[TRANS] 121209 “Park Yoochun’s Hidden Talents Are Endless.. He Will Find Great Success As An Actor”

“Yoochun has an endless source of potential and charm. He will find great success as an actor.”

Acting veteran Song Ok Suk(52) has given JYJ’s Park Yoochun(26), a fellow actor on MBC’s ‘I Miss You’, high praise for his work.

We met with her recently at the SBS production center in Goyang, Gyeonggi and she stated, “I’m usually very stingy about my appraisal of rookie actors, but Yoochun is an exception.”

This is the actress’ second time working with Park Yoochun on a drama, with the first being SBS’ ‘Rooftop Prince’ earlier this year.

“In ‘Rooftop Prince’, we never had any scenes together so I would just watch him work, and even then, I got the feeling that he works very hard. When I heard he was a idol-singer-turned-actor, I just dismissed him and thought he would do a half-hearted job. But he was always very hardworking.”

She added, “I don’t usually talk about my juniors, but I always talk about Yoochun because he deserves to be praised and has great potential,” and “He’s able to express his emotions very well these days and I’m proud of him because he has the passion and talent to pick things up immediately once you teach him something.”

Song Ok Suk and Park Yoochun play the roles of a mother who lost her daughter to a murderer and the friend of that daughter respectively. The two characters have lived together like mother and son for the past 14 years as the pain of that memory has brought them together.

“Amongst my juniors, there are those who don’t listen to what I’m teaching them, and those who just don’t understand what I’m trying to say. If they’ve made the decision to become an actor, they should take on every challenge and work hard like a professional, but there are some that just try to take the easy way out and go with the flow. When I see kids like that, it makes me feel sad. But Yoochun is different from all those other people. Though he may have started off as an idol singer, he always works hard to go beyond that. I’ve seen a great deal of people throughout my thirty year career, and ‘survival of the fittest’ applies in our industry as well; if you don’t make an effort, you won’t last.”

She smiled as she said, “The women around me say they watch ‘I Miss You’ because of Park Yoochun,” and “The storyline of the drama gives me a hard time, but I enjoy being on set to watch Yoochun. People are so envious of me.”

Kim Mi Kyung was revealed to be the true killer.

Kim Mi Kyung was revealed to be the true killer.

On the Thursday episode of MBC drama “I Miss You” the Gangnam Police Station janitor Song Mi Kyung (Kim Mi Kyung) turned out to be the real criminal behind the murder.

Zoe/Soo Yeon (Yoon Eun Hye) had been named the prime suspect in the murder of Kang Sang Deuk and with the help of Harry/Hyung Joon (Yoo Seung Ho) and Jung Woo (Park Yoochun), she was released. Zoe says that she saw the back of the criminal and said it seemed like an older woman.

This narrowed down the suspects and they find out that the criminal ordered dry ice using Jung Woo’s computer. However, while she was using the computer, the surveillance camera was off, which meant that it was probably an inside job.

Jung Woo remembers that the suspect was wearing a white band around her wrist and remembers the janitor did so as well.

Jung Woo goes to find the janitor who tells Jung Woo to come into her house and shows him her daughter’s uniform and her things. Jung Woo finds the noose and the tape that was used in the killing and he is soon tased by her.

[NEWS] JYJ says, “We’re Taking A Stand Against The People Who Leave Malicious Comments About Us”

[NEWS] JYJ says, “We’re Taking A Stand Against The People Who Leave Malicious Comments About Us”

On December 6, C-Jes Entertainment, JYJ’s agency, announced that it will take a strong stand against those who leave malicious comments about JYJ on the Internet: “We have reported about twenty cases to the cyber police. We’ll continuously notify the police of more cases of people who live malicious comments about JYJ. Of course, we believe people should be allowed to express themselves freely, but we cannot forgive the people who have been leaving dozens of malicious comments about JYJ over the last six months and more.”

According to the agency, some people have cursed JYJ dozens of times a day and even uploaded pictures of the members bleeding. They have also spread false rumors about the group. The agency says, “We haven’t really responded to them before this because we thought they were also fans of JYJ. However, some people have gone so far as to severely damage JYJ’s image, so we’ve decided to take a stand against them. The people who have left malicious comments about JYJ often say they’ve done it out of curiosity. We’ve forgiven some of the people who were under age, but that’s not going to be the case anymore. We hope that people who leave malicious comments about other people online realize the harm they are causing.”

[Trans] 121202 Park Yoochun, “My Younger Brother Made Me Very Proud Of Him”‏

[Trans] 121202 Park Yoochun, “My Younger Brother Made Me Very Proud Of Him”

Park Yoochun who is currently acting as the lead in MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Missing You’, recently praised his younger brother in an interview, “In the past, I have a feeling that I had to lead the family (as a family head) but now my younger brother’s strength is getting stronger gradually that he made me feel that I have some parts I can depend on.”

