On October 14, he was the featured guest on SBS’s variety talk program “Healing Camp” where he freely talked about his life as an actor.

MC Lee Kyung Kyu asked, “You’ve worked with Han Hye Jin on ‘Thorn Birds’ and with Sung Yuri on ‘Feast of the Gods.’ Who did you get along with better?” Joo Sang Wook answered, “I think that both people are pretty much similar.”

The hottest musicals that are set to make their debut this year are ‘Wicked’ (Korean), ‘December: The Song That Hasn’t Ended’ and ‘Ghost’. All three will be making their debut in the Korean industry for the first time. Considering the fact that it’s difficult to gauge how good a musical is if it’s never been shown before, it’s natural for musical lovers to be skeptical about these productions. Because of this, ‘Wicked’ is obviously the favorite of the list with a 96% ticket reservation rate (Interpark), attracting 200,000 people in the shortest time ever. Musical columnist Jung Da Hoon stated, “It’s not easy to guess the success level of a debuting musical,” and “Considering the fact that ‘Wicked’ has a storyline and music that has already been recognized, many are excited for it.”

‘Ghost’, which comes all the way from the 5-trillion Won industry of the UK’s West End, stands out as having a well-built storyline, which is familiar as the movie the musical is based on was released in Korea in 1990. The original movie’s popularity and familiarity are the greatest weapon of ‘Ghost’.

‘December’ is in the most unfavorable position as it has never been shown before. However, it has more than enough up its sleeve to come out on top. Bringing in Kim Junsu, who has the biggest ‘ticket power’ in the industry, and teaming him up with Kim Kwang Seok’s music. The part that U-Know Yunho is gearing up to play is Lee Hwi Kyung, the son of a chaebol. Movies starring Hallyu star JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong and boy group Boyfriend topped Japan’s Oricon chart – DVD movie category.

According to Japan’s largest music aggregation site, Kim Jaejoong’s starring film- Making of Jackal is Coming Part 2 (Japan title: Jackal) topped Oricon’s daily chart for DVD-movies.

Jackal is about legendary killer Bong Minjeong (Song JiHyo) who kidnaps top star Choi Hyun (Kim Jaejoong). Kim Jaejoong’s casting in the movie drew attention in Japan before the film showing. Previously released ‘Making of Jackal Part 1′ DVD also got a good response and the movie itself ranked no 2 in terms of Korean movie box office earnings for the 1st half of 2013 in Japan.

Han Yaeri and Park Yoochun will be working together on their next project.

According to C-JeS Entertainment, Han Yaeri is currently in the final stages of negotiations for a role in the movie ‘Sea Fog’.

‘Sea Fog’ is based on the 2007 play with the same name and depicts the life of sailors and stowaways out at sea. Han Yaeri will be playing the role of stowaway Hongmae, and will be the romantic love interest of sailor Dong Seok (Park Yoochun). They will also be joined by Kim Yoon Seok and Lee Hui Joon.

Director Shim Sung Bo will be grabbing hold of the megaphone while Director Bong Joon Ho will be in charge of production. The film will begin filming on October 6th.

Korean dramas have finally landed in Greece, the wastelands of the Hallyu Wave.

According to the Greek embassy, MBC’s ‘I Miss You’, which features Park Yoochun as the leading role, began airing on ‘TV100′ on the 4th.

TV100 has ‘I Miss You’ scheduled at 10p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, a prime time TV slot, and also airs the episodes for a second time on Sundays at 2p.m. TV100 airs in Thessaloniki, the second largest city of Greece, and attracts 2 million viewers in the central northern districts of Greece.

A representative of the region stated, “Thessaloniki has a lot of JYJ fans, so we believe that Park Yoochun’s drama will be very popular there.”

EMK Musical Company recently posted their official statement regarding an interview in HEREN.

In an interview with HEREN, Robert Johanson, the director of the musical ‘Elisabeth’, mentioned Kim Junsu’s fans when talking about the concerns surrounding Kim Junsu and Ok Joo Hyun working together in last year’s Elisabeth performances, and we raised an issue with EMK on the problematic nature of this statement.

There were two main points that we requested from EMK.

As this statement was an untruthful report that may cause readers to misunderstand the situation, we requested that they release a statement rectifying the content that provided false information to many people. However, ’s recent apology on their mistranslation of the interview was not 100% in accordance with the solution we had requested, so we will strive to properly explain and rectify the problem with and reporters of concert culture.

Our other request was to send Robert Johanson an e-mail and rectify his misunderstanding of the situation. The e-mail we sent was not one that asked for an apology to Kim Junsu’s fans, instead, it urged him to see the truth of the situation and rectify his view of what fans are like since we have never received a formal objection from the management company in charge (*as we believe that if there was an issue, the management company couldn’t possibly not know about it) on the ‘discontent and dissatisfaction regarding the cast members’ last year that was mentioned in the interview.

What we would like to set straight with the management company is that we have never received any ‘requests’ or ‘complaints’ from fans regarding the choice in musical or cast members since Kim Junsu made his debut in 2010.

The people who came to watch <Mozart!> in 2010, and were who loved musicals and had a certain level of affection for these productions. We believe it is wrong to simply classify these , who gave all of their applause and cheers to the cast and crew for putting all their passion into their work, as .

Because of this, we hope that the official statement and apology that was released was created to highlight and rectify the false information that was reported to who love the musical ‘Elisabeth’, rather than being directed towards a certain or .

Regarding the fact that JYJ’s Park Yoochun will be appearing in ‘Sea Fog’, Bong Joon Ho revealed that the star was highly recommended by Director Shim Sung Bo himself.

Bong Joon Ho met with reporters at a restaurant on the 27th and stated, “Director Shim Sung Bo highly recommended Park Yoochun from the very beginning for his role in ‘Sea Fog’.”

‘Sea Fog’ is the movie adaptation of the play with the same name, and is being produced by Bong Joon Ho and directed by Shim Sung Bo, who took part in writing the scenario of ‘Memories of Murder’.

Kim Yoon Seok play the role of the captain while Park Yoochun will play a crewman and antagonist of the captain.
