[Trans] 120920 Kim Junsu’s Elisabeth OST Tops Hanteo’s Annual Charts In Three Days

Kim Junsu’s Elisabeth OST is on fire.

The ‘Musical Elisabeth Special Edition OST’, which Kim Junsu featured in, has already topped Hanteo’s annual charts in only three days.

In the domestic OST and musicals category of the ‘Hanteo Charts’, which has been collecting data for its annual charts since the beginning of January this year, Kim Junsu came out on top as he sold approximately 9,100 copies of the OST in three days, proving yet again the power of the ‘Kim Junsu effect’.

This special edition OST is more meaningful to Kim Junsu as it is the first time that he has participated in a musical OST CD. It has been garnering much attention from his fans, even before its release, as it was announced that it would include an exclusive interview and photobook of Kim Junsu.

A music representative stated, “It’s amazing that the album reached the top of the annual charts in only three days,” and “Kim Junsu has a natural talent as a musical actor and has enough ticket power to sell out all his performances.”

Meanwhile, Kim Junsu has successfully completed the Asia, and North and South America legs of his world tour and his preparing for his final leg in Europe.

Captain CoCo and The Bubble Incident Chapter 1: First Engagement Part 3

You may have noticed that there has been no mention of a Science Officer. There is a reason for this omission. The Science Officer on the ISP Grande Pollo lives in a world of his own that does not include the bridge of the ship. At present he is engaged with his latest project–an Eggonizer 6000 version Alpha, prototype 1 egg projection machine, complete with a massive chute that can accomodate 18 giant eggs per second. Captain CoCo demands the biggest and the best of buffalo wings, therefore, the ISP Grande Pollo is carrying a cargo hold full of plump, delicious giant chickens imported to earth across the galaxy from the planet MaxiDna, famed for its sole occupation of raising and exporting chickens. Captain CoCo has voiced his desire to someday retire to this planet and to live a life as a chicken recipe tester. He has heard that they are incapable of frying chicken due to lack of oil supplies, therefore, the entrepreneur in him is stimulated to bring frying technology to the planet. But we get off focus…

The resident science officer, called Smarticus for lack of knowledge of his real name which he has forgotten after years of intense research and exposure to chicken feathers–stands 6 foot 8 in his stockinged feet and has a perpetual crest shaped-Mohawk hairstyle, rumored to express his constant delight with his chicken friends. It is also rumored that he lives on corn and watermelon.

As Captain CoCo and Protection Officer Bun-Bo race for the engineering section with Chief Engineer Francois bringing up a distant rear, they hear Science Officer Smarticus exclaim from his chicken lab, “Eureka!!! I have done it. It’s Alive, it’s Alive!!!”

Captain CoCo stops dead in his tracks, sliding furiously on corn and straw and causing an epic dogpile of all three officers. His brain begins to whirl with possibilities, for he knows what Smarticus has been working on. Smarticus is probably the only officer on board that Captain CoCo gives grudging respect, and is certainly the one officer who gets away with not approaching the bridge. Spitting out corn and straw while lashing out at his unfortunate officers who are presently pressing him into the fertilized chicken bed, Captain CoCo aggressively rounds on Science Officer Smarticus with the following tirade: “How often have I told you to keep this area clean, Mister!!! And why didn’t you hear the alarm?”

“I did. I put him in his cage so that he would not disturb my best layers. My weapon demands top quality eggs.”

“I heard you scream ‘Success!!!'”

“No, Captain, I screamed ‘Eureka’…an old earth term.” Smarticus has a reputation for using quick, impertinent answers, an undesirable trait on his poetic home planet of Bard. Perhaps this is why he felt a need to leave home and join the ISP Force. Sometimes Captain CoCo wishes that the eccentric scientist felt the same need to leave the ISP Force. However, this would result in smaller chicken portions aboard the ISP Grande Pollo. Also, Smarticus’ help is the only reason that Captain CoCo managed to graduate from the academy…a fact Smarticus is always quick to point out when the good captain threatens his prized chickens (and his smart-aleck retorts) with exile. Whichever planet happens to be in the area when he and Captain CoCo engage in one of their frequent arguments is targeted as Smarticus’ next home. But, we’re unfocused again,,,

Captain CoCo shoves Protection Officer Bun-Bo and Chief Engineer Francois aside and staggers to his feet, lurching to the chicken inhabited sink to rinse out his mouth. “Feathers, Feathers,” he intones, sticking out his tongue on each syllable. “I need the Thespiadeck. I need to relax.”

