, those who have a problem with JYJ and their management are going to feel free to do unlawful things with no thought of repercussion. The problem is that there is no such thing as without repercussion from a fanbase as large as JYJ’s. and individually as large as Jaejoong’s, Yoochun’s, and Junsu’s.
Even if there were a totally justifiable reason for Loen’s actions, it is morally wrong to cancel such important promotional aspects of the contract so close to the release date that it impeeds the marketing, sales, and promotion of Junsu’s album.
There have been so many reasons put out there over time as to why JYJ couldn’t be given opportunities to engage with the mass public. It in now at a point where it all points to harassment. It is not right to wield power simply because you can–power is in doing the right thing so that you may support what will be beneficial to everyone..Unfortunately, it appears as if the fandom is going to have to step up to the plate and bat the ball once again. The fight is not over.
We all must be diligent to pay attention and care enough about the Boys and the music to fight for it, and their responsibility is to produce quality, appealing music for us to enjoy.. If it comes down to C-jes using the JYJ Youtube Channel to promote–we’ll be there. Always Keep The Faith!!!
[TRANS] 130404 At The Ending Party Of ‘QoA’, Jung Yunho Says, “I Was Very Nervous As A Singer-Turned-Actor”
Jung Yunho expressed his thoughts about ‘Queen of Ambition’ coming to an end.
On the 3rd of April, TVXQ’s Jung Yunho attended the ending party of SBS’s Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Queen of Ambition’ and stated, “I was very nervous about being a singer-turned-actor.”
Jung Yunho stated, “I was so nervous about working alongside such great seniors. I really enjoyed it,” and “No matter where I go, ‘Queen of Ambition’ will always have a place in my heart. Everyone here is a star.”
Jung Yunho’s fans prepared a three-tiered cake and champagne for the party’s celebrations.
A representative of ‘Queen of Ambition’ stated, “Jung Yunho’s fans have been giving us their utmost support from the beginning till the very end. That gave the staff the strength to keep going,” and “Jung Yunho always looked like he was having a great time and he really has improved as an actor through ‘Queen of Ambition’.”
[Trans] 130320 [Queen Of Ambition] Though Jung Yunho Has Left, The Love Of His Fans Remains
Though Jung Yunho has left ‘Queen of Ambition’, his fans’ passion still remains with the drama.
Jung Yunho’s departure from the SBS’ Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Queen of Ambition’ was marked by his character(Do Hoon)’s unfortunate death during the 18th episode. After Do Hoon’s death, various online communities and fanclub sites were flooded with messages of disappointment and encouragement.
Do Hoon’s sorrowed smile as he dreamed of calling out “Mom!” before his death had the fans’ hearts in pieces. His fans created a ‘Baek Do Hoon Resurrection Committee’ and made a request to resurrect the character but have now accepted that his death was necessary for the drama’s development. They are now continuing their love for ‘Queen of Ambition’, as though they are following the wishes that were expressed by Jung Yunho in his final letter for the drama.
Jung Yunho opened up on the drama’s homepage and stated, “I was able to learn so much from this precious experience,” and “Please love ‘Queen of Ambition’ till the very end.” The ‘resurrection’ committee has been turned into a ‘mourning’ committee, and the fans have stepped up to act as the honorary ambassadors of ‘Queen of Ambition’.
Some fans have printed out flyers and handed them out in the street while others have printed thousands of promotional bookmarks and placed them in bookstores around Seoul. There wasn’t a sudden decrease in viewer ratings either, something that had been a concern for the drama since the death of Do Hoon. Considering the fact that the majority of Jung Yunho’s fans are teenagers and women in their 20s and 30s, a drop in viewer ratings was expected, but most fans have continued their support for ‘Queen of Ambition’.
The dedication of Jung Yunho’s fans has been garnering attention since the drama’s press conference. They sent a total of 20 tons of rice wreaths and have also sent lunch boxes to the cast and crew. The fans’ also paid for promotional advertisements on buses and the subway, and provided the cast and crew with winter clothes to battle the cold weather.
