It’s gotten 300,000 views in one week. The teaser video for ‘Only One’, JYJ’s Incheon Asiad song, has been met with an explosive response.
On the 3rd, the Incheon Asian Games committee uploaded the video on their official YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/Incheon2014) and it garnered over 300,000 viewers in one week. Fans from all over the world, not only Korea and Asia, have shown their interest in the song with over 1,600 comments made in various languages such as English, Korea, Japanese and Chinese.
JYJ, who are at the center of Asia’s Hallyu Wave, were chosen to be the honorary ambassadors of the Incheon Asian Games in February. They have been working since the early months of this year on an Incheon Asiad song and music video that the four billion people of Asia can enjoy together.
The teaser video, which is around 38 seconds long, shows the members of JYJ entering the main Asiad stadium and cheering for their Incheon Asian Games. Shots of the three members recording the song, practicing the choreography and shooting the music video have Hallyu fans and sports fans alike excited to see what comes next.
The full audio and music video of ‘Only One’ will be released all across Asia on the 16th, exactly one year till the games begin. Afterwards, JYJ will be promoting the Incheon Asian Games on a ‘road show’ across Asia in countries such as China and Vietnam.

‘HEROSE’, the fanclub of JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, has donated 10 million Won to the Beautiful Foundation.
The fanclub revealed on the 10th that they collected a total of 10 million Won from selling glowsticks at Kim Jaejoong’s mini concerts, which began in Korea in January and ended in Japan in June, and donated the revenue to the ‘Kim Jaejoong Boomerang Scholarship’ of the Beautiful Foundation.
The Beautiful Foundation’s ‘Kim Jaejoong Boomerang Scholarship’ was created by ‘HEROSE’ with a 15 million Won donation in December of 2011 and has been used to pay for school fees for high school students. The scholarship is being funded by Kim Jaejoong’s fans, with his Japanese fanclub recently donating 11 million Won in May.

Korean dramas have finally landed in Greece, the wastelands of the Hallyu Wave.
According to the Greek embassy, MBC’s ‘I Miss You’, which features Park Yoochun as the leading role, began airing on ‘TV100′ on the 4th.
TV100 has ‘I Miss You’ scheduled at 10p.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays, a prime time TV slot, and also airs the episodes for a second time on Sundays at 2p.m. TV100 airs in Thessaloniki, the second largest city of Greece, and attracts 2 million viewers in the central northern districts of Greece.
A representative of the region stated, “Thessaloniki has a lot of JYJ fans, so we believe that Park Yoochun’s drama will be very popular there.”
Kim Byung Yeon of the Korean Embassy of Greece stated, “The hard work and cooperation of Greek broadcasting companies, Korean broadcasting companies, Greece-based Korean companies and the local fanclub since last year have finally seen the fruits of their labor.”

The photo was revealed on the 2014 Incheon Asian Games committee’s official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/IncheonAG2014) and was taken while JYJ were recording their Incheon Asiad song ‘Only One’.

Hallyu group TVXQ have taken the number one spot on the Oricon Charts in just two days since releasing their latest Japanese single.
According to the Oricon Charts, TVXQ’s 38th single ‘SCREAM’, which was released on the 4th, sold an additional 56,316 copies and topped the daily singles charts.
TVXQ entered the charts in second place after losing to ‘Melon Juice’ by HKT48, the sister group of AKB48, but topped the charts on the second day by selling more than three times as much as HKT48. TVXQ have sold a total of 113,386 copies in two days and have proven yet again just how popular they are in Japan.
As the first song in three months since their June-released single ‘Ocean’, ‘SCREAM’ has already been chosen as the OST of ‘Sadako 3D 2′, and as the theme song of various programs such as ‘Hiruobi’ and ‘MUSIC BB’.