Science Officer Smarticus is starting to comprehend the gravity of the situation. “Captain? Is there a major problem? I smell strawberries instead of chicken droppings.”

Captain Coco rolls his eyes. “The ship is under attack and will be flooded with strawberry bubblebath, Smarticus.  We have half an hour to defeat the enemy or die!!! Perhaps your Eureka meant that you have perfected the egg ejection machine?”

“Not egg ejection, Captain, egg projection. This baby can lob eighteen eggs a second under high power and strike deep into outerspace. Would you like a demonstration?”

“No, Smarticus, I demand instant application. Chief Engineer Francois, find some strong persons to assist the Science Officer. We have our counter weapon!!!  Protection Officier Bun-Bo, get a visual hail and mystify the Bubble Berry Soapy ship with your cool dance moves. Get help if you must. I mean work it, Mr!!!  I want their attention solely on you. Got it?”

“Got it Sir!” both officers cry out. They can scent battle and the adrenaline is starting to flow.

Chief Engineer Francois hurries to the Engineering section. No intercom remember? He manages to grab three strong junior officers and directs them back to the Eggonizer 6000 where Science Officer Smarticus and Captain CoCo are already loading the weapon with the largest eggs they can find. Smarticus has been using chicken manure to create methane gas and has stored it on-board the ISP Grande Pollo for months. This methane gas is what will provide the bio-fuel for the Eggonizer. Captain Coco is in the process of  threatening to court-martial Smarticus for storing this volatile fuel on board without his knowledge. We all know how that goes. Court-martial; smourt-martial.

Protection Officer Bun-Bo sprints to his quarters to collect his MP3 Player. Yes, you read it right. MP3 Player. Everything on this totally advanced ISP Grande Pollo is ancient!  He sprints to the bridge [by-the-way, there are no elevators either] and upon his arrival addresses Lt. Bomma Whama at the communications board.

“Lt. Bomma Whama, is there a way to pipe this music through to the Strawberry Bubble ship?”

“Certainly Protection Officer Bun-Bo. I’ll just leave the telephone off the hook. and turn the music up to full volume. Just give me a moment.”

While Lt. Bomma Whama is setting up the music, Ensign Allegra, the Navigator, is sitting stunned. She has managed to clear the view screen enough to show the Bubble Berry Soapy in all its splendor–a pink, shiny hull is its most prominent. feature. A continuous stream of bubbles is pouring forth from its stern, and port ejectors are shooting strawberry bubble bath at the ISP Grande Pollo. [Don’t worry about the physics here, we’re not trying to make this logical] The view of the Bubble Berry Soapy isn’t why Ensign Allegra is sitting stunned. It is because as a grand keyboardist, the thought of using an MP3 Player to pipe music through both ships is horrifying. Ensign Allegra jumps up and rushes to her quarters where she unhooks her keyboard and totes it [it’s heavy] back to the bridge. Winking at Lt. Bomma Whama who is staring at her, Ensign Allegra hooks the keyboard to the communications console speakers and begins to play.

Meanwhile, Officer Bun-Bo is not on the bridge. He has gone to fetch Doc Shades and Mr. Blade to assist him in his dancing efforts. Remember, all crewmembers must be able to sing, dance, and act. [If you haven’f noticed, there is no bridge discipline] Everyone is scattered all over the ship!

Lt. Bomma Whama has just finished upping the volume and dialing the Bubble Berry Soapy bridge when all three officers rush in. They have heard the mad keyboading on their way to the bridge and they begin to dance right in step with the music and each other. “I have visual contact!!!” says the Ensign at the console. The Bubble Berry Soapy bridge crew is glued to the screen as they watch the gyrations of [by now] the entire ISP Grande Pollo dance team.  What I mean by entire dance team is every crew member not engaged in the last ditch scrambling efforts to save the ship. Counselor Penna, never one to dance in public, is popping and bopping like no tomorrow, which, if you stop and think about it, could prove quite accurate. Everybody is now engaged in saving the ship. They are rockin’, ya hear me? Rockin’!!!

Back at the egg factory–Captain Coco, Officer Smarticus, and the three junior officers are drenched in sweat. They have loaded 8,000 ostrich-sized eggs into the Eggonizer’s chambers and are now approaching the arduous task of touching the button to begin the firing sequence. They have aimed the trajectory of the Eggonizer at the helm of the Bubble Berry Soapy. Hopefully, they will be able to cover the bridge hull with raw egg and shells. The heat from the firing will deliver the eggs half-cooked to become a glutinous stinky mass.

