[TRANS] 121128 Will The Doors Of Broadcasting Companies Open For JYJ? “Discussions Are Needed”

Will the doors of broadcasting companies open for JYJ, who have been locked in a legal battle with their former agency SM Entertainment?

Following the announcement on the 28th that SM Entertainment and JYJ reached an agreement after three years locked in a legal battle, many are curious to see if this will lead to an appearance in broadcasted TV shows by JYJ.

According to legal circles, SM and the three members of JYJ reached an agreement that all contracts signed by the two parties had effectively ended on the 31st of July, 2009. All relevant lawsuits were to be dropped, and neither party would interfere with the opposite party’s future activities.

With the end of the lawsuit, new possibilities have opened up for the three members of JYJ in the entertainment industry. When JYJ began their individual activities, they weren’t able to appear on TV shows run by the three main broadcasting companies due to their lawsuit with SM. Though Park Yoochun and Kim Jaejoong have been making appearances on TV through dramas, they have not been able to appear on music programs or awards shows since releasing their albums.

For example, in May of 2011, KBS explained the reason why JYJ were not to appear on variety shows such as ‘Music Bank’ when they stated, “JYJ’s lawsuit has not ended with their former agency. It is normal for us to wait and refrain from casting celebrities who are locked in legal battles, as their appearance on TV shows may influence the results of their lawsuits.”

Now that an agreement has ended the lawsuit, the spotlight has shifted to the three main broadcasting companies. Many are curious to see if the end of the lawsuit that has freed JYJ from restrictions will give them the chance to appear on music programs or variety shows.

Regarding this, Jeon Jin Guk, the director of KBS’ variety sector, stated in a phone conversation with OSEN that, “We heard the news through an article. I believe the details of our stance on the issue will be solidified through further discussion,” and “I don’t believe there will be any reason for us to refrain from allowing JYJ to appear on KBS TV shows if their lawsuit has come to a complete end, as that was the reason for our actions.”

MBC’s Won Mak Sik stated, “Though the lawsuit between the two parties has ended, we believe it is a problem that requires time to observe the situation.” Another representative of MBC’s variety sector explained, “We have not yet discussed the possibilities of JYJ appearing on music programs and variety shows,” and “This is an issue that must be considered by the entire variety sector.”

PD Park Seung Min of SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ gave a short statement of, “This is an issue for the entire variety sector to discuss. I can’t say much because there hasn’t been any discussion as of now.”

[NEWS] 121122 JYJ, Is There Anything You Can’t Do?

[NEWS] 121122 JYJ, Is There Anything You Can’t Do?

The group JYJ is drawing public attention with omnidirectional activities including not only films and dramas but also world tour concerts.

The members of JYJ – Jaejoong Kim, Yuchun Park and Junsu Kim are showing off their talents as each of them is doing film, drama and world tour at the same time. Not like other groups who normally start members’ individual activities after group activities finished, all of JYJ members are standing out in each own field at the same time.

The most noticeable member is Jaejoong Kim. Currently he is meeting audience with his screen debut film ‘Code Name: Jackal’ and played a comic role which he has not done before, as a topstar who is kidnapped in the film. It seems that he became more familiar to the public after breaking from former serious characters he played in ‘Dr. Jin’ and ‘Protect the Boss’.

Yuchun Park is challenging melodramatic performance in ‘I Miss You’, MBC WED/THU primetime drama currently being aired. He has been appearing since NOV 21 after the youth parts finished and showed performance as a  police detective who has wounds of the first love in youth. ‘I Miss You is his first serious melodrama as he used to work for romantic comedies in the past. His new challenge is highly expected as he has been recognised well among actors from background of singers.

While Jaejoong Kim and Yuchun Park are leaving music career at the moment, Junsu Kim is taking over the role of a singer instead. The award winning star is due to have a solo concert in Oberhausen, Germany on Nov 30. He is the first Asian singer performing in Oberhausen.

He released a solo album ‘Tarantallegra’ in May and toured successfully in Thailand, Taiwan, China, U.S.A. and Mexico. The tour in Germany is his final stage of the world tours of 8 months.

[Info] 121106 The Person Who Stole Jae Joong’s Heart in Jakarta

[Info] 121106 The Person Who Stole Jae Joong’s Heart in Jakarta

It wasn’t a beautiful woman nor the most cheerful and supportive fans of JYJ Jaejoong that took his heart away during his first fanmeeting last weekend  (3/11) in Jakarta, Indonesia. So who really stole his heart away?

With the rare close encounter opportunity as a surprise, thousands of fans were even more excited and overwhelmed, racking their brains on what to say or do in front of the ‘Ice Prince’.  In their attempt to attract attention, fans were whispering in his ears and sneaky hands were sighted during the photo-taking session though instructions were clearly; no touching. Sadly none of it worked as the ‘Ice Price’ gave equal attention to every fan in the very brief moment they each had.

However, one fan succeeded by not only in attracting his attention, but making him cross the boundaries of no physical contact by just simply being herself.  The two adorable children were sitting quietly next to his seat while waiting for his arrival, a stark difference to the many fans clamoring over the man. JaeJoong’s sole attention was immediately fixated from the moment he laid eyes on them, much to the envy of the fans around. He initiated contact by shaping her tiny fingers to a cute ‘tweeze’ sign and smiled radiantly, something which is hardly seen throughout the fan-meet due to his condition.  It was literally “ignorance is bliss” and it definitely added on to the many reasons for the ladies to want to return to that age of innocence.

It was no doubt that behind his piercing stare and princely image was this warm guy, overflowing with love for children. From the previous photoshoot collaborations campaign with children for NII,to how he paid more attention to children attending his fan-meet, it was evident how good a daddy he will be in future.

So ladies, if having Mr. Kim pay more attention to you is your life mission, next time bring a kid along or go back to being one if you can will definitely get the job done! Now isn’t the girl lucky?

Special thanks to SH Entertainment for the Invitation.
