[Trans] 121202 Park Yoochun, “My Younger Brother Made Me Very Proud Of Him”‏

[Trans] 121202 Park Yoochun, “My Younger Brother Made Me Very Proud Of Him”

Park Yoochun who is currently acting as the lead in MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Missing You’, recently praised his younger brother in an interview, “In the past, I have a feeling that I had to lead the family (as a family head) but now my younger brother’s strength is getting stronger gradually that he made me feel that I have some parts I can depend on.”

Ever since his younger brother Park Yoohwan (21) debuted as an actor last year’s February in MBC weekend drama ‘Shiny Shiny Shining’, he experienced a total of three dramas last year, including MBC ‘Gye Baek’ and SBS ‘Thousand Days Promise’, making his face and name known. Especially in ‘Thousand Days Promise’ where he acted as the younger brother of Soo Ae, his sincere tearing acting gained attraction.

This year, he was chosen to be the lead in Channel A ‘Strongest Kpop Survival’, followed by a six month stint in MBC sitcom ‘Can’t Live Without You’.

Park Yoochun laughed saying, “Yoohwan seems to be acting very well. As he have acted in sitcom and dramas, he has more acting experiences than me.”

He continued to emphasize, “His non-stop filming of 110 episodes recently is very commendable. Seems that since the both of us are acting, we are able to understand and relate to each other. Thus it feels really comfortable and good.”

Park Yoohwan is the typical example of ‘started acting through his brother.’ Living together with his older brother and mother, he returned to Korea after spending 6 years in America. Before he found his goal at acting, he was at a lost with no dream.

However through his older brother Park Yoochun, he developed an interest in acting and after a year of acting classes, he received a pass immediately at his first audition and acted in ‘Shiny Shiny Shining’.

Park Yoochun said, “It’s only a few years ago that I became an actor together with Yoohwan. It was really unexpected. My younger brother is currently doing very well and I am very proud of it.”

JYJ Junsu

From his singing to his dancing, everything about XIA Junsu enchanted people in Germany.

In a total of 12 different cities, Junsu performed 13 times in front approximately 53,800 people for the world tour. The finale of the world tour took place at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany on the 30th of November. It is Junsu’s second time performing in Germany after JYJ’s performance in Berlin. It was the first time an Asian performer appeared at the location.

World-famous bands like Korn, Motor Head, Stone Sour and Caliban have performed at the Turbinenhalle prior to Junsu’s appearance.

The chilling cold was unnoticed by 1,800 fans who heated up the building. The fans showed up at the location hours before the start of the concert and danced along to Junsu’s music and compared their hand-made posters while waiting to enter.

When the concert finally began, all of the fans stood up from their seats and began to dance along. Junsu showed his gratitude for his fans by placing all of his energy into his performances.

During the concert, Junsu performed a total of 17 songs, 11 songs from his official first album and songs from musicals. The concert began with “Breath”, followed by “No Gain”, “Lullaby”, “Intoxication”, “Set Me Free” and more.

The English single Uncommitted was also a special gift. Another song included, “You are so Beautiful”, an OST from a drama as well as songs like, “Last Dance” from the musical “Elizabeth” and more.

For 2 hours, Junsu showed off everything he learned from touring the world on his own and left a lasting impression to the people in the audience. With his strong vocals and sexy dance moves, people just couldn’t get enough.

When his title song “Tarantallegra” began to play, the crowd went wild with outbursts of screams and danced along with him throughout the whole song.

There was a special moment in the middle of the concert where Junsu gave his fans three wishes. One 18-year-old fan from Turkey wished to dance on stage with Junsu. The young fan revealed that he had learned the moves to “Tarantallegra” by watching a video online and was unable to hide his excitement. Junsu was also very grateful for the fan who had learned all of his choreography.

Even after the concert had ended, fans continued to applaud and didn’t want to leave the building. Junsu even went down from the stage to bow to his fans to show his gratitude.

When he completed his concert, Junsu stated, “Thank you for the fans who came from all over the world to see my concert. You have shown me hope and allowed me to start another dream. I will cherish all the applause and tears I have received from 12 different cities and make sure to repay all of you.”

It was a moment that made everybody curious about how far Junsu will be able to go in the future.

Meanwhile, Junsu released his first official solo album Tarantallegra last May and began to travel to cities in places like Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Shanghai, Hong Kong, New York, Mexico and more.