“Fire!!!”  Captain Coco’s voice booms loudly as the first volley of eggs releases from the first Eggonizer chamber. Going at the speed of 18 eggs per second, the hull is soon covered thickly in [an omelet?]…Oh Dear.

“Keep firing,” orders Captain CoCo. “I need to check up on Protection Officer Bun-Bo. It’s hard to dance that energetically by yourself. I will go help him.” [Giggle. Can’t resist can ya?]

As we all know, Captain Wash-a-lot was last seen wandering toward the bathtub with his rubber ducky. Frustrated, but confident of his ship’s and crew’s abilities, he has left the Bubble Berry Soapy in the hands of his First Officer, Mr. Strawberry Shake–so named because of his ceaseless shaking in the face of danger. Mr.Shake’s teeth are chattering noisily at this moment as he sends an ensign for the Captain.

“Ensign Wells, g-go in-f-form the Captain t-that h-e-e’s n-n-needed on the b-bridge”.

“Yes Mr, Shake, Sir!”

Captain Wash-a-lot is deeply asleep after that wonderful bubblebath.

“Captain!!! Captain, you’re needed on the bridge, Sir!” blurts the baby-faced ensign. “The ship has fired on us while we were watching them move really strange to music, and we are now covered in a giant omelet!”

“Aw…that’s why I was dreaming of dancing with quiche,” mutters Captain Wash-a-lot. “I didn’t get to eat it, though. Go back and man your station, Ensign, I’ll be right there.”

“Yes, Sir, Captain Sir.”

Captain Wash-a-lot sits for a few seconds pondering this change in affairs. “Eggs,” he mutters. “Eggs!! Eggs and dancing? “He begins to giggle. “I like this Captain CoCo. I do. Snort. Snort. Time for negotiations. We seem to be at a stalemate!!!”

To be continued…Muahahahaha!!!…

[News] 120904 Xia Junsu – Hollywood Palladium – September 2, 2012

[News] 120904 Xia Junsu – Hollywood Palladium – September 2, 2012

 Tiffanie Lee

Xia Junsu
Hollywood Palladium
09-02-2012

At 25-years-old, “Xia” Kim Junsu has seen more than his share of drama. He ascended to pop royalty in the wildly successful five-member boy band TVXQ (aka DBSK). Following the success of their iconic single “Mirotic” in 2009, he and two other members filed a lawsuit against their label, citing unfair profits margins and an unreasonably long 13-year contract.

They won. Sort of.

In response, the label filed an injunction against the rebellious three; though it was dismissed last year, it led to a hiatus of the legendary K-pop act. Some of the new members formed a new boy band, JYJ, which Kim is still in, despite having his solo gig on the side.

What sets Xia apart from other soloists is that he’s had to label hop (he’s now with C-JeS) so he can get closer to doing whatever he wants; Korean record labels are run like the old Hollywood studio system, and rarely do any stars get autonomy.

Like pop diva Robyn, Kim’s had to snuff out his own bubblegum career in order to emerge as an artist with some semblance of control over his own vision. There’s a reason most proteges don’t strike out on their own: Xia’s own journey has, up until recently, been plagued with constant label changes and suspensions.

In the past three years Kim has played the titular character of Mozart!, released his first solo album Tarantallegra, and has an international tour that recently went through Asia, Europe, South America and is now finishing in the U.S.

While Kim relied heavily on a translator throughout the night, it did not preclude him from interacting happily and extensively. In fact, there were times when Kim just looked content to be musing out loud to a throng of doe-eyed girls.

His new English single “Uncommitted,” produced by Bruce “Automatic” Vanderveer, sounds like it could have been for JT. After performing it live for the first time, Kim remarked that it was really hard to be so intimate with the ladies playing his girlfriends in the video, who had to coach and relax him on set. “Really!” he chirped to the crowd, in English.

Like Michael Jackson, to whom he is often compared, Kim proved to be a commanding performer, carrying a bit of sexuality, but also naiveté. In his bashful interactions with the crowd you almost couldn’t believe this was the guy whose trademark move is the pantomimed doggy style.

Kim has a peculiar allure. He combines the androgyny of a Japanese shock rocker with the masculine prowess of a R&B mack daddy. As the son of a former Miss Korea, he knows a thing or two about pageantry and possesses a feminine mystique. And it drives girls wild.

