A photo of JYJ inside their recording studio has become the center of the netizens’ attention.

The photo was revealed on the 2014 Incheon Asian Games committee’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/IncheonAG2014) and was taken while JYJ were recording their Incheon Asiad song ‘Only One’.

Meanwhile, the released photo showed the members of JYJ seriously discussing their music as the honorary ambassadors of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, as well as making mischievous poses at the camera.

The committee has announced that it will also be releasing solo shots and photos of JYJ practicing their choreography during the week through their Facebook account. The full audio and music video of ‘Only One’ will be revealed on the 16th of September.

Today is such a great day.
Not only did I receive an award that proved yet again just how much love I’m receiving from my fans,
but I was also able to come back to Gwangju, my hometown, and heal my weary heart through the Biennale!!!!!
I believe all of this was possible because of the sincere hearts of our fans, who I am so grateful for~^^

I believe that the Gwangju Design Biennale will bring forth even more passion
that will create a past, present and future we can share together,
through artwork that contains the soul of the culture of Korea, and Gwangju especially.
It would be great if you could all visit the Gwangju Design Biennale if you have the chance~!

[TRANS] 130906 TVXQ’s Japanese Single Sells Over 110,000 Copies… Takes The Number One Spot On The Oricon Charts

Hallyu group TVXQ have taken the number one spot on the Oricon Charts in just two days since releasing their latest Japanese single.

According to the Oricon Charts, TVXQ’s 38th single ‘SCREAM’, which was released on the 4th, sold an additional 56,316 copies and topped the daily singles charts.

TVXQ entered the charts in second place after losing to ‘Melon Juice’ by HKT48, the sister group of AKB48, but topped the charts on the second day by selling more than three times as much as HKT48. TVXQ have sold a total of 113,386 copies in two days and have proven yet again just how popular they are in Japan.

As the first song in three months since their June-released single ‘Ocean’, ‘SCREAM’ has already been chosen as the OST of ‘Sadako 3D 2′, and as the theme song of various programs such as ‘Hiruobi’ and ‘MUSIC BB’.

TVXQ will be releasing their ‘TVXQ LIVE TOUR 2013 ~TIME~’ live recording DVD on the 23rd of October.

KBS 2TV’s ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ has managed to keep its spot as the most watched program of its time slot.

According to Nielsen Korean, the episode of ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ that aired on the 3rd scored a nationwide viewership of 7.5%.

This is 0.8% lower than 8.3%, the viewership of last week’s episode. Despite a fall in viewership, the show succeeded in keeping its place as the most watched show of its time slot.

The day’s episode followed the celebrity team’s match against the Hwasoon team of the Jeolla Southern Province. Unfortunately, the team lost 3:0 to the Hwasoon team.

Meanwhile, SBS’ ‘Hwashin’ and MBC’s ‘PD Notebook’ scored a viewership of 3.8% and 4.1% respectively.

The episode will show Max Changmin practicing badminton ahead of his Nissan Stadium concert in Yokohama, Japan.

Ahead of a concert that attracted 144,000 people and made him a part of the first Korean group to hold such a large-scale performance, Max Changmin was completely focused on working on his badminton skills.

In front of the ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’ camera, Max Changmin said, “I’m practicing badminton ahead of my concert,” and “I must be insane.”

The committee of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games released the teaser video of ‘Only One’, JYJ’s Incheon Asiad song, on the 3rd on the their official YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/Incheon2014).

Since being named the honorary ambassadors of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games in February, JYJ have been actively participating in the creation of an Incheon Asiad song and music video that people all across Asia can enjoy together. The teaser that was released today hopes to convey the message to support and enjoy the moments of glory of the Incheon Asian Games with JYJ in a bright and fun atmosphere.

Kwon Kyung Sang, the head of the committee, stated, “The song ‘Only One’ refers to the fact that the people of Asia will overcome racial, linguistic and cultural barriers to become one for the tournament,” and “We created the song in the hopes that the Incheon Asian Games will help people respect each other’s differences and pave the future together.”

The full song and music video of ‘Only One’ will be released all across Asia on the 16th of September, exactly a year before the opening ceremony of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, and JYJ plan to participate in promotional activities all across Asia afterwards.

Kim Eung Soo’s daughter Kim Eun Seo appeared on SBS’ ‘Like Parent, Like Child’ on the 31st of August and said, “My dad is addicted to his smartphone. There are times when he’s fiddling around with it secretly, even when we’re on set.”

Kim Eung Soo added, “I’d been using a 2G phone up till last year, and Kim Jaejoong, who I worked with on a drama, was so surprised to see me using a 2G phone to call people. The next time he saw me, he gave me a smartphone as a gift.”