Their consideration was greater than the love that has ever been seen for an idol star, and the reason for such dedication was to show the fans’ anticipation and support for Jung Yunho’s decision to work on his acting career.
As though he sensed the support of his fans, Jung Yunho worked hard and received high praise for his improved and sophisticated acting, and many are now curious to see what drama he will take on next.
Though rookie actor Jung Yunho will now return on stage as U-Know Yunho, ‘the king of the stage’, his fans’ love for ‘Queen of Ambition’ lives on.
“Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive….”

I admit that I’m a bit behind on my opinion of the new drama “Queen of Ambition” that stars one of my favorite people–Jung Yunho. Yes, this American eo-meo-ni unabashedly proclaims that Yunho is her favorite in this drama. What can I say? Yunho has this boyish charm thing going on that just disarms you from the start. He’s playing sweet naughty, but as this drama progresses I am interested in seeing how Yunho intends to mature the character of Baek Do Hoon, a hockey enthusiast. I guess that could be up to the producer, writer, and director, but it also the responsibility of the actor to convince the viewers that this role is believable. It’s a bit early to say, but I am enjoying Yunho immensely.
The lead female character Joo Da Hae seems a bit stiff, but this is probably deliberate. After all, she has to portray someone who kills and agrees to cover it up to advance her personal career.. She tends to be judgmental, drawing back from Ha Ryu, her lover and the father of her daughter, when she discovers that he has been providing for the family by working as a male prostitute. She had attempted to go this way years before, and Ha Ryu rescued her and has given up everything–his dignity and his body– to put her through college.
My sympathies are with the young lovers because they lack wisdom, and out of this lack arises a murder cover-up and a life of hiding from Joo Da Hae’s step-brother.
There is also another element present in this drama–the older CEO sister of Baek Do Hoon [Yunho]. Hints have been dropped here and there that seem to indicate that Do Hoon is her son, not her younger brother.
BTW, I am happy to see Ha Ryu’s aunt being portrayed by veteran actress Lee II Hwa. She starred with Jung Yunho in “Heading To The Ground”. If I’m in error please correct me. 🙂
I will write again after absorbing a few more episodes. This drama is well written, directed and produced.
O.K. I just absorbed a few more episodes as I promised and My! My!My!. I’m almost speechless, and, if you have been visiting this blog over time you know that is not my norm. This woman is unbelievable. As long as things are looking up she is right with you. As soon as her little imaginary world starts to topple, she’s ready to ditch you and start clinging to the next available rock. What woman deserts her child like this? The Momma Bear in me is starting to snarl!!! This reminds me of Miss Ripley in some respects because both women are manipulators, but I believe Miss Ripley was less mercenary than Joo Da Hae. They both faced loss early in life, and I sympathize with Joo Da Hae concerning the sexual abuse, but even taking her early childhood into account–there is no justification for the way she treats those who love her. She is a formidable enemy, and she has one many-faceted goal in mind–prestige, money, power, and success. Joo Da Hae is driven by fear–fear of being without provision and without love. Somehow she remains a small girl who wants everyone to take care of her, right or wrong. I cried with Ha Ryu, the most loving, naive man possible, when she told him that she knew what he did at his job. He was suffering all of that degradation just to please and provide for her. She gave him disrespect in return.
Right now, this drama is sizzling on the bar-be. There is a volcano poised to blow at any moment and when it does I guarantee you that Joo Da Hae will be safely conniving to be somewhere else. Let’s see what’s cooking up for next week. In the meantime here are a couple of the Queen of Ambition OST songs to listen to…

[TRANS] 130121 JYJ Look Back On The Last 1000 Days Through A Magazine, “We Didn’t Give Up. We’re Happy”
A magazine that details the last 1000 days of JYJ will be released in Korea and Japan at the same time.