It’s a shame that most of the night was marred by poor sound quality. Kim’s set design and production quality was impressive, but couched within a traditional rock venue, the hard, militaristic beats didn’t quite work.

 Tiffanie Lee

What Kim’s solo career has shown is that his creative passions run far, wide and random. He is a disciplined veteran who easily belts out throaty, velvety jams, all while throwing down polished dance moves. But deep down inside, you know he just can’t wait to let loose on his operatic power ballads.Kim absolutely radiated (and wept) during songs like “I Hate Love” and “Leaves.” He’s not just a theatrical performer. He’s a theater geek trapped in a pop star’s body. Babs, Liza, this is your guy.Nevertheless, the standout performance of the night was the album’s titular single “Tarantallegra,” a rumbling hybrid of pop-meets-classical. The song’s catchline is, “What music would you listen to?” His raging international fans can easily answer that.

Personal Bias: I still get this guy confused with Big Bang’s G-Dragon. I know, not all blonde, svelte K-poppers look alike.

The Crowd: Tweens on the verge of meltdown.

[News] 120906 K-Pop’s First Artist to Perform in Mexico, JYJ Junsu, “I Gave up My Drama Casting Role for This Album

[News] 120906 K-Pop’s First Artist to Perform in Mexico, JYJ Junsu, “I Gave up My Drama Casting Role for This Album

Junsu stated, “There is about 500,000 miles that I didn’t use earlier this year for my mileage, but it does not matter. Wherever my fans are, I will go to see them.”

Junsu stated, “There is about 500,000 miles that I didn’t use earlier this year for my mileage, but it does not matter. Wherever my fans are, I will go to see them.”

JYJ member Junsu is the first K-Pop artist to perform in Mexico. Junsu commented, “I worked really hard not to make anything boring or normal.”

Yesterday, Junsu held a press conference in Mexico. Junsu commented, “Although this was my first concert in Mexico, I was shocked to see that all 3,000 seats were sold out. Since I am the first K-Pop musician to perform here, I promise not to let anyone down.”

There had been many problems before being able to release a solo album and hold a world tour. Junsu commented, “In reality, it is hard to show someone’s face on TV unless it’s acting and so I rejected the idea to make a new album at first. I was also casted for a mini drama series, but if both my acting and singing career are on the line, I knew that I would have to choose what I am best at. That is why I gave up my acting role and decided to go on with making this album.”

Junsu’s new album was a major success with over 120,000 albums sold. His Asia tour brought in 40,000 fans as well.

Junsu believed that his success was due to the internet. He commented, “The days where songs would only become popular through TV broadcasts are gone. Now, it become popular through music videos online. The internet allows anyone to advertise their content online.”

Junsu also commented, “Doing musicals helped me change into a more positive person. Certain things I’ve learned from musicals helped me to make this new album as well. If I had not done musicals, I would not have made this great album. Musicals helped me to express myself freely as an artist.”

Junsu was very thankful that he was able to portray his own style and image through this album.

After his concert in Mexico, he will continue on to Brazil and Chile.

[Trans] 120905 Junsu Twitter Update

Junsu: Ah, everyone should have heard about the news for Elisabeth OST already right!? ^^ It was delayed due to the solo album. But since it was to be released, rather than releasing it in a rush, I rather present a good quality product to everyone. It was me who was a bit stubborn.. ^^;;

Junsu: Though I know fans are very curious… and also know the effort by EMK… but this is the first musical album and therefore I wish more effort was spent~ I would like to take this chance to apologise to EMK family due to my greed keke

Junsu: Additionally, the reason for actor’s version is due to actual circumstances… Actual circumstances is due to vocal editing like the noise and vocal quality and needed time to enhance it… And also to let you all listen to streaming and thus have to be recorded separately, resulting in the late release.. ㅜ

Junsu: I would like to express my thanks once again to Young Ki hyung and Joo Hyun noona who took out time to record ^^ Using Twitter to express Thanks to. keke

[INTERVIEW-CYWORLD] World-Class Vocalist, XIA Junsu’s Recommended Music

Hello, Cyworld members!
I am XIA, greeting everyone through my official solo album and English single.
Nice to meet you

1. This time, TARANTALLEGRA is a song that you personallly composed and I was very surprised at its fairly high quality. Since when have you started composing songs? – Gwon Gooyoung

Firstly, the musical aspect of this song is also important but because I pictured out the visual aspect first then composed it, I worked on both composition and filming for the music video at the same time. Besides, the music video was released 1 day before the song itself so I have to work harder on the visual aspect like choreography and fashion etc to make the song even better.