Ever since his younger brother Park Yoohwan (21) debuted as an actor last year’s February in MBC weekend drama ‘Shiny Shiny Shining’, he experienced a total of three dramas last year, including MBC ‘Gye Baek’ and SBS ‘Thousand Days Promise’, making his face and name known. Especially in ‘Thousand Days Promise’ where he acted as the younger brother of Soo Ae, his sincere tearing acting gained attraction.

This year, he was chosen to be the lead in Channel A ‘Strongest Kpop Survival’, followed by a six month stint in MBC sitcom ‘Can’t Live Without You’.

Park Yoochun laughed saying, “Yoohwan seems to be acting very well. As he have acted in sitcom and dramas, he has more acting experiences than me.”

He continued to emphasize, “His non-stop filming of 110 episodes recently is very commendable. Seems that since the both of us are acting, we are able to understand and relate to each other. Thus it feels really comfortable and good.”

Park Yoohwan is the typical example of ‘started acting through his brother.’ Living together with his older brother and mother, he returned to Korea after spending 6 years in America. Before he found his goal at acting, he was at a lost with no dream.

However through his older brother Park Yoochun, he developed an interest in acting and after a year of acting classes, he received a pass immediately at his first audition and acted in ‘Shiny Shiny Shining’.

Park Yoochun said, “It’s only a few years ago that I became an actor together with Yoohwan. It was really unexpected. My younger brother is currently doing very well and I am very proud of it.”

Editors Note: Yoochun in “I Miss You” Episodes 5 thru 8

It is truly remarkable how a drama can be so simple yet complex at the same time. “I Miss You” is such a drama. It’s simplicity lies in the typical love triangle. It’s complexity lies in the main driving force of the story–hearts abused and bruised by life that have formed layers of scars much like an onion. These scars will have to be peeled away one by one for healing to take place. Scars can reach into the deepest recesses of the soul, and the spirit can bury itself so completely that what occurred traumatically becomes unreality.

I am so proud of the natural acting that Micky Yoochun is giving us in his role as Detective Han. He has exercised his acting muscles until they are starting to flow smoothly and believeably. I am always astonished at his ability to act as if there are no cameras, booms, directors, and others around him. He commands his acting space and he is surrounded by talented actors like himself.

As a member of DBSK, and now a member of JYJ, Yoochun presents a steady persona. His stage presence, whether singing or acting is superb. I do not ever want to lose his throaty vocals, or this acting facet of his abilities. This solidity carries into his roles making them supportive and legendary.

I will continue to follow this melodrama through his eyes. It can only get better from here. Thank You Yoochun.  I Love You.

[Trans] 121130 JYJ’s Kim Junsu Says, “This Was A Battle Against SM, Not TVXQ”

[Trans] 121130 JYJ’s Kim Junsu Says, “This Was A Battle Against SM, Not TVXQ”

JYJ’s Kim Junsu recently opened up about his group’s exclusive contract nullification lawsuit.

Kim Junsu met with reporters on the 29th at a hotel in Essen, Germany and when asked about the possibilities of TVXQ getting back together now that JYJ’s lawsuit with their former agency SM Entertainment has ended after three years and four months, he stated, “I lament the fact that I’m not able to introduce myself as a member of TVXQ.” Though it wasn’t a direct answer, it seems as though even he sees the chances of TVXQ getting back together again to be low.

Kim Junsu stated, “I, too, find this situation to be unfortunate because I entered the entertainment industry and started out as a singer through TVXQ,” and “Though the situation is unfortunate and regrettable, the title of ‘TVXQ’ will always remain in my heart and I believe that other people, and not only myself, will remember and never forget the five years that I performed as a member of TVXQ.”

He continued to add, “Nothing will ever be as memorable and fill me with joy than if I could stand on stage again as ‘TVXQ’ one day.”

Kim Junsu didn’t hide his affection for TVXQ as he said, “We were fighting a battle against our company (SM Entertainment) and their unlawful practices; it wasn’t that we wanted to throw away our title of ‘TVXQ’ or leave ‘TVXQ’.”

He feels the same way about the name that introduced him to the world, ‘Xiah’. Kim Junsu stated, “When I perform in musicals, I use my real name of Kim Junsu. Regardless of what name I use, I give people my all to repay them for remembering me and coming to see me. But I started out as ‘Xiah’ and I would like to keep performing under that name as a singer.”

Though Kim Junsu made his debut and became famous as TVXQ’s Xiah Junsu, he has no longer been able to use that stage name since beginning his lawsuit against SM Entertainment.

When he released his first solo album in May, he released it under the name ‘XIA’ which was his name ‘XIAH’ from his TVXQ days without an ‘H’.
