JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun will go on an Asia tour to hold fan meetings.

On July 27, Park’s agency, C-JeS Entertainment, said, “Park will hold his fan meetings in Shanghai, China on August 25 and in Taiwan and Thailand.”

Since Park has become a beloved Hallyu star in Asia after appearing on the TV series Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Miss Ripley, and Rooftop Prince, he decided to meet his Asian fans while touring.

Park says, “Thank you very much for supporting me and I think I will have a lot of fun with with many Asian fans through the fan meetings. I’m happy to talk about the characters that I played in the TV series.”

According to the agency, they will maybe hold additional fan meetings in one or two other countries.

More details on JYJ Junsu‘s upcoming repackaged solo album have been revealed.

The singer is currently in Los Angeles working with a long list of top staff members to perfect his album to the best of his ability. C-JeS Entertainment stated, “Junsu is currently recording English songs for his world tour, and there are plans for him to begin recording a music video shortly.”

The representative continued, We cannot yet release the song’s title and genre, but the album includes the participation of Sony Music‘s composer Bruce Automatic Vanderveer, who previously worked with the likes of Christina Aguilera, The Wanted, and Leona Lewis earlier this year.”

Composer Automatic expressed, “I was surprised by XIA, as he’s someone who truly sings from the heart. I thought we’d need two days for his recording process, but we really only needed one. Throughout the recording, I couldn’t help but be impressed by his skills. I’m really glad to be able to work with him.”

His music video will also be a collaboration with top names. Directed by Marc Klasfeld, who has experience producing for “We are Young“, which was a recent Billboard hit, along with Beyonce, Eminem, Jay-Z, and Far East Movement. He stated, “I was surprised when I saw XIA’s music video for ‘Tarantallegra’. His performance was amazing, as is the same with his facial expressions and acting. I’m looking forward to working with him.”

Junsu himself expressed, I earned a lot of confidence after releasing my worldwide album and going on a world tour. I feel that my confidence will build towards even better results. I’m glad that I’m working with such amazing people.”

His first solo repackaged album will be released mid-August. Junsu will then go on a world tour until October, which includes concerts in North and South America as well as Europe.

 On July 16th, representatives from C-Jes Entertainment announced, “[JYJ‘s] Junsu, who is currently traveling on his Asia Tour, will also be holding a world tour in North America, South America, and Europe.

After having released his first solo album and sweeping music charts across the continent of Asia, Junsu appears to be ready to meet his global audience. And not surprisingly so, since despite this being Junsu’s first time embarking on solo album activities, he has achieved great sales numbers even on charts abroad with his unique concept and 12 stylistically diverse songs.

CEO of C-JeS Entertainment Baek Chang Joo further expanded on Junsu’s success, saying,Ever since Junsu’s first public performance, his solo album has not only captivated the country, but also a wide area of Asia as well; as we were, of course, targeting markets overseas, it seems we have produced a world class music video. The awaited results were extraordinary. During Junsu’s successful Asia tour, the number of love calls we received from areas such as North and South America would not stop flowing in, and thus we decided to launch a world tour.

The CEO continued to reveal, For this world tour, Junsu has put together and prepared a repackaged album. As this album will be targeting the world market, it will include an English single and a music video produced in America. Although we cannot further clarify our future plans, Junsu will be climbing the steps to fame in America.

JYJ became friends with 22,000 fans over the course of 4 days.

JYJ met with 22,000 fans through the “2012 JYJ Membership Week”, which was held at the SETEC in Daechi-dong, Seoul, from 28 June to 1 July. The “2012 JYJ Membership Week” is a large-scale project, which the JYJ members spent 3.7 billion won to plan. It is an expo where fans can become one with JYJ, through various exhibitions and experiential activities.

In the “2012 JYJ Membership Week”, there were activities including a gallery displaying pictures and scupltures created by famous artists with JYJ as the theme, the screening of JYJ’s documentary, an exhibition of the JYJ’s members favourite collections, as well as special fanmeetings held by the JYJ members.

A representative of C-Jes Entertainment expressed, “Due to the restrictions with broadcast activities, we cannot hesitate. We have placed our focus on solidifying JYJ’s position in the world by expanding into a variety of activities such as dramas and musicals, as well as through activities such as world tours, but we also want to approach the fans more with our sincerity. In future, we will continue to plan a variety of content, so as to offer fans differentiated services, and we hope to enhance JYJ’s value through this.”

JYJ provided the fans with much enjoyment through a variety of programs during the fanmeetings this time, which were held over the 2 days. For instance, in the “Telepathy Corner”, the members played charades with their managers, and had punishments. Also, the “Wishing Tree” made an appearance, off which the members picked leaves which had the fans’ wishes written on them.

JYJ’s members said, “We are happy to have been able to bring happiness to the fans through the Membership Week. We hope to be able to create even more good memories with the fans in future. On another note, the “2012 JYJ Membership Week”, was the first fan expo of its kind to be held in Korea. With 7024 Japanese fans visiting Korea for it, it has set a record for the most number of foreigners visiting the country for a single event.

On June 28th, JYJ‘s Jaejoong and Junsu opened up a large-scale fan exposition at the SETEC for their ‘2012 JYJ Membership Week‘.