I think I started composing when I was 20. I learnt about the basics of composition and naturally strengthened my skills as what I felt and learnt by myself along the way. At the moment, I still want to learn more about this and also compose more songs.

2. I am curious whether you got the inspirations from which circumstance while composing. From natural scene? Your everyday life? Or, did they just suddenly come to you? -@shiningspot

Everything around me, also everything that happened to me is my inspiration.
If a melody or a beat pops up in my head, I will run to the composing room right away to compose and keep them there. The title song of my solo album was inspired a lot by the role ‘Death’ in musical Elisabeth in terms of its mystical and androgynous vibe.

3. When did you have the idea of adding the sound of gong instrument into the Oriental version of TARANTALLEGRA? Also, is the high-pitched part at the end your ad-lib? -@wnstn4803

It is because TARANTALLEGRA is a song where orchestra was grafted onto pop. Ever since its music was finished, I have thought that if I get to make a remix for my repackage album later on, I will make use of gong instrument in order to revive a Korean sense, and also an Oriental feeling for the song.

When I was young, I have learnt how to play Samul nori like Jang-gu, Buk and Gong. To be honest, because it is an English version, I planned to put aside the idea of adding the sound of traditional instruments but after recording the song, it came to my mind that they would match even better with an English song like this so I decided to add the sound of gong into the record. The reason why I add the ad-lib part at the end is because I want to put the fantasy and oriental sense of the song to the extreme. Imagining about that feeling in my mind, I naturally added in my ad-lib while singing.

(T/N: Samul nori is 4 traditional musical instruments of Korea, including Jang-gu, Buk, KKaeng-kwa-ri and Jing )

4. Is there any interesting episode when you recorded for this album? -@peach_xia

I already felt this when working on the worldwide album last time, I felt really carefree when recording. Because the composer respects the artist and respects his feelings 120%, I feel great when working. It is also the same at the recording time. This time when I was singing, I choked a little bit and started coughing, the composer Automatic told me that I could have a rest until whenever I wanted and asked me to have a cup of warm tea then continue, etc he cared about me so much that I didn’t even know how to react. It was a nice time working with him.

5. Which music genre do you want to try in the future? To be honest, do you feel the most confident in any area? -@mim-ee

Honestly, rather than talking about which genre I want to try, everything is considered as challenge to me. I think that in music, the desire to always take on new challenge is very important. Rather than dividing the songs into different genre, I want to sing well every song. For the upcoming World tour, instead of a repackage album, I asked for English song and went to the US to work on my English single then released it. To me, processes like these are also considered as one kind of challenge.

6. If you get to have a duet, please tell us who are the BEST 3 female singers that you definitely want to work with and also why you choose them!

Honestly, I want to work with a lot of singers since there are a lot of excellent singers who can convey endless of  feelings through their voice. I just hope that in the duet song that we sing, our voice would go well with each other and create a crossover effect. Hmm…If I really have to choose then

3rd is Lyn-noona who owns such a beautiful voice.
Then, 2nd is Baek Jiyoung-sunbaenim. I like every OST song that sunbaenim has sung.
1st is Lee Sora-sunbaenim. I felt really honored that sunbaenim has said she wanted to have a duet with me in an article a while ago and I was very impressed when I saw sunbaenim on ‘I am a singer’.

7. Because you have changed your hair color so often when traveling around for your Asia tour, it has become a hot topic among the fans. Why did you change your hair color that often? Also, which hair color do you like the most? -@bbiyoxiah

Because this is my first solo tour so I have to be well prepared and every single city in the tour is equally important. For every concert, I want to see it as a new start and do my best so I changed my hair color. Plus, because of the different color image of each country, I chose my hair color as a part of fan service. As a result, I dyed my hair to yellow for Thailand, blue for Indonesia and Taiwan, red for Shanghai.

8. For the first time in history, all seats in the Sejong Center were sold out (until now, XIA Junsu is still the only one who can do that). Whenever you perform musical, the seats will be all sold out. I think you feel very different at the curatin call when looking at the full audience. I am curious of how you feel ^^! -@For_XIA

I feel thankful. It seems that I became an extreme perfectionist because of this. I have to do as best as I can on every stage. When performing, I couldn’t see the audience but at the curtain call when I saw the whole audience very clearly, I felt so happy and grateful that tears flowed from my eyes.

Big applause from the audiences who watched a performance where all actors and staff have put in their best, then they cried and laughed with us. That is something that makes me feel so happy and thankful that I cannot express in words. And that  naturally gives me motivation to do even better in the next performance.

