Pop artiste Nancy Lang has chosen JYJ’s Park Yoochun as her ideal type.

In a recent appearance on MBC Queen’s ‘Talk Concert Queen’, Nancy Lang talked about the various rumors and misunderstandings that surround her.

During the day’s episode, the MCs asked who the star’s ideal type was as they brought up an old statement she made that, “I like men with sexy brains.”

Nancy Lang hesitated before she said, “Park Yoochun.” She explained, “I can really feel that he has a sexy brain when I see his ever-changing gaze and passion when he acts.”

Nancy Lang added, “I want to hold his hand and walk around the palace like he did in the SBS drama ‘Rooftop Prince’, but I’m scored that I’ll be attacked because he has so many fans.”

An official announcement will be released on JYJ Park Yoochun’s potential appearance in the movie ‘Sea Fog’.

OSEN reported on the 19th that Park Yoochun has been confirmed to appear in Director Bong Joon Ho’s ‘Sea Fog’.

According to the media outlet, Park Yoochun will play crewman Dong Shik, the antagonist of the captain, set to be played by Kim Yoon Seok. The role of Dong Shik was initially offered to Song Joong Ki but with his military enlistment approaching, the role has now been given to Park Yoochun.

Park Yoochun’s agency seemed hesitant to speak up about the news. In a phone conversation with Donga.com, a representative of C-JeS stated, “We can’t really talk about the details right now. We will release an official announcement soon.”

The movie ‘Sea Fog’ is garnering much attention for being the first movie produced by Director Bong Joon Ho, who was in charge of the recent hit ‘Snowpiercer’.

The Chinese fan community of JYJ’s Park Yoochun has hit over 210,000 members, prompting the star to express some words of gratitude.

C-JeS Entertainment revealed, “Park Yoochun’s Baidu Community has hit over 210,000 members in commemoration of their ninth anniversary. Park Yoochun expressed his gratitude for his Chinese fans’ warm affection and love for him through a personal signature for the site. He has been gaining popularity in China for his roles in ‘Rooftop Prince’ and ‘I Miss You’, and he will work hard to return with a great follow-up production as the hottest Hallyu star in China.”

Park Yoochun sent the site a signature with the message, “Thank you, I’ll see you soon with a great production.”

Park Yoochun’s Baidu fan community has been gaining approximately 300 new members a day for the past year, showing just how popular the star is in China.

Park Yoochun’s drama ‘Rooftop Prince’ became the most watched Korean drama on China’s biggest video site, as well as the third most watched drama overall. Even six months after it finished airing, it still boasts over 90,000 hits a day, with the total number of views hitting 100 billion.

Meanwhile, Park Yoochun is currently reviewing possible follow-up productions.

I Miss You’, which stars Yoon Eun Hae, Park Yoochun and Yoo Seung Ho, is set to air in China with Chinese dubbing.

According to China’s The Beijing News, it was decided on the 13th during the 19th Shanghai TV Drama Festival that ‘I Miss You’ will be aired in China. Park Yoochun is set to voice the Chinese dubbing of his own character.

The marketing manager of Haoju Drama Co. Ltd., the company that has bought the broadcasting rights of ‘I Miss You’ in China, stated, “The specifics of the dubbing project is still under advisement,” and “Park Yoochun has already begun studying Chinese.”

The Chinese version of ‘I Miss You’ plans to capture the hearts of Chinese viewers as it will also include scenes that were not aired in Korea. A specific broadcasting company and time slot have not been confirmed as of yet.

‘I Miss You’ is a melodrama that depicts the love story of a man and women who are hurting from the scars of the memories of their first love.

Today, Yoochun held his solo fan sign event and brightened his fans hearts.

His agency stated that there were a couple hundred fans waiting to meet him and had been waiting in the rain for 2 days in line to see him.

Yoochun did not lose his smile and showed off his sweet and gentle personality throughout the entire fan event.

‘Rooftop Prince’, which features Hallyu star JYJ’s Park Yoochun and Han Ji Min, is set to air on TV in Japan.

According to TBS, a Japanese terrestrial broadcasting company, on the 10th, ‘Rooftop Prince’ will begin airing on the 3rd of June on TBS’ ‘Hallyu Select’ at 10:05am every day for an hour.

TBS introduce ‘Rooftop Prince’ as, “A drama that fans all over the world went crazy for, with fans from 36 countries streaming the drama live when it was airing in Korea. Park Yoochun even graced the covers of magazines in Japan even before it began airing.” TBS also talked of the company’s anticipation for the drama as they added, “Park Yoochun will steal the hearts of his viewers with high quality historical acting and a perfectly fitting role.”

‘Rooftop Prince’ first aired in Japan last July on KNTV. It then aired on WOWOW and became a huge hit as a DVD as well. A representative of the industry stated, “The popularity for the drama has spiked since JYJ ended their lawsuit in Japan and successfully held a concert in Tokyo Dome.”

JYJ Yoochun-Girls Generation Yuri Receive Popular TV Star Awards

JYJ’s Yoochun and Girls’ Generation’s Yuri both took home a Popular TV Star trophy at 2013 Paeksang Arts Awards. Park Shin Hye and Shinhwa’s Kim Dong Wan also received the honor in the film category of the award ceremony.

Yoochun spoke at the podium upon receiving the award: “I am so thankful for such an award. I will work hard and enjoy the learning process and hopefully stand here again next year.”

Kim Dong Wan also stated, “I am incredibly grateful. I lack in so many aspects as an actor but I am honored to be given an award like this. Especially for a singer-turned-actor like myself, awards mean a huge deal. I will continue to work hard as an actor and a singer as Shinhwa returns to the stage next week.”

Park Shin Hye, who received the Popular Movie Star award for three straight years, shared her thoughts: “I think a lot of the popularity was from the movie ‘Miracle in Cell no. 7.’ This is a great honor and I have nothing else to say but thanks to all my fans. Last year was a year of learning and I am extremely happy to receive an award on top of everything I learned. Thank you.”

Girls’ Generation’s Yuri was unable to attend the ceremony.