[NEWS] JYJ’s Junsu: “The Only Person Who Will Break PSY’s Record Is PSY Himself”

[NEWS] JYJ’s Junsu: “The Only Person Who Will Break PSY’s Record Is PSY Himself”

On November 29 at a hotel in Germany, JYJ’s Junsu made statements concerning singer PSY. He said, “Achieving Billboard Top 10 is hard even for American singers, so for PSY to reach top two with a song sang in Korean was an amazing accomplishment. Realistically, I think it would be hard for other Korean singers to break his record, except maybe PSY himself. Perhaps, and hopefully, we could be the one to break the record.”

Junsu continued, “Music is not like soccer where you can keep a clear score. When I say my goal is to succeed in music, what I mean is to improve people’s view on KPop music.”

He also shared the story of how he first saw “Gangnam Style” MV. He said, “When I was in U.S. to shoot “Uncommitted” MV, an American actor for this MV showed me “Gangnam Style” MV on his cellphone.”

Junsu has been a member of DBSK, and then JYJ, and became a top star in Korea. As a member of JYJ, his popularity has spread to Japan, and the rest of the world including in North and South America.

In May 2012, Junsu has released a solo album “Xia” and has performed in Asia, North and South America, and Europe. He will be completing his world tour on December 30 in Oberhausen in Germany.

[TRANS] 121128 Will The Doors Of Broadcasting Companies Open For JYJ? “Discussions Are Needed”

[TRANS] 121128 Will The Doors Of Broadcasting Companies Open For JYJ? “Discussions Are Needed”

Will the doors of broadcasting companies open for JYJ, who have been locked in a legal battle with their former agency SM Entertainment?

Following the announcement on the 28th that SM Entertainment and JYJ reached an agreement after three years locked in a legal battle, many are curious to see if this will lead to an appearance in broadcasted TV shows by JYJ.

According to legal circles, SM and the three members of JYJ reached an agreement that all contracts signed by the two parties had effectively ended on the 31st of July, 2009. All relevant lawsuits were to be dropped, and neither party would interfere with the opposite party’s future activities.

With the end of the lawsuit, new possibilities have opened up for the three members of JYJ in the entertainment industry. When JYJ began their individual activities, they weren’t able to appear on TV shows run by the three main broadcasting companies due to their lawsuit with SM. Though Park Yoochun and Kim Jaejoong have been making appearances on TV through dramas, they have not been able to appear on music programs or awards shows since releasing their albums.

For example, in May of 2011, KBS explained the reason why JYJ were not to appear on variety shows such as ‘Music Bank’ when they stated, “JYJ’s lawsuit has not ended with their former agency. It is normal for us to wait and refrain from casting celebrities who are locked in legal battles, as their appearance on TV shows may influence the results of their lawsuits.”

Now that an agreement has ended the lawsuit, the spotlight has shifted to the three main broadcasting companies. Many are curious to see if the end of the lawsuit that has freed JYJ from restrictions will give them the chance to appear on music programs or variety shows.

Regarding this, Jeon Jin Guk, the director of KBS’ variety sector, stated in a phone conversation with OSEN that, “We heard the news through an article. I believe the details of our stance on the issue will be solidified through further discussion,” and “I don’t believe there will be any reason for us to refrain from allowing JYJ to appear on KBS TV shows if their lawsuit has come to a complete end, as that was the reason for our actions.”

MBC’s Won Mak Sik stated, “Though the lawsuit between the two parties has ended, we believe it is a problem that requires time to observe the situation.” Another representative of MBC’s variety sector explained, “We have not yet discussed the possibilities of JYJ appearing on music programs and variety shows,” and “This is an issue that must be considered by the entire variety sector.”

PD Park Seung Min of SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ gave a short statement of, “This is an issue for the entire variety sector to discuss. I can’t say much because there hasn’t been any discussion as of now.”

[TRANS] 121129 Kim Jaejoong, “Congratulations To MyDaily On Your 8th Anniversary!”

JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, who has made a transformation into a movie star, has personally congratulated MyDaily for their eighth anniversary.

During an interview with MyDaily recently, Kim Jaejoong left the message “Congratulations to MyDaily On Your 8th Anniversary” with his signature.

Kim Jaejoong’s debut movie ‘Jackal Is Coming’ recently made its debut. Making an appearance as the popular star Choi Hyun, Kim Jaejoong showcased his passion and fighting spirit as a rookie movie star by doing anything and everything for his role.

Regarding this, Kim Jaejoong stated, “I didn’t feel embarrassed by the notion of doing anything for the movie, and because I worked hard for my role, I felt like I shouldn’t. Because I went in with that mindset, I didn’t think too much of it. Though I was a little worried about wrecking my image, I wasn’t too concerned.”

He also revealed his methods of self-mind control by saying, “No matter how hard it is now, I feel better when I think about the future. I relieve my stress by looking back at how much I’ve grown over time and how much I’ve gained through the process.”