9. Beside JYJ members, can you list some celebrities that you are close with? I am curious of XIA Junsu’s circle of friends!

I separate them into two big groups. Friends in the entertainment industry, gamers, the ones in my FC MEN team and the sunbaenims in musical industry.

I am close with Kikwang, Doojoon, Jisuk-sunbae, Hyunjoong and Sungkwang-hyung.
I often contact and hang out with some musical sunbaenims like Jo Seungwoo hyung, Seonah-noona, Park Gunhyung-sunbae, Joohyun-noona, Min Younggi-sunbaenim etc.

10. 10 years, 20 years later, what kind of artist will XIA Junsu become? Or, how do you want yourself to be in the future? Like, I think I will still continue to sing this kind of music, or It will be great if everyone always remembers me as such singer..However you want to be! -@XIA_nolene

I don’t think 10 years are too far away. In fact, I think of that as a near future. Of course, I will still take on some challenges 10 years later. Since I will never ever stop challenging myself. I hope I will become an artist in his late 30s that ages nicely. I absolutely don’t have the thought of still being a popular singer until then. Rather than that, it will be great if up to that moment, I am still not afraid of taking on challenges, still love music, still do my best on stage and also I hope to become a Kim Junsu who will get to know more about life and get wiser with age.

XIA Junsu’s recommended BGM

1. 5 songs that recently XIA Junsu has been listening to the most

1st: Gangnam style – Psy
I definitely listen to Psy hyung’s hit song very often recently.

2nd: Beautiful night – BEAST
BEAST dongsaengs’ song :-)

3rd: Cherry blossom ending – Busker Busker
A simple song

4th: Love is dripping – 10cm

5th: So sick – Neyo

Honestly speaking, I don’t listen to any specific song or singer. The songs I listen to are random so it seems like I don’t have such thought like I must definitely recommend the song of this singer. There are times that I listen to a lot of pop songs but when I worked on my song in USA, I also listened to a lot of hip-hop and R&B. To be honest, the song that I listen to the most is my own song. In order to monitor the songs in my released album, I listen to them a lot throughout 1-2 weeks.

2. The song that brings comfort to you when you feel tired and troubled in life or the song that has a deep meaning in your life

Why can’t you love me – Park Euntae (Musical Mozart)
Golden star – Shin Youngsook (Musical Mozart)

All these 2 songs are from the musical Mozart. They are the ones that gave me a lot of comfort.

3. If you have lover, the BEST 3 songs that you want to sing to her

1st: Lullaby – Junsu (XIA)
2nd: That man – Baek Jiyoung
3rd: I love you – Tim

If I have a lover, I will want to sing a lot of sweet songs for her. This song is not in Cyworld Music but I really like the song ‘I have never loved like this’ from the musical ‘Tears of heaven’.

4. Among the songs that you have sung so far, which are the BEST 5 songs that you cherish the most:

1st: Fallen leaves – JYJ
2nd: You are so beautiful – XIA
3rd: TARANTALLEGRA – XIA
4th: I dislike love – XIA
5th: Dew-laden tree – XIA

[News] 120903 JYJ’s Jae Joong Is Selected As The Most Handsome Idol Singer

JYJ’s Jae Joong was recently selected as the most handsome idol singer.

Lamar Cosmetic Surgery surveyed 634 customers about the most handsome idol singer who has a perfect face, from August 13 to 31. As a result, Jae Joong ranked first, receiving 178 votes (28 percent).

Receiving favorable reviews for his acting in MBC TV’s drama series Doctor Jin, Jae Joong ranked first, beating other male idol singers. Jae Joong has been popular for his well-defined features and sharp nose.

The people who participated in the survey commented: “I envy Jae Joong’s face.” “Jae Joong might not be a human being because he’s too perfect.” “Jae Joong is so handsome! He’s great!” “Jae Joong is not only handsome but also good at acting and singing.”

Kim Dong Jun, the chief doctor of Lamar Cosmetic Surgery, says, “Jae Joong not only has big eyes, a high nose, and a sharp chin but also has white, clean skin. I think that’s why many people selected Jae Joong as the most handsome idol singer.”

Super Junior’s Siwon ranked second (26 percent, 165 votes), and he was followed by B2ST’s Du Jun (21 percent, 133 votes), Big Bang’s T.O.P (17 percent, 108 votes), SHINee’s Minho, and 2PM’s Nichkhun.