On the 21st of January, C-JeS Entertainment stated, “The first edition of ‘The JYJ’, the interview magazine that commemorates the 1000th day since JYJ was created, will be released simultaneously in Korea and Japan. It contains records of their worldwide English album, their world tours, and their individual activities in musicals and dramas in chronological order.”
The magazine is set to be more meaningful as JYJ have concluded all legal battles that they had previously been engaged in as they came to an agreement with their former agency SM Entertainment last November and recently won their lawsuit against their Japanese agency AVEX.
A representative of C-JeS stated, “JYJ fought a long legal battle for three years against their unlawful contract. Not only have they won their freedom, but they have also provided their juniors with a better environment to pursue their activities in,” and “But because of unseen external forces, JYJ’s activities have been restricted and JYJ talked about their feelings about this in their interviews as they took the effort to find new challenges to take on instead of giving up or backing down.”
C-JeS’ CEO Baek Chang Joo stated, “For a long time, we have worked hard to walk down our own path, and we have changed obstacles into opportunities to widen the spectrums for each member, making them leaders of other K-POP stars as they have successfully completed two world tours and made their mark in the drama and musical industries,” and “We wanted to make a book that will be dedicated to the fans who have shown their love and support for the members, no matter how hard things got.”
The magazine ‘The JYJ’ was created through a total of 25 hours of interviews with the members, and will be a total of 139 pages with a special DVD. During their interviews, the members were said to have teared up as they talked about 2009, and all the people who gave them strength during those troubled times.
JYJ stated, “Though there have been hard times in the past 1000 days, we can say that we were truly happy. We worked harder than ever and though there were unexpected obstacles in our way, we were able to grow that much and learn. We wanted to share the story of the past 1000 days that were happy, from the moment we woke up till the moment we fell asleep.”
JYJ’s interview magazine ‘The JYJ – First edition, recording 1000 days’ will be released in Korea and Japan in early February and can be bought at the C-JeS store.
News] 121102 JYJ’s Yoochun Gets A Road Named After Him Thanks To His Fans
In honor of JYJ‘s Park Yoochun, a road will be named ‘Park Yoochun Cherry Blossom Road‘.
The ‘Park Yoochun Cherry Blossom Road‘ will be a small section of a larger road scheduled to be built in the city of Incheon, near the waterway on its west side. The road will be completed some time in 2013 and the Park Yoochun named section will stretch for 100m (approximately 328 ft). The entire road will be 1.8 km (approximately 1.1 miles) long and is being built as a grand entrance way for the Asiad Stadium and the 2014 Asian Games.
The stretch of road was honored in his name because Yoochun‘s fanclub continuously donated to a campaign to help the ecosystem for the waterway that will run near the road. It also donated many clothing items for a campaign to collect used clothing to help those in need, and their total donation adds up to 10 million KRW (approximately $9,100 USD). Those in charge of the road decided to thank the fanclub by naming a part of the cherry blossom road after Yoochun.
JYJ member Park Yoochun recently tweeted messages that are suspected of expressing his longing for his late father who passed away earlier this March while he was on tour with JYJ members in South America.
On June 22 Park Yoochun tweeted, “No matter how many times I dial this phone number on my cellphone, I know no one will pick up.” However he made no mention of who he was trying to reach by that number. Park Yoochun tweeted similar messages of sorrow and remorse for supposedly the same individual.
On June 25 Park Yoochun tweeted, “Whenever I drink alcohol I’m constantly reminded of you. I wasn’t even able to do much for you. I wonder if you would be able to hear me if I let everyone know how I feel. I’m so sorry that you had to travel this journey all by yourself. I wish these tears would stop. It’s not like no one else has experienced the same emotions, but it’s still painful.” Netizens sent their condolences to the singer with comments such as, “When I read these tweets I can’t stop my own tears either,” “I wish I could say something uplifting to you during this difficult time,” and “Yoochun, we’re always here for you!”
Fan Support for ‘Here Comes Jackal’ by Maze Jae. We decided to do meals support after we heard that Jaejoong wasn’t able to have a proper meal due to the hectic filming schedules.
