The song is more beautiful than the lyrics, but I can understand how Junsu connects to the lyrics. Junsu takes this music and song to a new level. It reminds me somewhat of ‘I Gotta Be Me”.

Kim Jaejoong will be releasing ‘ONE KISS’, one of the tracks of his first solo mini album, on the 8th.

C-JeS Entertainment stated, “The title song of Kim Jaejoong’s album is ‘MINE’. As a rock collaboration with Kim Bada with an intense sound, we recently filmed a large-scale music video that fits the lyrics. We will pre-release ‘ONE KISS’ at noon on the 8th. As a song that showcases Kim Jaejoong husky, melodious and charming vocals, it’s a sophisticated song that fits the cold winter season.”

They continued to reveal, “Ahead of the mini album’s release on the 17th of January, ‘ONE KISS’ will be released online on the 8th and we plan to release the making cut and teaser videos of the ‘MINE’ music video after that.”

Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini album will begin selling online and offline on the 7th of January. The album can be reserved offline at Kyobo Books and Synnara Records, and online on the websites of Kyobo Books, Synnara Records, Interpark, Yes24 and Aladdin. Reservations can be made till the 14th of January.

Meanwhile, Kim Jaejoong is planning a special concert titled ‘Your. My and Mine’ on the 26th and 27th of January and ticketing will begin on the 7th of January on Interpark (www.interpark.com).

Jacket photos from JYJ’s Jaejoong’s first solo mini-album have been revealed.

On 2 Dec, Jaejoong’s jacket photos, as well as photos of props, were revealed via the JYJ official Facebook account. In the photo that was revealed, Jaejoong is seen with his eyes closed, presenting a dreamy appearance. In particular, the unique eyelashes are attention-grabbing.

In relation to this, C-Jes Entertainment representatives said, “Jaejoong worked on the lyrics for all the songs in the album this time. Jaejoong’s first solo mini-album incorporates his own life perfectly into music. As presented in the jacket photo that was released, this is a piece of work that presents the troubles and happiness Jaejoong experiences as an artiste.”

He also went on to explain the concept behind the outfit, “As the title track is a rock song, we made use of metallic elements as well as other cold-toned props. We adopted a very avant-garde style. To suit Jaejoong’s luxurious and mysterious image, we completed the unique look with innovative prints and designs.”

In commemoration of the release of Jaejoong’s mini-album, he will be holding a mini-concert cum fanmeeting, “Your, My and Mine” at the KINTEX, Ilsan, on 26 and 27 Jan.

Idol group JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong won the Rookie of the Year award at the MBC Drama Awards.

During the 2012 MBC Drama Awards, which was held on the 30th at 8:40pm, the Male Rookie of the Year award was given to Kim Jaejoong of ‘Dr. Jin’ and Lee Jang Woo of ‘Oh Ja Ryong is Coming’.

Kim Jaejoong stood in front of the microphone during his acceptance speech and stated, “I’m even more nervous because my parents are here. Before, acting used to be something I had to do, but ‘Dr. Jin’ made acting something I wanted to do.”

He ended his speech by addressing his fellow JYJ members and saying, “There are so many people I want to thank, but if I tried to list them all, that list would never end. But (Park) Yoochun, and (Kim) Junsu, who couldn’t be here today… Thank you so much for being such a great strength to me.”

Kim Jaejoong played the role of Kim Kyung Tak in ‘Dr. Jin’. Though it was the first time that he had tried acting in a historical drama, his concentration and acting talent helped lead the drama to greater popularity.

Park Yoochun won the Excellence Award for Male Actors in a Miniseries.

The ’2012 MBC Drama Awards’ ceremony was held at the MBC Open Hall on the 30th, led by Actor Kim Jae Won and Singer Son Dambi.

Park Yoochun won the ‘Excellence Award’ for his role in ‘I Miss You’ and stated, “My family is here with me right now, and I’m grateful to have them here. We’re still in the process of filming for the drama, so please give us your love till the very end,” and “So many things have happened this year, and I’m happy to be ending the year with such a great award. I will work harder than ever before from now on.”

Kim Jaejoong, who announced the winner of the Excellence Award, described the winner as “An actor I really like,” before stating Park Yoochun’s name.