Jaejoong expressed, “I toured the set of the exposition and felt great. I feel like it’s the perfect location for our fans to have a fun time together. Despite the hot weather, I hope that everyone creates great memories here.”

On the meaning of the exposition, Junsu explained, “We are not the stars of this exposition, as it is an event for our loving and supportive fans. Our fans are the star today. Everything that is being passed out here – water, paper fans, and popcorn – are free.”

The exposition will last for a total of four days and include first hand reveals of JYJ’s promotional information, a special JYJ gallery, a food zone with items selected by JYJ, and various events for fans to create fun memories with the boys. Everything at the exposition is free.

Yoochun did make an appearance at the event but did not take questions from reporters.

Group JYJ recently talked about holding their fan meeting.

On June 28, JYJ attended the ’2012 JYJ Membership Week,’ which was held at SETEC in Seoul on June 28. The ‘Membership Week’ is conducted by C-JeS Entertainment for the group’s fans.

At the event, Kim Jae Joong said, “Fans are the heroes here. Thank you all our fans for supporting us and loving us all the time.”

Kim Jun Soo said, “I looked around the exhibition hall before the opening ceremony and found out there are many interesting exhibits. People will see a different side of us.”

Only Kim Jae Jong and Kim Jun Soo appeared at the event. Park Yoo Chun couldn’t appear at the press event due to an eye disease.

The ’2012 JYJ Membership Week,’ which cost 3.7 billion won, will be held on June 28 for 4 days. C-JeS Entertainment conducted the event for the group’s fans as a fan service.

Various exhibits, performances, and videos will play at the exhibition hall, which covers an area of 3,000 pyeong.

In a warm gesture to help the community, the young men of JYJ were able to donate nearly 90 tons of rice to the Korean non-profit organization Dreame with the help of fans around the globe.

 On June 22nd, the organization announced that JaejoongYoochun & Junsu had donated 23 tons of rice, which had been distributed to six organizations across the country earlier in the week at the request of JYJ’s agency, C-JeS Entertaiment.

According to a Dreame representative, domestic and foreign fans of JYJ sent roughly 64 tons of rice wreathes to support the musical trio’s cause. 49 tons of the rice were directly delivered to those in need, while 19 tons were saved in the organization’s inventory for future distribution.

Fans of JYJ sent rice-wreathes to various events, including JYJ’s showcases, concerts, fanmeets, Junsu’s musicals (‘Tears of Heaven’, ‘Mozart’, ‘Elizabeth’), Yoochun’s drama filming events (‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’, ‘Miss Ripley’, ‘Rooftop Prince’), and Jaejoong’s drama filming events (‘Protect the Boss’, ‘Dr Jin’). Furthermore, fans also donated wreathes at the funeral for Yoochun’s father back in March as a sign of condolences.

Some of the places that received donations included the St Paul and Anne House, the council of Yangpyeonggun (which then delivered the rice to 500 homes), an office for the Community Chest of Korea in Busan, the Sancta Familia House in Gapyeong, and a center that helped children who attended school without lunch meals.

It’s certainly admirable and inspiring to see idols and fans banding together to do so much good to help the community, especially knowing that this isn’t the first time that JYJ & its legion of fans have donated to charities.

In order to participate in the event by popular group JYJ, 7024 Japanese fans will be flying over to Korea.

JYJ’s management agency, C-Jes Entertainment explained, “For four days from 28 May, a large-scale exposition, the ’2012 JYJ Membership Week’, will be held at the Seoul Trade Exhibition & Convention (SETEC). This is a large-scale event, which will include activities such as an exhibition and fanmeetings for JYJ’s fan membership members.”

The fan expo, which will be the first of its kind to be held in Korea, will include the use of 3D-imagery and illusions, as well as a large exhibition hall. Fanmeetings will be held on 30 June and 1 July.

An expected 25000 people will be participating in the event this time, including 15000 Korean members and 7024 Japanese members. The Japanese fans will be entering Korea via 116 flights from 14 airlines, from airports such as Narita, Haneda and Kansai. Also, aside from those in Seoul, 1000 rooms have been reserved in hotels in Incheon and Suwon.

Recently, JYJ, who has finished the video filming and photoshoot for this event, said, “We are looking forward to it as it is a meaningful event which will allow us to repay everyone for their support. We were able to complete the filming in an excited and fun mood. We want to allow the fans to feel this happiness as well.”

In order to commemorate the release of his new solo album ‘XIA-TARANTALLEGRA‘, JYJ‘s Kim Junsu recently held a private autograph signing event.

A handful of fans who purchased Junsu’s solo album were randomly selected to attend the private event, but others had gathered in the area in order to try and catch a glimpse of him from a distance.

Junsu who was touched by their unending support took some time to talk about his latest activities, and even fulfilled a few of his fans’ wishes. When asked to sing a song for them on the spot, Junsu earned the wild cheers of his fans after performing “Lullaby” and “Reason“.

Kim Junsu’s agency C-JeS Entertainment remarked, “This autograph event was held as a way of giving back to the fans who have showed him unending love and support for his solo album, and he spent some quality time with his fans for the first time in a while.