Park Yoochun plays the role of Han Jung Woo in ‘I Miss You’ and is receiving high praise for his acting.

Actor Park Yoochun has swept the major awards of the 3 major agencies in 3 years, completing the grand slam and showcasing his power.

Park Yoochun received 4 awards in 2012 SBS Acting Awards, receiving the Excellence Award, Best Couple Award, Netizen’s Most Popular Award, The Teen Idol Award with his first SBS drama ‘Rooftop Prince’.

Receiving the Best Rookie Award in his debut year in KBS with ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’, and in the following year in MBC with ‘Miss Ripley’, he also won the Excellence Award in 2012 MBC Acting Awards with ‘I Miss You’ as well, before completing the unprecedented rout with ‘Rooftop Prince’.

Tickets for Jaejoong‘s solo concert will go on sale on January 7th.

C-Jes Entertainment had confirmed his solo album for January 17th, and released a teaser which was filmed from his studio as well. They had also announced the concert dates to be on January 26th and 27th.

The online ticket site Interpark revealed, “Tickets for Jaejoong’s concert titled “Your, My, and Mine” will go on sale on January 7th.”

Jaejoong said, “As I wrote all the lyrics for my album, I wrote about all the things I wanted to say and about the things that make me happy recently. I think this will be a meaningful place where I can show my fans the way I exactly am.“

Along with the release of his first solo album, JYJ’s Jaejoong will be appearing in front of the fans through a special concert.

According to Jaejoong’s management agency, C-Jes Entertainment, “Jaejoong will be releasing his first solo album on 17 Jan next year. Jaejoong is scheduled to hold a special concert on 26 and 27 Jan, along with the release of the album, and in time with his birthday.”

(C-Jes also) explained that Jaejoong’s concert this time will take on a unique form of a mini-concert combined with a fanmeeting. It is expected for Jaejoong, who is currently preparing for his new solo rock album, to showcase rock performances wit special concepts.

C-Jes representatives expressed, “The concert this time will be a large-scale performance consisting three segments. It will be a combination of a mini-concert and a fanmeeting, and fans will be able to enjoy Jaejoong’s live performances of songs including those in the first mini-album. It will be a meaningful occasion for Jaejoong, who has successfully held fanmeetings in 4 Asian countries this November, to finally update the local fans about his recent activities.”

The tile of Jaejoong’s concert this time is “Your, My and Mine”. It was decided upon with the thought of wanting to express Jaejoong’s gratitude to the fans through the stage, in time with his birthday on 26 Jan.

Jaejoong commented, “I worked on the lyrics for all the songs in the album this time. They spell out the things that I have wanted to say up till now, the things that have been troubling me recently and the things that have brought me happiness. I think that the concert this time will be a meaningful event for me to show the most genuine side of me to my fans.”

Jaejoong’s “Your, My and Mine” will be held at KINTEX, Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do on 26 and 27 Jan 2013. Ticket reservations will begin on 7 Jan 2013 via Interpark.

Fans of JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong have donated 10.8 million Won (approximately 10,080 USD) to fight against unfair lunch costs for students.

The members of ‘Straightforward HEROSE Noonas’, a fansite that supports Kim Jaejoong, visited the Beautiful Foundation on the 22nd and donated 10.8 million Won to the ‘I Oppose’ campaign that aims to fight against unfair lunch costs for children.

‘I Oppose’ is a campaign that fights against the unfair lunch money children living in institutions receive, which has been calculated as being around 1,420 Won per meal, and supports these children by providing financial aid in the form of donations and working to change government policies.

Though the Ministry of Health and Welfare has stated that the recommended cost of lunch for children should be 3,500 Won or above, but these children must figure out how to eat lunch with money that doesn’t reach this standard.

Hearing this, the members of ‘HEROSE Noonas’ donated 10.8 million Won from the proceeds of selling ‘HEROSE goods’ with the message, “Please use our donation to ensure that children in institutions can eat the same food as others.”

The Beautiful Foundation stated, “Fans these days have been creating a positive fandom culture, not only by donating, but also by participating in voluntary services with their favorite celebrity and donating in their celebrity’s name.”
